Love your videos! If you’re looking to add more content to your channel I’m not an expert nor a UA-camr by any means but you could always make separate videos just for you cutting the rear and mounting the new seat. Or working on the carb. Or even just installing new handle bars and just break down the videos. Overall I really enjoy your builds and want to see you keep posting! So thanks 🤙🏻
Ouch, a second year CB500Four in nice shape. This hurts. At least you didn't completely butcher it like another person I just watched. This cafe racer stuff is hard to watch. The absolute worst was this moron that F-ed up a FIRST year CB750 Four to make his "dream bike". That's criminal.
I don't think I would put any passengers on that seat. That rear hoop has little to no structural value just being screwed into the old frame. It should have been welded in place if you don't want a passenger falling into the rear tire when the screws pull out.
Seriously, but look at what he opened with. The cup explains it all. These hipsters with deep pockets are destroying these bikes. I was lucky enough to get my hands on a complete one and I'm just modding parts with better OEM options while keeping the origin parts in storage.
And Yeah:Thrash is the perfect word for this. I like Custom. And I like anything modyfied. BUT IT HAS TO BE DONE RIGHT! Not even a one handed blind kid could do this worse. Congrats! You just destroyed a fine Bike. Well done! 🤮🤮
I've currently have a 75 Honda CB 125S torn down and I'm getting ready to order up some turn signals and headlight. Please aharw how you use LED 12 volt lights with a 6 volt system if possible? Any guidance would be very appreciated.
Great build, honestly the only thing I'm confused about is when you used WD40 under the grips. I have a hard enough time keeping grips solid with alcohol wipes, grip glue, etc. I usually end up blowing compressed air into the grip to create an air pocket while I slide it on. I have never seen anyone use lubricant under a grip. I'm not judging or criticizing I'm genuinely asking, is there some method of success to this that I've been missing all these years. Thanks!
I also think that the bike looks a lot better in original state.A Giuliari seat with some sport handlebars would do it for me. All these so called "Cafe Racers" look the same. I wouldn't think about raping my '75 z900 like that.
I was wondering if you could show how you made the helmet mount. It's the first video I've watched and I'm really excited about your other projects, cool work and the helmet mount is great, greetings
Great video, subbed! Great solution for mounting the rear end for those who don’t have a welder accessible! Also question, what material did you use for the seat pan?
I disagree with this, I feel like that's an accident waiting to happen. Aesthetically it seems to work, but functionally and structurally it isn't providing anywhere near the support it should. I would caution you or anyone not to do this, but that's only my opinion. I'm sorry you didn't get an answer to you materials question. It's something I wanted to know as well.
Bro an inverter welder costs 50 dollars as much. If you have money to get a 550 Honda you can afford a stick welding machine. That thing he did with the bolts doesn't seem to safe, can be a temporary solution but I would put my life on two bots
Trying to keep constructive here but i’m not agreeing with the way you mounted your rear hoop. Weld it please before you or your passenger have an accident with it. Also keep making new videos with improvements on this bike. I’m sure it will turn out even cleaner in the long run!
Hi, you're 100% right on welding the hoop. I don't have a welder & this was to hold me over till I could get it welded. I would definitely not want a passenger on till it was welded! Thanks for the constructive feedback!
God it’s just heart breaking every time to watch ppl saw up their classic bike frames. We won’t have any unmolested classic bikes left
Did you RIVET on the rear hoop? If anyone ever ride pillion that is is just waiting to fail. Just run a bead of weld along that interface.
I like the cutaway while you were trying to take the plenum out, that thing is such a pain in the ass
You make the best videos on UA-cam man
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤good job❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Being a super novice builder I can't tell you how much you've helped me. Thanks so much and you have a great eye without over doing things.
What you do is awesome boy !
Thank you!
Rad video brother 🤙🏻
Awesome bike, man!
Wow rough
You deserve more subscribers

Sweet video! Hoping to see the bike on the channel again running and driving!👏
Thanks so much! I'm glad you enjoyed the video!

im sorry im new into bikes.. why do you wrap the exhaust pipes?

Yes you’re right. This was a temporary solution till I got it to my guy with a welder.
If you're going to destroy Survivor at least do it right.
Invest in a welder. Man this hurt
Wd40 on hand grip bet that took ages to dry out
Ah man such a nice bike in original condition why trash it ?! 😢
Agree. The prices are going up too so he lost a bunch of money there, the original is just a good bike

It was the first thing he said. “It’s a dream come true”. Did you give up on your dreams James?

Sick builds
Thanks so much! New Sportster build coming soon!

C'est scandaleux comment il a fixer la boucle arrière... Soude la, le métal est déjà en train de se rompre
My first motorcycle was a 1973 Honda CB500. I picked up up in good running condition for $400 lol. I think that was in 2001.
Nice!...I want to build one myself, but I can't seem find a 750 at a good price. Then its where do I start...Great video though!
Do you need to add any sort of muffler when cutting the exhaust like that, or is it fine the way it is?
I would prefer the original look... But great effort though... 😊
I much preferred a bit more stock with some of the mods you did.

Using gas as lube works pretty good
How did you do your handle bars ? Are they the stock bars ? Are they just positioned a lower ?
I like it but i wish you didn’t cut parts since they’re starting to get rare. Kinda sad to watch
What a mess
greeting! I'm making a racer of yamaha xy900 1983, what is your opinion about mogadget? greetings from Croatia!
Much better to keep it on original becuase its a very rare bike. But it depends on your idea bro. New subscriber. Im now a fan bro
I also think that the bike looks a lot better in original state.A Giuliari seat with some sport handlebars would do it for me. All these so called "Cafe Racers" look the same. I wouldn't think about raping my '75 z900 like that.
In Germany we say: Pfusch
Damn no disrespect, but you messed that bike up .
I was wondering if you could show how you made the helmet mount. It's the first video I've watched and I'm really excited about your other projects, cool work and the helmet mount is great, greetings

Damn I saw the video again. Are self drilling screws. Not even a bolt
What make handlebars are you using??
Hi. I’m using some 7/8” clubman handlebars I picked up off Amazon.
Why????
To show bad taste.
I def would have went with a brown seat.
With that two seater banana shaped seat it will never get the cafe racer look, I know, everything is cafe racer this days 😖
You didn't even show the bike at all once you finished lmao you just sat on and blocked most of the work you just did 😂
😊😊🌹🌹👍👍👍
,so a yellow headlight no ten signals not legal

I would of left it original
Exhaust needs to be wrapped back to front, not front to back. The way you did it is going to cause them to unravel.
You should also always have the bandade wet when applying it
Are you thinking of selling this racer?!
Well I actually already did.
@@twopencemoto4759 no! 😭😢😩
@@eddielopez4408 I've got a 72 CB 450 I may be willing to sell.
@@twopencemoto4759 would you happen to have any photos? I went to your website I did not see it there, but my gosh I love your work!
@@eddielopez4408 thanks so much. Shoot me a message on Instagram and I’ll send you some pics.
