I found that if you pull the sides out just enough to push the docking tab down through the slot with a small flat blade screw driver it will pop free without ripping the cover like in the video
Thank you very much. However, my car does not have mudflaps, but bumper has three connections near the wheel on one side. Two screws and one plastic nail.
powerfulukltd thanks for the reply, I'm to try get some small pipe grips on the tomorrow. Just not a lot of room between them and the bottom on the lower boot. Damn. I was only colour coding the scuff plate, saw the rust and need to replace them, my OCD going crazy. Thanks again for your reply.

Hi HTH - thanks for adding these additional notes from your own experience. This will i am sure help others.
*breaks both tabs on passenger side* “Okay great!”
Tabs for bumper cover are: 10cm, 25cm, and 40cm back from wheel well. Use a trim tool and press down to avoid breaking the tabs.
Thanks for this - it will help others for sure.
Thank you Powerfull, another good video 💪🏻
My pleasure!

Hello powerfulukltd I have a question, how I can calibrate lower tailgate section on L322 2004 ?
After watching your video I have found that the 5 bolts under the scuff panel and rusted to Hell, is there an easy way of removing them?
Thanks.
Josh.
not good ! maybe cut a slot in the top of them ?

they are only into spring clips so should not be too tight.
Lovely, I've soaked them in penetrating spray so hopefully will help.
Thanks guys.
And you have one broken "ear" in the middle,on the right side of the buper, because of the pull....
