You make it look all so easy. Absolutely brilliant. Breathtakingly beautiful. You draw us there. I am there now, I can almost hear the waves and smell the sea, and feel the Breeze. Amazing. I can't help but Envy your talent. LOL thank you Andrew.
Thanks Andrew, great capture of nature doing her thing
Beautiful landscape and painting! Thanks for taking me along.
Really good Andrew. You are so professional in all that you do. Excellent work!
YES!!! Awesome post Andrew. You've always been my seascape Yoda.
I usually do my portraits using colored pencils but your videos made me want to try oil paints. You are definitely inspiring, great videos indeed.
Thank you! always pick up pointers from you which, even if just a little tip, add so much:)
As always, great video Andrew. Interesting fact about yellow in the distance. Thanks! greetings from Argentina
So amazing! 😢🙏
Awesome video as usual, really appreciate the split screen showing the colour mixing, always my favorite, can't wait for the next one 👍👍
Thanks so much mate!
Wow..amazing! Seascapes are my favorites. Thanks for sharing your wonderful talent! Take care& God bless.
Amazing ❤️
Artful blend of “why” and “how.” Much appreciated!
As usual, you are just wonderful as you, a 'real' artist, take your precious time to show us, as want-to-be artist, how to paint! Thank you!
هذا عمل صعب و عظيم حقاً .. شكراً لك استاذي
I think you are THE BEST teacher BY FAR on the internet and I have watched A LOT of them.
Love this video! You NEVER disappoint! I haven't painted using oils since I was in college many years ago but you inspire me to give it go. Thank you for all your hard work and enthusiasm! You're a great teacher.
That reflection on the creek is stunning, i love the rocks effect and warmth... the slight green in the rock is so subtle... your voice is as soothing as your brush strokes... your description is crystal clear... blessings thank you
Andrew I really appreciate your willingness to share your knowledge and skill. Love the enthusiastic, articulate manner.
Really appreciate all you do for us home painters. Thank you for your commentaries. And you're so talented.
Hey mate, stunning painting and great video 🙂
Thanks bud! :)
I'm always trying to figure out how to put enough shapes into that giant mountain, I have a tendency to get lost along the way, it seems you have the ability to simplify this, but to give plenty of shape with the light and dark values. I appreciate being able to watch a master, thanks for sharing.
Yes, they say the more complex the mind, the more play and creativity are important on any level, they go together. That’s what we humans are after all isn’t it. To be happy and healthy we must be free to express ourselves and learn about who we are within our environment. Art is very personal, an reflection of our midden mind, emotional expression of self within. It takes so many different motor-skills between eye and hand it’s something akin to music. When it works, it resonates and uplifts and even heals. No other animal that we know of, can express themselves openly in this beautifully delicate intricate way. That’s what makes the Masters paintings so irreplaceable. They speak for what we are. Art has always been with human development since the cave paintings which are perfect in their own way.
Thank you so much Andrew, brilliant presentation, you never disappoint!!
Hey Andrew, Another amazing tutorial ! God bless you and Rachael for taking your time in making such great videos for all of us lucky Recipients!
As always your work is really impeccable, but I never notice before that you mix colors with left hand but you paint always with the right, it is so curious
Love your work. Your a great teacher. I have a loads of notes in my book. Thank you for you videos.
Beautiful place to paint in. Great tutorials always learn so much from you. Thanks for sharing your knowledge ♥️😁
I really like the fact that the painting has that empty space in front - very daring hehe
Thank you for the awesome video - I learn more than one thing :) For instance that chair is genius and that yellow is reserved for the foreground, where as I have heard the saying 'the warm tones for the foreground', which makes some paintings very dull and cold in the background because of no 'warm' at all.
Hugs from Denmark
Andrew, how does painting with sunglasses on affect your sense of color and light? I can’t do it.
Thank you Andrew Sir. Watching you, gives me the confidence to paint. Thank you again for sharing the detailed videos absolutely free. God Bless You and your family. Warm regards.
Hey mate, more on the way!!!
Nice video as always Andrew, appreciate the time that goes in to making them - just curious why always the hat?
This is definitely the place to pick up the tips for creating depth and contrast in outdoor paintings. Such cool detail on the canvas size I use for most of my own paintings. Bravo!
It is a beautiful place you live in. Thank you for sharing this with us.
I do plein air paintings for my references only and not as finished products of any kind. Do you think 5-6 dagger brushes are enough to capture any kind of scene? Maybe just one extra detail brush and one rough splayed filbert for the trees and foliage along with daggers?
Thank you for your videos, I can't describe how much I take from them! You've hugely influeced my work...
Hope all is cool with Australia fires out. I know you guys are in NZ, but I'm sure it had a major stress factor. Great video as always!
You're awesome!
AWSOME ARTIST-YOU ARE SUCH A NICE PERSON ANDREW,...THANKS FOR SHARING YOUR WORK..HOWEVER I RESPECT YOUR WORK.THANKS.MARIUS
Beautiful work Andrew! Thank you.
awesome ..... i have learned many things from your every videos
thanks for your time to time support
Very nice video, easy to understand and learn from. I'm quickly becoming a fan.
Hi Andrew, loved loved this one. I wonder if you could make a short video , using this one because you do the great split screen with color mixing, to go further in explaining how you use the medium. Im still trying to figure out how much Liquin Original to use in each layer. Also, in this video, did you use Liquin exclusively or did you mix in anything else in the top layers. Is it ok to build up a painting with all Liquin? As a self taught painter, this remains a mystery and I would so appreciate your help. You are my biggest influence and you inspire me to keep learning all the time. Thank you!!
Hey Carol, maybe check out my video on mediums... Have you seen that one? I think it will explain this concept better.
First time viewer and I learned so much,
thank you for posting, you are an amazing artist and teacher. Wishing good things for you.
Andrew, Thank you for taking the time to explain and teach techniques of painting. I have gotten so much from your videos and try to apply the lessons to my very humble attempts at painting.
Very informative video as always and a great little painting.
I live in Pembrokeshire which has a fantastic coastline too.
Will definitely be getting my en plain air gear out soon
Regards Tim
Really great tips on how to show depth with color. Learned a lot from this video. Thanks!!
Hi Andrew as ever another fantastic little painting. I love watching the way you build it up and find it very informative and inspirational, Makes me want to have a go just wish we had such fantastic subject matter. Regards Shirley
Thank you Shirley!
Beautiful Andrew 😊❤️❤️
Which Pochade box do you have, just been looking at them , they are NICE! Love this video, as usual !
I have 3: the Blackfoot, the Blackfoot lite and the Yellowstone... My favourite is the Blackfoot. Love it!
You inspire me so much. I thank you for what you do.
Really liked this video Andrew! Especially seeing the insight of your painting after you brought it in the studio and went over it, showing the colors you used and your creative process.
Your painting inspired me to make a rough hilly seaside painting
Great lesson. Thank you this will help me so much.
Hi Andrew, thank you for this video once again..a beautiful lesson..!To me personally one of your best en plain air videos..😀I particularly loved the first day sky..it looked so nice and soft..but it might have been your studio light that sharpened it up a bit more ..learned a lot again ..thank you so much!😀
Thanks from Croatia..!😀
Thanks Ingrid!
I really Love the SketchEndeavor Episodes..!! I hope you continue them. 👊😎
I just want to thank you for such a lesson...👍👍

It's interesting to see you working. So accurate, and the result is exciting. Thank you
Andrew, you make it look sooo easy.....certainly due to a combination of natural talent, commitment and hard work. Absolutely exquisite!!
As always Andrew your work is beautiful with clear and helpful explanations. I also liked the more overcast version of this scene. Thanks again.
Thank you Andrew.l really enjoyed this video as I am struggling with my mountains.Very helpful indeed.looking forward for next.Bless you.
Picked up some more handy tips to work on in the studio today. Thanks Andrew
Woah! Watching 17 minutes felt like 5 minutes! Can I just say I love the intro and your detailed and informative commentary? There is so much hard work and dedication put in going to the location, recording, painting, coming back to the studio and producing this whole video that has not gone unnoticed. Your artistic skills and dedication is much admired Mr. Tischler. The painting is simple yet lively and captures the beauty of the location well.
What an incredible experience for you and for us as viewers. Painting on a beach sounds like one of the most difficult things to do. I am at amazed at how well you did in such a short amount of time. Thank you for taking the time to produce such a high-quality, informative video. Excellent 🌊 💜
Dear Andrew, no one compares to your artistry and beautiful videography of your superb channel! Wow!!! Keep that Split screen! The explanation of yellow usage, the brush type and size, the armchair, all so helpful!!! As it would be fantastic to be like you, I strive to be the best lil old me can do, and you get me excited andhelp me soooo much to do that!!!! Well done! Thank you Andrew and Rachel!!!!
Thanks you Angela! That's right, no one does YOU like YOU! :)

Hi Andrew haven't tried painting out side yet but cannot wait to give it a go.The weather isn't to good though at the moment hear in England.
I have a video of painting on top of a ridge in deep snow... That video is coming out soon! Hopefully it will inspire some winter paintings. :)
As always, a beautifully done painting, great video! Thanks for all your tips and tricks that make your work so incredible.

Love your art work and the way you explain us your technique ,Andrew. Thanks for sharing with us all!!
Amazing as usual Andrew.I have not painted for a few months due to life getting in the road, but will push myself very hard to get back to painting, you have inspired me again and somehow or other I will do it, I will do it, I will do it for sure, but in the studio only.👍❤️❤️
Oh go on Rosemarie! Get into the field and bust out a plain air study! You'll love it! :)
Unreal Andrew! A perfect help for what I'm working on now! Thank you.
Finally u showed the colors on your palette and how you mix them. 😏
Hi Andrew from Wales in the UK! I never stop being amazed at how much info you give us in such a short video! Incredible how the right colours can change a cloudy dull day into a bright one! Thanks again for the in valuable advice! Looking forward to the next video!
Cheers Sarah!
Man!
You are a magician.
One moment I am looking at just paint, the next moment I see a world emerging, with depth, a history and secrets of its own.
I know it is all in my head, but you are making it happen!
Thank you for that.
I haven't tried painting plein air yet, but after seeing several of your videos doing it, I think I may have to give it a go. Good stuff.
I still have a hard time painting en plein air. I just figured out switching from canvas to (properly) primed wood panels. You make plein air look easy, although for those of us who have tried, we know it isn't. When I look at my own timelapse videos I see things go fast and then I remember the struggle I felt when solving the different parts. I guess I need more plein air painting. I wish I had more time. Anyway, cool video, as always! Thank you for making these videos :)
Hey Ariel, the more you do it, the better and easier it gets. Just get stuck in mate and don't worry how they turn out! Thanks so much for the comment. :)
Love seeing the actual color mixing, thank you, Andrew! Well done.
Que gran don del cielo...
How do you paint with sun glasses on?
Thank you so very much for all your explanations, demonstrations and your hard work as well. All too often I get ahead of myself and want to paint details along the way and it gets me into a frustrated state. I've got so much work to do and so much to learn! Thank you again.
Thank you again for teaching us! Beautiful painting Question: !How can you paint with sunglasses? Does it help you? :)
I dare you, I double dare you to do a seacape just with a pallett knife ... :) great piece by the way ...!
hey Andrew i love your paintings, i appreciate your paintings style on the way you build your colours up and how you also paint in dept. As you said in your last video about painting water i am looking forward to a painting with the focal point of water, thou i am an acrylic painter
I appreciated your explanation of your use of yellow in the mountains. I had no idea. Beautiful work!
Beautiful work Andrew, your eye for detail is second to none.
Cheers Daniel!
Amazing video! Your an excellent teacher! The split screen colour mixing is a brilliant addition. Keep them coming!! 😁
I learned a lot by giving a detailed explanation. Thank you for making this video
Another inspiring wonderful video that makes one want to give it a go! It's great that you provide it for free, but seriously I'd buy short 1 hour demos from you anytime. I have your longer videos, but this is accessible as a beginner painter and gives me a high bench mark for setting artistic goals. I have so many videos that simply don't provide your high quality painting and tutorials that inspire me to say I can do that! (okay, maybe not at your master level, but it's an awesome journey to try to get there :)
Hey Vicky, I think you're going to like what's in store for this year. I am working on a few ideas that will make it easier for the beginners. I appreciate your comment. :)
Man, these videos intros have really evolved! For anyone who hasn't checked out Skillshare, go check it out. It's really an awesome platform.
You noticed! Thanks mate! :)
Ish ish ish...marvellous
Love your enthusiasm, thanks once again for info.
As usual, a very interesting learning experience for us from your awesome tutorials.. Thanx a lot Andrew.. 🥰🙏😊
A good seascape, perfect !
You are a great professional! The studio is just super. The artist’s dream. Hello from overseas 😃
Andrew, your plein air videos are my favorite thing on all of UA-cam! I thought you had a stunning painting on the beach and then after you took it into the studio I was blown away at how I felt like I was standing on that beach when looking at the painting. I appreciate when you say how long your painting sessions take you. Thank you for everything you create!
Thanks Kristina! It's a pleasure. :)
Amazing as usual! Our local gallery is having a plein air contest so I am enjoying all these incredibly useful tips!
Im in love with your work. Keep it going!
