Hope to see some more 8 videos someday in the future. This is a great station for buffing. I’ve been coming here regularly anymore. I’ve become very familiar with HFD and the good stations
I was almost the first to catch it when I was buffing in Houston, saw it respond a few times, but never caught it on video Fun facts about HFD station 8: Station 8 is the largest fire station in the world without administrative offices Station 8 averages about 60 calls per day, making it one of the busiest in the nation Engine 8 is one of 2 high-pressure engines in the city of Houston Station 8 houses District 8, Engine 8, Engine 1, Medic 8, Ambulance 8, Mobile Command 8, MPV 6-02, and Rehab 8
Interesting info, thanks :) But are you sure that this is supposed to be the largest fire station in the world (!) without administrative offices? Here in Europe we have numerous stations with 40 truck bays and more. Even volunteer fire departments sometimes have stations with 20 bays (like station 1 in the town where I live right now) and not all of these stations have administrative offices
Thanks. You should get some stuff! Depends where you go in Colorado I guess. Denver and the surrounding areas I know are quite busy - and South Metro seem like a cool Fire Department! (Check out South Metro Fire PIO on UA-cam)
Alright! I’m going to Colorado Springs so should get some there hopefully..Also I’m going from Ft worth Texas to Colorado so.. 7 hours of driving I should get some catches on the way..
I can guarantee that didn't come that way from Frazer when new, my guess is that is was wrecked at some point and the low bid body shop put the new one one wrong ;-)
For some reason, Ambulance 8 did runs from the back while I was there, and also, they must of changed the name because when I was there, it was Medic 8 (it said M8 on it)
I always see that on HFD's slightly older Engine 52. When I was sitting at a stoplight, I saw Engine 52 with the left arrow on the TA bar on. Don't know why.
Thanks! Got some good videos to come. Unfortunately I wont be going to San Antonio or Austin just yet as I have limited time in TX before my next states. But they're both on my list along with Dallas as a must!
Master Ponch2007 Houston Fire Department Can be scanned through Broadcastify, on the Computer or mobile, the Frequencies can be used on the regular scanner, to access HFD Fire Tac channels, You can use Broadcastify, or get the Handheld digital trunking. Almost every Texas entity has it.
Okay, that ambulance is literally a rolling disaster. The lights are all only half working at best, some not at all, and I'm sorry but how friggin stupid do you have to be to mount the push bar that far off center, not realize it's messed up, and keep going with installing the rest of the equipment on it? Seriously, as someone who takes pride in the upfits I do, that bus is legitimately why we can't have nice things. Aside from that it's a great video. Don't see too much film from Houston!

The fire station is on either Louisiana Street or Smith Street.
Nice catches! Hope to see some more Houston vids soon!
Thanks dude! I have plenty more to come. Trying to edit and upload inbetween buffing haha!
CobraEmergencyVideos - North America This is our version of The Big House in Orlando! We haven’t had a Station 1 in years!
@@gunn13fan Sure is a big house! Station 8 taking both Station 1 and 8 in one I guess!
CobraEmergencyVideos - North America I checked, the original station 1 is now a hotel
Awesome catches man! Love the look of those engines!
Thank you! Me too, the Spartans look real smart.
All new huh? Awesome catch as always my friend! Greetings from Mexico City
Gracias amigo! No not all new, sorry to mislead! Only Engine 8.

Sayje Benjamin in Europe they have volunteer stations with 20-50 bays sometimes, I don’t think this is the biggest
@@EnjoyFirefighting I was told it by their station crew, so, could be possible, if I'm wrong, then probably largest in North America
Awesome! Like those engines. I need to buff this station sometime. I just don’t leave my side of Houston much
Welcome to Texas! I have been keeping a close eye on Houston recently!
Thank you bro! Saw your channel and subbed. Houston's pretty cool.
Going to Colorado soon..don’t know if there is much action there but hopefully I’ll get some catches! Great catches! 👍

@@bluelightsresponding138 Oh yeah you should definitely see some cool stuff! Let us know how it goes
Will do thanks for the information and support!
@@bluelightsresponding138 Have fun!
No more engine 508. That ambulance has seen better days since I’ve been there.
FB2 Response Videos The Chief has been very slow in getting equipment replaced! The union has been asking for new rigs, the Fire Chief has been lax!
Good looking equipment. Nice video.
Thanks dude. I love the rigs here.
Amazing catches. Love Houston
Thank you! Me too so far :D
Was the upfitter drunk when they mounted the pushbar on their Ambulance? If not what is the reason it is off center toward the drivers side?
412 PSE Kustomz, LLC my thoughts exactly
I can guarantee that didn't come that way from Frazer when new, my guess is that is was wrecked at some point and the low bid body shop put the new one one wrong ;-)

Great Catch!
For some reason, Ambulance 8 did runs from the back while I was there, and also, they must of changed the name because when I was there, it was Medic 8 (it said M8 on it)
Strange! Was it definitely the same unit with the weird ram bar? Same plate?
I think the difference is Medic 8 is a BLS unit and Ambulance 8 is a ALS unit
Great video!
Looks like Ambo 8 had low power mode on those front lights.
Yeah it did! Must been an error as they weren't like that when I caught them again. Thanks for watching
Awesome video!
Thank you!!!
Awesome video
great catches !!
Thanks dude!
The lightbar on the Ambulance looks weak.
It looks like it is in low power mode.
Wasn't there ladder at this station at one time?
I think engine 1 forgot to disable the left arrow function on the traffic director...
I always see that on HFD's slightly older Engine 52. When I was sitting at a stoplight, I saw Engine 52 with the left arrow on the TA bar on. Don't know why.
@@R06H weird. Think its an automatic function?
@@RedHat2023 Could be.
@@R06H yeah.
What type of scanner do you use
I use the Scanner Radio App for Android. It's also for iOS and possibly other phone operating systems!
😄 Wambulance 8’s front push bar was put on wrong.
Haha yeah. Been meaning to ask if anyone knows about that!
CobraEmergencyVideos - North America I have no idea why, but it looks awful.
Damn didn’t know you went to Texas! Looking forward to new stuff from Texas in the future

Master Ponch2007 he most likely used a whistler WS1040 since it’s a P25 phase I frequency

Ya quisiera que haci fuera la policía, lod bomberos y para médicos en México muchos no atienden las llamadas
Awesome
Now you in my town
I like it!
So that fire station has no ladder truck?
Nicholas Peberdy negative, Station 7 down the street has a ladder.
As John said; no Ladder. Station 7 less than a mile away has one though :)
@@CobraEmergencyNorthAmerica It's a bummer that Station 8 that has no ladder truck.
Stay in Houston
