We heard so many good things about the Mosel Valley in Germany that we had to visit. Probably the most well known town there is Cochem, it has a beautiful castle on top of a hill surrounded by vineyards, absolutely beautiful! After visiting the castle we went up a mountain with a chairlift to experience a beautiful view over Cochem city.
Also an absolute must when visiting the Mosel valley is to taste the local wine!
I heard Cochem is very nice during Christmas time also, so don't hesitate to make this your next Christmas holiday destination!

Many happy memories of Cochem. Used to go camping there in the 70s, at a site very near the chairlift, which i rode often. Doesn't look like it changed very much! ☺️ Fantastic video.
Glad that you like the video. The chairlifts were nice and indeed they might've been the same as about 40 years ago. Still functional though 😊

Yes I love the wine there. Actually I'm going to Bernkastel-Kues next week which is also in the Mosel Valley. I need some sunshine soon though 😁

What restaurant did you go to for dinner? The food looks absolutely amazing 😋
Oh I don't really remember 🤣 It was right in the old town and most dishes were served on a pan, very delicious!
