@@BeyondTheRaptor The coax center conductor carries the signal, the braid needs to be grounded to the vehicle to act as a ground plane. Otherwise you'll have a puke-awful standing wave ratio of power going the wrong way back into your radio. At best you'll take a major performance hit, at worst you can destroy your transceiver.

How does the antenna mount ground to the truck
Since its a 3d printed mount i don’t believe it does. Its performed well on a number of trips. Do you have any suggestion?
