yeah we forgot to grade she second angle in the conclusion :)
The Music is mind blowing.
I’m a Wodan boy trapped in an old man’s body stuck in New Jersey.
@@tphvictims5101 hahaha thank you so much
@Josh Shorey It looks like a nice knife but I can't pull the trigger on it yet.
I'd like to see u guys do some testing on the condor knives especially some of their Machetes !!!!
Hi guys I like to see on test the Helle Nord 🙂🙂🙂
9:24 Me when my morning ritual makes me late to work.
All I want, is the DBK folder....and eventually the DBK chopper!! 😃😃
Yesss the chopper indeed!!!
@@kevinAuman1 Yes a cross between a Skrama & Storm Vector!
Hey Guys, if you like Magnacut, and the Cross-bar type lock > Check out the Hogue "Deka" knife. Not a beastly knife with a knife-steel stock of ~2mm, but from reviews it's seems to be an absolute lightsaber in cutting performance.
Ja. But maybe not the wierd "tanto" blade with the secondary tip in the middle. They offer two different blade types
They need to make a bigger one. If it were 3.5 it would be near perfection.
@@Abaddon5850
You want a Doug Ritter.
Might be a good knife, but the looks of the Deka turn me way.
@@J.sh_CDN Me too honestly. But some may like it. Would love to see a Bugout with such a thin blade and Magnacut. (Other than a unicorn aftermarket one)
Thanks for filming guys! 👍😁👍😁
This is my only knife channel because Mikkie and Martin are the best. Best wishes from Seattle 🇺🇸
Bugout vs. Hogue Deka in Magnacut would be very interesting!
Glad to see folders back in the content. ❤
I'd love to see a review of the griptillian from Benchmade... It's an older model but probably my favorite of the brand for folders at a sort of budget price.
"If I would've dared to whack it harder, I would've saved myself a minute easily" - Mikkie, 2023
Best comment ever lol
It might be a good knife, but the pricing of the James Brand in general is hilariously over the top, even compared to the Butterfly tax. I'll take a Ritter Hogue every day of the week, and twice on Sunday.
Or hell, a cold steel.
I own a couple James products. Super high quality. But the price is just too much to justify.
Really need to try one of those Ritters out. Currently have both Benchmade Freeks, the s30v and m4, so I like the blade shape, but would like to support Ritter himself
@@J.sh_CDN I love my Benchmade "Super" Freek in M4. Tough as nails. Just for fun, I chopped down a 4 inch poplar tree with mine while waiting for a cab at work. The railroad was going to chop down anyway.
At almost $400 US it better be good. The Hogue is awesome and less than half the price. M390 is no slouch.
now also in Magnacut too
I’d get the Hogue Deca in Magnacut all day over this James knife. It’s overpriced.
I can say from experience that they are not worth their extremely inflated pricing.
You can get the deka in magnacut for like $120
Have you guys seen the Morakniv lok, wit and finn knives?
You guys are THE GREATEST!!! I enjoy your videos over all others. Thank you.
Never heard of James brand but I do now. It's a beauty.
Thanks for all your good work and the entertainment that comes with it.
Knife looks sick.
Hello Mikkie and Maarten, great vids guys! IG had a funny: A parent tells their child to "you'd better check that attitude"! Without a pause the child replied "for product concerns, please contact the manufacturer"!!!🤣 Hope that all's well with everyone/thing! Keep up the good work, until next time. Be safe and take care, "God Bless", sincerely, Randy. 🙏😇👊
hahaha!
😆
Great video as always! This is the only channel I stay up for to catch right as new videos drop.
I would love to see you review the Demko AD20S if you could get your hands on one
Yall are such a great channel!!
We need a Hogue Deka vs Benchmade Bugout showdown!!!
Use both blade shaped available with the Deka!
Nice Maaartin guitar! It was thoughtful of you to put your besties name on the headstock 😊
James Brand has always been hipster hype. This one looks better and I’m glad to see one that’s not made in china….Nobody really comes close to touching Spyderco in production folders when it comes to sheer performance, steel options, heat treat mastery, geometry, etc. they are the masters. You guys rock as always. Rock on. 🤘
Totally agree. Spyderco simply got it figured out when it comes to knives you will actually use. Price is also more reasonable imo. They might not appeal to everyone with how their knives look, but they got some of the best ergonomics for sure!
Good “Knife Off”,Thank You DBK
Love you, guys!!! The outro is for me I believe, if not, I will take it anyway! 😏😏💥💥Cheers!
Guys, I’m a big fan of your videos and you guys, you crack me up, very creative and great reviews. Before I give my opinion, I have BenchMade Knives and I love them especially my mini and regular Bugout’s. Now, when it comes to being tough, I believe Cold Steel has BenchMade beat with some folders, even the budget Cold Steel Engage with the Atlas Lock. I carry my Engage more than any of my knives, even over my BenchMade’s, Civivi’s, Spyderco’s, etc…just my opinion tho, and you know what they say about opinions - 😂
That's a sweet knife! As always, great video.
That is one fine guitar Mikkie
Super content as always. As for a suggestion what to check out in the future: how about a comparison of a v-edge to a convex to a chiselgrind?
demko ad20.5 3v or spyderco pm2 cruwear would be folders I'd love to see you test
Y'all need to get a Demko AD20 on the channel...finding one is an issue though.
You guys HAVE to test the new Mora's once they're available!!!!!!!! Would be absolutely awesome to see :D.
Mind me asking what the new moras are? I haven't heard anything new from them recently other than seeing a picture of a full tang kitchen and bushcraft knife in cardboard packaging
I am buying the james now!
Dont. You'd be over paying. They are all over charging everyone for what your getting. Plus they are hipsters. Don't support hipsters.
@@AdoboJustLikeDope that is marked up much higher than it should be.
DONT
Good job on the pushups, I agree with a lot of the commenters about the price of knives today from all these manufactures. No mass produced knife should be over $200.00.
Test out the Buck Odessa - I want to see what it can hold out. I have heard good about it.
I Love my Benchmade Knives, made in the USA and probably the best Customer Service of any Knife maker with Microtech second but I like my Hogue better Lol here lately. The James Brand is made in the PRC I think. You guys stay safe, Semper Fidelis
I got rid of mine and will never buy another Benchmade after they were caught chopping guns up for the left coast establishment. Too bad more people dont know about that...
I'd love to see the Esee Izula (or Izula 2) tested by you guys. That little fixed blade claims so much, but what can it actually do? :D
Please do a video on anything magna cut or even an announcement video of the dbk knife coming in magna cut!
Favorite part of your folding knife reviews is hearing Martin say "wiggle" with the Dutch accent.
Nice Martin Mikkie!!
Have you guys done the demko ad20.5 yet?
Amusing.
Make more folder Videos please. Das ist ein Befehl!
11:44 I replayed this way too many times that I lost count 😂
Magnacut looks so awesome. I hope to get a magnacut knife some day in the future
You guys should do a work tuff gear knife. Joe X just tested one, they are awesome!
Great vid guys, as usual......hey I can easily do 70 push ups (ahem, in a year).
I'm not a particular fan of folding knives but the James looked fab - I'm so clumsy, I'd lose fingers doing tougher tasks with a folding knife
I have a couple of Opinel, a couple of SAK - and a K390 steel Spyderco......the SAK on my key chain gets 99% of the use - so easy to resharpen.
Keep up the good work, have a nice weekend - we're getting an Arctic blast apparently in the East of England.....you may get some snowman opportunities your way too!
Curious why you chose the Bugout instead of the Super Freak M4 to go against the James Brand Kline? Entertaining video as always. Keep up the good work.
Would you try the Demko fixed blade?
I got a marbled carbon fiber hogue deka in magnacut for $200. The regular with G10 and magnacut is like $130.
Want a crossbar lock? Get the Hogue.
Nice one boys I have 5 benchmade folder and there all great
Good review, and nice guitar skills, Mikki!
when you baton with a folding knife, you should fold the handle parallel with the wood (90 degree bend between handle and blade)
The Kizer Escort is virtually identical and 171.00 in 20 CV.
Awesome vid as always! Review a bark river aurora scandi with magnacut! That would be cool
They broke a brk in MagnaCut long time ago. Because of chimpings, I believe
I would love to get your guy's opinion on the Condor heavy duty kukri
4:15 - Thats funny, on their website they literally have pictures of doing that as part of their marketing for the knife 😂
I'm really surprised they didn't use the Flytanium Bugout with M390 steel instead of the CF Elite S30V.
Yeah I questioned that a little bit. Especially since the price would be similar
Finally some MagnaCut. You're doing goooood, bois. My only MagnaCut folder is the acta non verba A100, it's a flimsy piece of Art. The lock is reverse engineered from the axis lock, but I wouldn't dare to baton w/it. Why purchased it for 208€ in the first place? Most be some kind of blade addiction
Hogue is making the Deka in Magnacut for about $135 USD. I'd be curious to see you guys run that one through the paces...
02:22 Glad to see you changed your mind about the glove. ✌️🍻
I wouldn't mind seeing more small edc fixed blades I have a bark river mountaineer 2 in cruwear that's amazing and small enough to fit in my pocket with no issues.
Yes! I agree. I have a lionsteel m1 in m390, and it is a perfect alternative to a folding knife. Love small fixed blades for edc.
Found one of these knives on the dock when I went fishing the other day
Just buy the Hogue Deka in magnacut for 120 on sale. Bugout destroyer.
I could just about buy a DBK knife, TRC etc for less. Almost 2 Benchmade bugouts. One of those is nicer in the pocket as well. Thanks for the review. It is good to see knife makers making new things and guiding the market in good ways. Still waiting for Magnacut to "takeoff".
May I ask where you are located?
Nice D28 modern deluxe! “….now i’m broke” 😂
I like how you move the JAMES knife rearwards when cutting the paper and not the BENCHMADE
What's up with that budget DBK knife?
I finally got myself a Magnacut blade, had to be sub 3" and non-locking so I could actually carry it so my options were severely limited. Went with a Tactile Knife Company Bexar in bronze and it's definitely not fit for survival tasks, very slim and pocket friendly.
I’d like to see you guys do some testing of one of Reiff Knives models in 3V
How about some hunting knives in future reviews - lightweight knives for backpacking that hold an edge well around bone. I know it's not your primary focus, but I think you guys would do a good job with it and provide valuable information.
have yall done a destruction test using a smaller cold steel knife? i wonder if the tri lock mechanism will substantially outlast even the stronger folders, especially in the "large edc" or "small survival" knife size bracket
Might be interesting to see. We have yet to break the tri-ad lock
Would you ever check out Svord Peasant Knives?
What gloves are you wearing during the baton segment?
Mechanix
I would love to see you guys test a chris reeve inkosi.
Hilarious as always! Please test the CRKT Clever Girl folder; I want to see the deadbolt lock slaughtered.❤️🔥
Could you guys please test the Tops BOB bushcraft folder?
Is that an Epiphone les Paul in the background or a Gibson?
I’d like to see the LT Wright Genesis model put through the paces
Review the Kukri from GGK. I use it camping as my primer knife.
I dont like folding knives...lol...good show, I watch you guys every Thursday. Great job.
"If you dare to whack it harder", you will Save at least a minute Easily! Love you guys lol.
hahahahahaha!
LT WRIGHT GNS OR GENESIS OR GARRY WINES I NEED THE REVIEW
Why not compare it to the 535BK-4, which is closer in price? It would do at least as well as the Kline.
As always, a cool video guys. I would like to see you test a FOX Knives RYU. I know it's not a typical bushcraft knife, but that's why I'd be interested to see how it performs as a bushcraft knife. And it just looks phenomenally good.(from my point of view).
I'm not really understanding wy te comparison to the bugout out of all benchmade knives..? It's a lightweight edc knife. So many better options to compare to. Like the freek, or something a bit larger and meant for heavy use.
Zouden jullie alsjeblieft de Bradford Guardian 4.5 en 5.5 willen reviewen?
You boys are fenomenal! A see yor videos weekly from Tijuana, México. Please do tests on TOOR KNIVES. Field 1.0 and Field 2.0
Hey I know folders aren’t really the point of your channel but could you do an episode putting the Demko knives ad20 or ad20.5 to the test. Love you guys!
I appreciate that you guys do full pushups and not the cheaty 3cm drop that many people to do to "show off" how many pushups they can do.
If the Cold Steel Lawman had the same lock it would be so good.
Nice Martin guitar
Ummmm the magnacut Hogue Deka is $150.... do that one hehe.
it's actually a pretty crazy good deal. I dont like the looks but would love to check it out
@Dutch Bushcraft Knives I bet they would send you one! Especially in a 1v1 fight with a bugout lol.
Ohh another folder!
How about a hogue deka, cheaper option, same steel, and same type of lock
really great value but not my aesthetic. I dont like the looks at all but can't beat that price I think
Agreed! And Hogue is rumored to make the best and strongest implementation of the Axis Lock after the Benchmade patent ran out. So much that other knife companies are commissioning Hogue to do their cross-bar/Axis/Able locks for them.
All the more reason to "let" the Bugout beat it in a showdown!!!
I've argued that the Benchmade Adamis is week compared to my 154cm griptilian, and my m4 super freak, batoned with all 3 and only the adamas failed on me
Try the wander tactical mistral folder. It's a beast
Pls do a review of either Boker or Civivi knives
I absolutely love my bugout in m390. No regrets even for the price.
The bugout price isn't bad. It's still higher than it should be, considering it's just a 531 Pardue in new clothes, but it's still pretty affordable.
the bugout alluminium so bloody gorgeous. One of my favourites of all time for sure
@@DutchBushcraftKnives It's action is so smooth, it's addicting. I sharpen mine weekly and find any excuse to pull it out. The weight, those thumbscrews, and the confidence I have wielding it. It replaced a mini griptillian, which served me well but was just serviceable. I can't imagine what will it take to replace the aluminum bugout in my pocket.
