Paint Matching Audi R8 Nardo Grey 1016 Carbon Fiber Hood - PPG Paints

Painting a New Custom Hood on this Audi R8. How to get that super Glossy Mirror Finish and Perfect clean lines on masked carbon. How I spray and my results, I used Sagola 4600 extreme for my base coat/ Clear coat and it sprayed absolutely Perfect, Highly Recommend!

Results look amazing I have a similar project ongoing but the collision shop I took it too says that I may need to blend the fenders, I wonder if that's really necessary to get a good paint match unfortunately I have front ppf and may cost more to get it removed and installed again just to have the fenders blend to the hood, I'm working with an orange color btw (WCL)

I hate to blend when unnecessary, here you’ll have to blend the doors, fenders and bumpers if they go that route, i would rather spend extra time on color match and leave original factory paint, especially if its ppf’d.

looks great are you using the Sagola for all your clear jobs now? do you prefer it to your W400?
you wouldnt expect the clear wrap to alter the color that much but it sure does make a difference hey...
