ANDHRA IDLI WITH IDLY RAVA| Soft Idli in 2 methods

    Andra idly
    This idly is made using idly rava
    taste is little different from tamilnadu idly
    soft
    lets see 2 methods of making andra idly
    1.without grinding idly rava
    2.Grinding idly rava
    1cup urad dal
    1/4tsp fenugreek
    rinse well and soak for 5hours
    1/2cup poha
    2cups idly rava
    idly rava is not normal sooji
    rinse and soak poha and idly rava for 1 hour
    grind soaked poha and uraddal ,fenugreek
    grind first without water and then add little by
    little water and grind smooth
    using the soaked water to grind
    mix from bottom to top inbetween the grinding
    process to easily get ground well
    smooth like butter
    transfer ground mixture to bowl
    squeeze the soaked idly rava and add to
    ground urad dal fenugreek mix
    add required salt and mix well
    batter should not be so thick or thin
    let it ferment for 8 to 12 hours
    grease the idly plates and pour batter
    steam for 10mins
    soft andra idly served with spicy kara chutni
    this method idly will be rava textured idly
    lets see the next method
    soaked all the 4 ingredients same as previous
    method
    grinding idli rava also with urad dal
    if you grind more quantity,then you can grind
    both separately and then mix it together
    adding salt while grinding
    ground smooth
    let it ferment for 8 to 12 hours
    cook idli in steam for 10mins
    In both methods ,you will get
    soft idli but the texture differs
