When I visited Australia in 1989, this song was very popular. When I listen today in 2023, it gives me warm shivers and enormously strong memories. I really want to visit Australia one more time. Greetings from Sweden!

I was about 8 years old when this released.
I remember my nan was a big neighbour's fan and she loved Jason.
I can remember going to town with her one Saturday morning to buy this record, lol.
She bought it from our price records. Sadly that chain of record shops is long gone.
In 1989 I was 12, he was truly my first ever heart-throb. When I hear this again and other songs of his, it just all comes back, I can go right back to being that little silly girl! 😂 He sure was cute though ❤

Agreed, but there is an option for higher picture quality in Settings. It actually looks OK on my phone's OLED screen but don't forget this was originally filmed in 89 so I'm guessing at best they only had hd1080 then, maybe not even that high🤔

@@scrumpy213Back in the analogue era, music videos, especially the ones by famous artists, were usually filmed on 35mm (or at least 16mm) film stock. The 35mm ones can be re-scanned at 4K, while the 16mm ones' top resolution is HD.
@@zlatanzakic sadly its 100% true what you say. Some of the tries of pushing it at 4K actually look " fake " sharp. HD is purely enough. Id even say, this one HD looks kinda " colder " than the original. its like making an 60 yo woman look 18 again.
