Those fender mirrors are sick. Changes the look dramatically. Like that winch too. Sick wagon. Love the colour too. Real head turner if you are into four wheel drives
I'm in Canada, and own an HJ61. Fantastic vehicle and a lot of fun to drive. They are certainly a bit rickety and rattle and clunk their way down the road, but excellent sturdy trucks. My recommendation to whoever bought this one: rip up that carpet. As with mine, I'm positive you will find some nasty rusty surprises underneath. I would bet money that the floor is rusted right through in this truck, considering the advancement of rust on other areas. Rip it up and get it done now before it gets worse. Even when the truck is up on a hoist, rust has sneaky ways of staying hidden from below. The rubber is worn right off the clutch and brake pedal, this hj almost certainly has more than 300k kms. Change the trans and diff fluids. Those oil leaks Derek pointed out are fairly common places on the 12HT, use an old mineral oil and they might fix themselves. The plastic covers of the gauges are way to clean, someone has changed all of them, I would check to make sure they are all connected.
I love all the Landcruisers. The fact that you guys can get them (in condition like this one!) is just to good to be true for us here in Can/US. Almost all the old Landcruisers (except those meticulously maintained few) are on scrap metal carriers on their way to China to be melted down.
Wish my '88' model had a Turbo and that winch! God knows it needs it. The 86HP Is a Tad sluggish trying to overtake a Semi can be a challenge. But 490,000 km's (300,000Miles) and Still going strong still climbs and pulls anything. Always confuses me being built in 80's but called ''60 series''. The A/C works great in these. Aussie model looks better with the black Roo bar on the front.
I myself just picked up a 1988 60 series. It has lots of rust on the roof. I noticed some differences with mine like the spare tyre is mounted on the back not underneath mine is a turbo but not a diesel it’s a gas and petroleum one mine has the blue carpet but only the driver side one works with mine the sunroof won’t open the interior on mine is in pretty good nick with no tears in it but the outside has considerably rusty mine also only has the single battery not the duel
So wait, these videos are all just teasers? I mean, they are already sold and this video is just to show us what you've bought at auction for a buyer and now sold? Hmmm, wish this was a check out what is for sale now. I'd love to purchase this...
jackfordmac By the time you get it in the UK, a tidy sample will set you back £10,000+ after tax. Probably better off just buying a tidy UKDM example or a Range Rover or something TBH.
Derek there's a UA-camr yourcarbro that's his channel garage defend is trying to use him to sell cars for them can you take a look when you can to make sure that they're not using a military guy.?
Clint Eastwood drove a puke green suicide or opposing door and rear seat kit available was it used at Ultraman movie says writing on door no added turbo boost temperature so didn't have the snot driven out of it going to Japan to teach skiing and being fed noodles oh no move to Canadian embassy free food
80 series best off roader. 60 series best looking land cruiser.
Nice! We love these old Landcruisers in Australia
Josh B Fiji too bro

I agree the fender mirrors change the look dramatically. They've been the most difficult parts I had to source so far in my restoration project.
I foresee these becoming insanely popular over here in the States.
You don't want certain classic cars to be popular in a big nation full of car nuts. That inflates prices to an unreasonable degree. :)
We sold this for special order !! In Washington sold for 18 K 😊
Toyota at its finest! I’ll definitely see pass the rust for a white turbo diesel 5 speed.

Love these things. Proven to be solid, they are also as tough as they look.
I want to go sledding!!!! Living in Florida my entire life I don't get to do it very often:)
The FJ60 comes with the circle lights, and the FJ62 comes with the square lights. It has nothing to do with gas and diesel. Very beautiful vehicle.
Currently I own bj75 that use to have jump seats in the back(1987 Troopy)
thats a neck breaker right there. very nice
