Woohoo!! We were excited to cross into the Arctic Circle also! We were in the Observation Lounge and took a selfie as proof (we're such goofballs!). 😀 Glad you got to go to a farm before visiting Dynjandi. I would have loved to see those horses up close. We did just the visit to Dynjandi, and from the looks of it in your video, we climbed about as far as you did. What a MASSIVE waterfall! We might have been there at the same time, and also in Indulge around the same time (lunch visit), so of COURSE I had to see if I got on camera. Nope. 😂 As always, I appreciate the background music you choose for your videos. Perfect!
Amazing. That waterfall was just stunning on the video, so I can only just imagine how it was to be actually there. Indulge Food Hall is a wonderful concept. As you say Zach, the quality is circa buffet quality. But some of it is speciality quality. Tamara, for example, had some of the tastiest curries I’ve ever eaten.
Nice vlog Zack. I’ll be putting this Prima itinerary on my cruise calendar for Summer 2027. 2025 and 2026 are already full thanks to your recommendations as well as some other solo cruisers on YT.
It’s great that the Prima was able to dock. I cruised around Iceland last July on the Azamara Journey and we docked at Isafjordur too, but the Celebrity Apex had to tender out in the bay. I guess it was just too big. Isafjordur was my favourite Icelandic port other than Reykjavik, because I had specifically wanted to visit there after seeing videos of spectacular plane landings at the tiny runway (which you can see on the west side of the inlet in your video).
We are going on the Prima 9/5 from Reykjavík - we are so excited! It looks like a beautiful ship. Iceland was on my bucket list of places to visit. Your video tour really highlights the beauty of this magnificent country and I love the music you use! Thank you for taking us along!
Zach, you've made us rethink our cruising bucket list! We are *totally* Prima fans, but thought it was really suited to warm weather itineraries due to the focus on outside spaces. QUESTION: How did you find the interior spaces on Prima on a colder climate intinerary? Our concern has been that if most cruisers stay inside, Prima is quite crowded. Is that not true...because we're happy to be wrong!
I LOVED Prima in a colder climate. Granted I've never tried it in any other climate, but I thought the ship was so beautiful and just fit so well in the cooler environment. Plus, there was always plenty of space and solitude on the outdoor decks! I never found the inside to be overly crowded, certainly no more than any other cruise ship. The only exception to this would be the Observation Lounge which was ALWAYS crowded. I highly recommend this cruise!!

Tamara was simply amazing. I can't tell you how much curry I had throughout the trip. I dream of it now.

I kept watching for planes out there but never saw any!

Did you see the Northern Lights in the evening? Bucket List for me. Thanks.
No it never got dark enough sadly. :(
When did you travel on this cruise? We are doing this same cruise the first of August.
Enjoyed your details!!
He was on the July 4, 2024 sailing. Just two weeks ago.
July 4th. And I hope you have a great cruise!!
Was the sea rough at any point in this sailing?
Not at all, we had great seas the entire trip.
