I think what he means is that nowadays the music industry has gone the wrong way. Of course what you guys say is true about technological advancement but nowadays a teenager listening to these songs would get bullied due to the crappy rap, hip hop and these artists are not singers nowadays since they cant sing. they are performers. When you really listen you can hear how talented SAW were the multi layers that created the song were ahead of their time in this type of format of production the bridges in all their tunes were superb

Stock, Aitken and Waterman were often inspired by club tracks (Waterman was a DJ) but softened the edges and put some boy meets girl lyrics over the top for the pop market. 'Never Gonna Give You Up', for example, started off as a rip off of the bassline from "Trapped" by Colonel Abrams, which was quite a dark and menacing club track, but the synth strings and Rick's dulcet tones turned it into a housewife's favourite.

If I see this video,I feel myself 19 years old again, in 1987 when I saw him first time on TV.He was very cute and I fell in love with him at first sight....:)) I loved his songs very much in '80s, I love these songs in 2015 too.Now he is 49 (and very handsome ,I think) but sometimes I see him 21 and feel myself 19 again...But to be handsome is not enough,I love his new songs too and I love the wonderful,warm tone of his voice,one of the most beautiful singing voice I ever heard.
