I saw Distant Coder's video, that "I'm playing a combo deck, whose win condition is calling a judge" is spot on accurate.
To be 100% fair, if it was pro-tourny legal, I'm sure that the higher echelons would get the interaction and scoop.
Of course, it is pretty fragible. So it wouldn't make it past the first time an enemy has a decent opening hand, but eh.

My guess is this is Auroradon Turbo with Chaos Max. Herald of the Arc Light searches for Ritual Monsters / Spells.
At the end you give them a useless token with Shiens Spy and hit them for 8000 with Chaos Max.

@@zaidabusaleem6427 Six Sam gateway variants can basically do anything - draw your whole deck, deal infinite damage, win with Phantasm Spiral Assault - but their combos are usually an Isolde starter + a card that holds Bushido counters. We don't need the second one of those.

Once again Mystic mind is not a bad card it's the fact that you refused to play spell and trap removal that is the problem. Also the fact that people are willing to play it as Konami intended is fascinating at this point.
@@kylelundgren5133 I'm not sure what you're talking about, I know to side in as much spell and trap card removal as possible when playing against mystic mine. Its still isn't fun to play against, which was the point of my comment
@@malikbeat this is the same excuse people always use for Mystic Mine. They expect you to ignore the rest of any existing decks to completely side for it and then also draw an out, which wont matter when it gets Solemned or they recur it back anyway
@@antwer1 Honestly, I'm convinced that the people who defend Mine have never played against it. "Just play spell and trap removal" Yeah, and what happens when they stack your deck and call your unsearchable outs with Prohibition?
A Mine game goes like this, they draw Mine and the stuff to defend it while you desperate try to draw the 6-9 cards you sided in only to never draw them because of RNG or Skuld, or you just walk over them because they didn't draw Mine. Losing to it sucks and winning is unsatisfying.

Note: a few months ago Konami changed rules regarding loops so the judge will simply send pole position to the gy and game continues... That being said if you just want to be annoying on duelingbook its quite effective

I believed for years that pole position was banned for this reason. I believed wrong
I should point out the way around this is eldlich, kaijus, ra sphere, lava golem, Santa claws, etc. Anything that destroys backrow or front without placing on board and summoning to your oppents field via trubutes
Pros: it teaches people to learn how to read
Cons: its a passive aggressive a way to teach people to learn how to read

Ruling question:
Let's say my opponent goes first, gets this combo out, and during my Draw Phase activates Pole Position. However, I have a non-removal chainable--let's say, Called by the Grave--in my hand. What I'm thinking is, as the conditions for the infinite haven't technically been met yet as Pole has yet to resolve successfully, I could still activate a card in response, so I could chain CbtG to its activation, banishing whatever. Then Pole Position resolves, but since there is still a card on my side of the field at that moment (since the CbtG won't leave the field until after the chain, i.e. Pole Position, has fully resolved), the infinite kicks in during that one moment, outside of either player's control, and therefore Pole Position immediately blows itself up by rulings. Am I correct about this, or would it play out somehow differently?
You are correct. Any chainable spell - regardless of what it does - does out the lock if used in response to the DP PP.

Last time i played a high level yugioh tournament was in 2016. Now i feel the urge to play this deck in a ycs and be responsible of half the judge calls during the whole event
This deck would be fine... if Konami didn't change the ruling so that Pole Position kills itself if it loops. This is why we should just use simulators. They've been getting this call right before it even became a ruling.

Play hiita.
Instead of making purgatrio first, keep bale on the field. Do gryphon stuff the link Gryphon and Bale into Hiita and then use Muddy effect to make purgatrio

Pole position can actually go to grave due to mandatory resolutions causing the loop to happen (Lair of darkness, mekk-knight purple nightfall)
This is the kind of deck that will get you sucker punched without warning
I use it in my deck, since pole position destruction happen only in videogames.
I equip a double edge sword on the one monster on the field and use pole position. So the opponent cannot atempt to summon any monster in that range of atk. And if he tried to do I'd want to call a judge claiming that my opponent attempted to make a loop with his play.

couple of things to add as well, since the needlefibre part of the combo became standard you can play hornet drones as another warrior summon, and i tend to think saruavis is better than dragged down in my experience

@@Habertod She's legal because she only negates monsters effects, every negate makes it easier to run her over, she punishes you for cheating her out instead of summoning her the proper way and finally she has no protection.
@@Habertod you're literally going - 3 if you use full materials or what most people do -2 list three materials at the end of the day you still nagged yourself during the course I'm summoning her and when she dies you don't get anything out of it unlike light and darkness dragon inarguably better card with a worse summoning condition quote in quote.
