Weather Impact Alert Days: Dangerously hot conditions for Friday and Saturday

A prolonged heat wave will continue across the Southwestern United States with afternoon high temperatures climbing and peaking on Friday and Saturday more than 10 degrees above normal for inland San Diego County. A ridge of high pressure will amplify along the California coast and allow for intense warming that will continue to bring the hottest temperatures to our county's mountain and desert microclimates.
