OK, i haven’t been a rugby fan before. I was a soccer guy all my life and I l stopped watching sports altogether about 10 years ago. But the Springboks in the past two years have been amazing and I’ve started following rugby more. Never played rugby at school or anywhere, but this podcast has really helped me understand the game, its history and where it’s going.

@markbadcock4536 home advantage. Matters a lot more than people think. But seriously, if you genuinely don't think the NH can play well against the best SH, you have not been watching them play recently. The only reason I think England are going to lose to SA is because they'll be fatigued after beating NZ and AUS. As for ireland and france, I don't think they'll lose a match this autumn. It's going to be rough for razor and I really hope the NZ don't judge him too harshly, because the only game they're gonna win is italy I reckon.
However yes, these are just predictions and really anything can happen. But like you said, can't umderestimate the SH, just like you definitely can't underestimate the NH
As for what part of England's game can outplay the boks? The Backs. And it's not even close. I will stand by this, England have the best backline in the world currently

I realise you have had NZ's number as of late, however I don't think you are beating them. Aus yes, everyone will probably have a go at them. Regardless, even if the boks played a fresh english pack, there is no way you will beat them. Ire vs NZ should be a tight game, with Ire taking it. Your comment re the backlines is why I'm asking if you are trolling. Who in your backline makes it not even close?

Our collective mind goes from Pre-Rassie to Era of Rassie. Under him, political appointees went out the door. Under him, transformation became a problem of the past as he introduced more players of colour than any coach before him. Under him, rugby was made popular with people of colour and gave them a deep sense of pride in this sport. Where rugby was a white person's game in South Africa before him, he made it truly universal - which is exemplified by the iconic and inspirational Siya Kolisi. Millions of black and white children now look at this incredible man as a role model and are inspired by his greatness.
The 57-0 result was the catalyst that brought forth the most successful spell for the Springboks since the game turned professional.

To consistently challenge England and the top-tier rugby nations, the Springboks should avoid experimenting with their lineup, especially against such formidable opponents. The first test against Argentina serves as a stark reminder of the consequences of such tactics. While the Rugby World Cup is a significant goal, we should prioritize closing the historical gap between the All Blacks and the Springboks. By focusing on this, we can establish a strong foundation for future success.

I'd say beating the All blacks twice 4 times in two years is a big step towards closing the historical gap and England hardly ever wins ,they usually play their strongest teams against the top tier teams, just look at the Irish tests,so they are doing exactly what you are asking😅

Boks need to have a backup for Etzabeth, Du Toit, Marx and De Allende. These guys are the fulcrum of the team from a physicality perspective. Currently Erasmus has no viable alternative for these guys(Esterhuizen is a great 12 but never gets selected) Tonyball will not be the reason the Boks beat England. It will be their physicality. The Bok physicality is key and some of the subs don't bring it(lookign at you Moerat, Am etc)

Southern Hemisphere rugby should just cancel incoming French tours. They're not going to sell out stadiums or bring big TV audiences so they do nothing for the finances of the local union or it's brand value. We should opt out of playing them on the end of season Northern Hemisphere tours too. Let them play their domestic rugby and we'll see them at RWC's.
