Love how the dude is on the bike, it's running, he has money in hand, and he still tries to talk you down. The annoying realities of this kinda crap. Great build man, loved watching it get fixed up.
While I do not know what you have into this bike I think it is around a $3500 bike. He got a good deal and if you made some cash everyone should be happy. You don't have to store it now and gained garage space. $100 is not a big deal and he spent that on gas if he was telling the truth about the 5 hour drive. Two tanks of gas isn't cheap these days.
I'll have to check Sheetz. I'm in Northern VA and the closest non-ethanal gas station is over an hour away. I've been running E10 through my vintage bikes for a while now and they've been fine. If a nearby station had it, I'd use it.
An offer has to be accepted key it to get the price you are happy with. Wash with a mitt or detail brush, degrease then wash. Nice bike. Blackfire One by hand will get scratches out of paint, that ceramic is good.
Kbb value is not really a good indicator for these classic bikes, especially a non-stock like this cafe. I think around $3k is fair. But it’s a custom bike, so it’s really only worth 3-3.5 to someone that wants it like that vs stock
First he lowballed you even after talking about his expensive bike. Then did a clutch release with high rpm’s and then I can’t believe he put enough trust in you to ride your own bike again even when you had the cash. 😂
You should have messed with him and took off on the bike with the cash in your pocket when you road over to meet at him the notary. Then turn around and head back of course. : ) Do you have any idea what the next bike will be? I suggest looking for an old British twin if you haven't owned one of those. My 1964 Triumph 650 is my favorite bike.
I can't wait for the next build. Don't keep us hanging, cause your videos are dope!!!!

Im sad to see the bike go… but I Hope you get another nice project!
Excited for the next project!
The suspense is sky high!
It turned out really well. Hopefully you made some money on it. That guy was a bit of a d-bag, but sold is sold.
You done well, I hate the selling part too.

Pretty much every new Sheetz has ethanol free fuel. It's the red handle. I been getting it at the one in Jefferson Hills on 51 by Bowser.

Do you think you'll do a run down on the numbers - was it a break even or not?
Nice! New project coming 👍

Please be careful when doing these transactions, have someone else with you people are so sketchy now days you can't trust anyone.

Good luck
Hard to let a build go after so much effort and work go,s in to it , but new day , new build coming
I think $3100 is a fair price. What's the next project? Hopefully a late 70's/early 80's Yamaha!

"Dayton, Ohio" is a red flag! I would have sent old boy packing.

If you took the money, you lowballed yourself. LOL

Oof poor etiquette filming a transaction like that.
Why? If something went wrong then he would have it recorded.
@@mackenziewarnick like what? Do record everything you do? What if something goes wrong?
