Can you store a helmet in the F3 Frunk?

I was watching a Ryker Rides UA-cam video and she was comparing the Spyder F3 and Spyder RT. In the video she attempted to place a helmet in the F3 and the way it was placed it did not fit. My video shows that you can store your helmet in the frunk.

I got home forgot to check to see if it fit. As I'm walking out the door I remembered and I said, nope I'm not going to let it happen! I turned right back around and delayed my exit from the home just to make sure I checked to see if my helmet would fit! 😂 I put a video up and gave you a shout out 😊

Your F3 is beautiful! I just picked up a '14 ST Limited. Prior to purchasing I sat on other models and really felt the most comfortable on the ST's. I am not a big mileage person, just like to do short runs of 20-30 miles after work and I'm good.

@MrKmd27 Thank you. Most of my rides are, to, and from work. I've yet to do any real touring. I thought about buying an ST first. Just couldn't find the right one. Enjoy your Spyder! Ride safe.

Lol I've had my F3 for 5yr and I've never even put my helmet in it! Lol Now I gotta get home and try it! Mine is a XL

LOL. I have because I've stuffed my rear trunk with my work computer bag and other things so I had to put the helmet in there. I watched her and she didn't even try to put in the right way.

I have the Ryker . I can put both of my gloves in the frunk and close the lid . With enough room left for one sheet of tissue paper . I like the F3 and RT but I cannot figure out WHY Can Am doesn't make the side boxes larger ? The lean angle is not that big on the trikes !!!

Beth gets things wrong a few times. Now that being said if you have a comm system that clamps on to the helmet it might not fit in frunk unless you move the clamp towards the back of the helmet. I would also recommend a little microfiber rag placed over the visor to keep it from scratching the shield when you close lid.

@SIRyker if my helmet with the Sena 10C Pro clamped the helmet fits in the frunk, I would think most comm systems would. But it may depend on the size of the helmet.

@@chill62751 I hear ya , for me it was the bottom of the Sena 50 that kept it from fitting when it was mounted in the middle of the helmet . When I moved it towed the back it fit just fine go figure .

@Damiyon No, the saddlebags are not deep enough for a helmet.
