Just finished all 20 episodes this later afternoon. What an excellent series and I hope we get a lot more. Every episode was filled with fun and excitement.
Same! It felt like real trek somehow even though its a kids show. The art style is perfect and the plot is awesome. Plenty of technobabble too.
Should have brought back TAS environmental belts for the underwater whale scene--no need for air masks...
Super invested after the first 5 episodes. Some better than others, some of the jumping around in time was so confusing that me and my father questioned how children would understand it. BUT, that being said, thank you to Netflix for picking this up. Absolutely deserves to be seen. And i saw a TOS accurate Connie in there! Hell yes
Prodigy really captures the optimism and wonder of old Trek.
I can actually watch this with my daughter as opposed to Disco or SNW.
I didnt know there are episode titles, on Netflix they were just shown as Episode 1, 2, 3, etc
They also have the titles on Netflix. At least written in the opening credits.
Personally I thought chakotay thought that these people were obviously star fleet and might be time travelers and he didn't want to deal with the time police and get a headache
Finished the season, actually pretty good.
It didn't feel to me like it was time-travellers doing repairs, but the pit full of intelligent alien biometal
WIll prodigy wind up explaining why Chakotay is absent from the 25th century?
Love the show hoping for season 3. Am at episode 10 theres lots more to come.
Have to say im disappointed at Voyager-A. The design is, to me, a bit pedestrian with nothing about it being distinctive. It just looks like the love-child of the original Voyager and Enterprise-E. Even the deflector dish looks identical to the original Voyager's one. The inside is to grey and metal and there arent many visual points of interest even on the bridge. The bridge itself feels very small and too small for a ship of that size.
I dont get a sense of scale for Voyager either but hopefully at some point in the season we will get Voyager and the Protostar in the same shots so we can understand its scale a bit better. The Dauntless was huge in comparison to the Protostar.
There are one or two shots of the hull where they are a lot more detailed that the long shots and it looks better but I'd have preferred more colourful or at least more contrast-y interiors.
Sad it's on Netflix, and not CTV Sci-fi channel... bravo
So I’ve watched ahead and I guess it seems like those kids doing that dumb stuff was very helpful to the solution of this problem so maybe you should think about what you say about peoples actions before you know the outcome

We had already filmed for around 3hrs of content on the first 4 episodes, before we did the public first reaction! :)
First statement negative about the kids being dumb. This show is for kids you know as well as for adults.
