Last year I purchased the 16 inch bar version. It’s a strong saw and basically the same as the 14 inch bar version. Ego Powerplus in Australia often run promotions where if you buy over a certain amount of priced tools they will give you a battery by sending in a copy of the receipt of purchase. Through this promotion I have three tools and four batteries, one 5ah and three 2.5ah plus two chargers. It’s enough to keep me going.
Thank you for the video and all the information. I noticed that it seemed to keep stopping and it looked like you were readjusting something. If that is the case, please explain. Thank you.
Good Morning i have just watched your video very impressive , i bought a 2024 Ego CS4011E chainsaw and used it for the very first time yesterday, i was very disapointed, sc the item described said that the 2.5 lith battery would deliver approx 130 cuts i got 30 all red lights were on, what do you think is the problem, as the logs i was cutting were almost the same size as the tree in the video if not smaller.
Great video, as I recently bought an Ego like yours, excepth mine happened to be a 16". One question. How do I know if oil is lubricating my saw? Doesn't seem to use hardly any oil. Do I hang a piece of paper on a tree in front of me & aim the saw towards it & gun the engine to see if oil sprays onto the paper? Thanks...Barry in Pa.
Bill Emery I have noticed that, if I use it for an extended period of time, the chain gets hot and loosens (sometimes coming off) from what I am guessing is heat expansion. I try to tighten the tension dial when I notice it getting loose. Sometimes works but not always. Thanks for watching and subscribing!
I have a total of 4 batteries which I rotate between 3 tools. 2 of them I had replaced just before the warranty expired because they were not charging. The replacements and the other 2 still work. Thanks for watching.
It was getting bogged down. It may have been user error but I think the tree was a bit much for this saw. I would probably recommend this saw for a 6" diameter tree/branch or less. Thanks for watching.
*push the primer 6 times and let it rip I like the saw for the price👀 **allabout.wiki/9XTAGY** used maybe 10 tanks of fuel, 6 loads of hard wood and am very pleased with it. some will say its under powered for a 20" but I like it better then a 18". I have a 18" also which is great also just like the extra 2" inches. the saw is very light also which is nice. Huskavarna owns EGO Power so I am sure it will last. its not a sthl but still love it! I have seen some bad reviews on the saw but do not agree with them. some people told me not to waste my money but have since changed there mind. just have some common sense and cut some wood!*

Thanks for the video review.
I am looking into a cordless chainsaw, and I can't beleive this is the same model that is currently available.
Thanks for the video Charles!
I bet the tree was slightly pinching initial cut as it stated to lean to the fall side.

Barry Tanenbaum mine has a indicator window but I’m not sure if the 16 inch is different.
Just found a 14” on clearance Home Depot. $67
How long did it take to fix the fence?
It seemed like the saw kept stopping (bogging down) while you were cutting, was that the case or was that you stopping?
I was bogging down some. I think it was more because I didn't notch out the tree enough and the pressure would stop the saw. Thanks for watching!
I have an EGO 16" and love the saw but the chain keeps jumping off the bar. Have you had that issue and if so what did you do to stop it? Thanks

Understood. wisely. Thank you too for replying.
Estimated how many times it can be charged?
Where did you get the battery wall mounts?
I just mounted them myself using the keyholes on the back of the chargers. Thanks for watching!
I noticed sometimes the chainsaw stopped while cutting deep inside, is that because the chainsaw was weak and struggling or it was you stopping it?
