Told you it will take two years this time XD
This is a tribute to the orbital drop shock troopers of the Halo franchisea staple since their first mention in the official CE prequel novel "Halo The Fall of Reach". the most proficient and effective non-enhanced soldiers in the UNSC, they are the daredevil heroes of conventional humanity, showing just what an ordinary human being is capable of.
I tried something a little with this, utilising lyrical music as opposed to purely instrumental. Though the song "Vokuro" is not about war, I felt that its tone and focus on the down to earth concerns of farming, land and family made it suitable to portray the intensity and grit of the ODST life. My choice of second soundtrack, is by comparison self-explanatory ha ha.

I think Halo is the perfect depiction of Humanity if we reached space travel.
eehhhh, I don't know about that. The Halo setting has plenty of human infighting. I'd point more to something like Star Trek for truly optimistic future. but hey, it could be worse. Humanity is doing way better than the Halo than it is in the 40K setting.

well, at least they get included at 8:04. The Canon ones at least. a couple of the fan films I used to depict the ODSTs during the fall of reach.
but yeah, they had a really bad time.
