@@vexmythoclast9476 I mean you can get Ergo Sum with the same Wave Frame sword frame and a number of exotic perk options for solar. Sure you don't have specifically incandescent but you can still have a solar wave. I have one with Perfect Fifth but honestly it's not that good on that frame due to not really effectively triggering the perk on the wave most of the time. A solar wave frame with Gjallarhorn's perk though should be really good I imagine. I imagine Sacred Flame would probably be very good as well since you can release the wave to mark targets and then immediately follow up with the aerial light attack to make them explode. Not sure if that's better than the heavy > light combo making 4 wolfpack rounds though.
As someone with many, many hours on trinity, the only things that makes me pick trinity is A) you don't have to hit the target, you can just shoot the ground, B) it has bonus damage against redbars, C) you can't activate joltshot with arc damage from other sources, like abilities. That being said, on raids, gms, etc. where I wouldn't use trinity, this looks like a great alternative.
The only thing that makes trinity ghoul better is that you don't need to hit an enemy to activate the lightning effect. The fact that it's exotic does kind of balance that out though.
Will consider it for gms if bow in artifact. I myself am addicted to higharchy and everyone sleepying so heavily on it for no reason. It was as good as lance last season
Im not sure but my guess is archer tempo is much better . The only thing i cant rwmember is the amp fire reload multiply reduce because we dont care at all about getting 100 reload on bows. Its caped at like 70 so if u craft it all in to reducee draw time+ handling&reload arrow your hittin that cap . Than use a reload mod and there you go. I dot think amp fire will do better
Bows max out reload around 72 reload. You can get there with reloader mods on your arms. Impulse only grants 20 reload and the velocity is useless on a fully drawn arrow. Archers tempo is so much better as it gives a draw speed scalar and not a stat buff like impulse. You’re doing players a disservice by recommending that shit perk.

It's just always active all the time. No one is going to notice the difference between Archer's tempo and impulse amplifier
i feel like this bow is the equivalent of zaouli's bane to sunshot but for tghoul instead. i 100% wanna grab this pattern and i have wanted to ever since i saw it on the loot table
Just do the final encounter on lfg get a carry. There also a firefly incandescent pulse rifle called nullify that can drop. Happy hunting, get out there and play. Use the team finder in destiny, I've got some sick drops
I'm really curious how good this roll would be on Titan with Thruster and Hazardous Propulsion running the Call and a Rocket Launcher as your other weapons. Boosting your thruster cooldown so you can fire off the rockets and buff your other 2 weapons more often sounds really strong in theory.

Chaos Reshaped COULD be better for end game content if you somehow didn't have weaker enemies to kill and trigger voltshot. It provides 20% damage after 12s and 35% after 24 which is pretty massive for what is essentially a "free" to activate damage perk. I'm a bit curious if strategist could be viable on a Titan build with Hazardous Propulsion and using the Call as your other weapon, if it provides a significant boost to your ability uptime for more frequent rockets and buff uptime. What I'm really curious about on this bow is the how impactful the Origin Trait is. I believe it's suppose to increase draw time when near teammates so that could be quite strong on a bow if the draw time boost is significant. I can't decide if it's good or bad that this is a weapon that will actually benefit quite a lot from having an Adept roll instead of the standard crafted version. The ability to run a draw time mod is really strong now that we no longer have spec mods BUT that requires you get the right perk combo AND the right masterwork on the adept drop. Otherwise the draw time mod just counteracts the lack of a draw time masterwork. It's also possible you can't even stack all the draw time buffs if you also have Archer's Tempo in the first perk slot.
My first drop I got the bow with Archer's tempo and the new perk Chaos reshaped, 12sec is a 20% damage and 24sec it goes up to 35% damage, draw time master work.
I want to do the raid but I can’t deal with the incompetence laziness and impatience of the lfgs nower days people just don’t want to learn,do rolls and they don’t stick around long enough to build any team chemistry
I love trinity ghoul due to the lighting rod perk having no timer and also still activating after stowing and redrawing the bow. Can’t do that with Voltshot unfortunately
I mean considering volt shot actually does something to champions unlike Trinity Ghoul... Unless Bungie adds jolt to Trinity Ghoul it's better to get a volt shot bow
I got it with Archers Tempo and Voltshot and one with Dragonfly+OFA. I think Dragonfly gets buffed by OFA and it also proccs it. Fun combo too but it’s the Temu-version.
I don't know why Bungie takes so long to update these weapons with the subclass effects. The withering and explosion effects that started on other exotics need to be updated to 3.0 synergy. Like how Sunshot explosion effects didn't actually count as scorch or solar effects since it was intorudeced prior to 3.0. The same way they updated Levi Breath to actually use Volatility and Polaris to actually scorch as opposed to that random custom effect from before 3.0 was a thought. If Trinity Ghoul jolted, it's a wrap, especially considering you don't even need to hit the enemy for it to arc. Just hit the floor and everything would be jolted.
My math for chaos reshaped has x1 at 20% and x2 at 35% increased damage, I didn’t pay attention much to healing but it feels like 10 or 20 health every so often, didn’t time it. That’s on the pulse, not sure if it works differently on special vs heavy
One difference, though. Perhaps I'm wrong, but doesn't Trinity Ghoul's Lightning Rod proc from any arc kill? I think each has its own use and we might not want to discount either in the end.
Dragonfly x Voltshot on the LW Raid Hand Cannon is hilariously fun! Putting that combo on a Bow with the faster activation for Voltshot!? That's gunna be utterly broken good.
Ive been rocking Nation of Beasts (Last Wish handcannon) since the Final Shape dropped and it's fantastic. Dragonfly + volshot 🙌🏼 can't wait to get this bow.
I dont think trinity is as locked to lower level content as you think, it carried me through first encounter of contest Salvations Edge by sweeping the rooms. Trinity still one shot goblins at least at -25 power. Don’t diss it TOO much
You hab to get it tho, plus trinity synergises too jus not as much an in different ways, any arc kill procs it's arc shots which again, can proc off floor hits if enemies are close by, low end trinity is far better high end this could maybe be better
Overkill or not, I want the Dragonfly/Voltshot. All of my weapons/rolls where possible I try to go hard into the AOE elemental damage (dragonfly, firefly, headstone, chill clip, slice, threadlings, incandescent, voltshot, repulsor, destabilizing, etc.). While there may be better, more optimal perks, it's just so much fun to make "kabloo-ies".
For me there has to be a balance in aeo, cuz the fact that this bow leaves them mostly one shot right after the jolt dmg, makes it easier to keep to going or to jolt a big target and finish off the olready one shot targets so it chains more dmg but I agree with u lots of aoe dmg is very very fun Pd: you cound actually not go for voltshot and go with dragonfly and a dmg perk or the hip fire version of archers tempo(are hers gambit) for even more draw time with one hip fire headshot and almost 8 seconds with can add up to like 15 (it think) and still do massive adclear

i got a roll of chaos reshaped on the smg. its a 35% dmg buff after about 20-30 seconds and the healing is prob every 10 seconds and its about a quarter of health restored but i could be wrong
I got lucky with dragonfly + voltshot and I love it. Dragonfly helps finish off a few enemies that just about survive the voltshot jolt. It’s just a ton of fun.
In the craftening, voltshot wasn't considered to be possible to be on a bow, and what happened if you put voltshot on a crafted bow, the reload took a lot of time to proc and it felt inconsistent, i was scared that if that ever became possible on a non glitched bow, that it wouldn't proc correctly, thankfully it does, now I'm not going to care I'm using my deepsights for this weapon

Jolt stuns champs innately too (which you mention at the end) so you trade less coverage and actually having to aim at targets (plus a little bit less innate damage vs minors) for antichamp, ability to use a special/Heavy Exotic, higher tier content viability and some perks on the side.

The jolt kills don’t count on the weapon kill counter. Kinda dumb
they should upgrade trinity to leave surviving enemies hit by its chain to be jolted

always dreamed of a voltshot bow. I really didn't think we'd ever get it.
The raid bow also actually synergizes with arc unlike trinity ghoul so thats something.
My question is will dragon fly create a new chain for volt shot on things it damages
