Oh Adams Probably not. Race mode has less traction management and it adds nothing in terms of performance.

Al Sig. Massimo Consorte suggerisco di recarsi in un concessionario Alfa Romeo e chiedere di provale la Giulia, anche la diesel con 150 cv è sufficiente. Siamo su un'altro pianeta ed almeno 20 anni avanti a tutte le mercedes, Audi e bmw che dir si voglia, ai quali peraltro abbiamo insegnato assieme agli inglesi a come si costruiscono le automobili. why did you put the soft suspension mode?
He is on the Autobahn in Germany and not on a racetrack. Many high performance cars are more stable in comfort modes at high speed because of bumps, holes or hills.
So I saw a very old Quadrifoglio at my school Friday, here to find out it was a 1986 Spider Quadrifoglio... to say I was kind of wondering what the car was... but then I saw the shark-tooth grille and I knew it was an Alfa.
Non ho mai saputo niente delle Alfa,e non è che finora mi hanno attirato l'attenzione,però oggi,mentre tornavo dalla spiaggia di Riva del Garda,ho avuto la fortuna di fare un giro con una Alfa Quadrifoglio ( 510 cv ) . Purtroppo,questo modello non te lo fanno guidare,però devo dire che anche come passeggero,il pilota mi ha fatto stupire di quello che può fare questa auto. Domani torno per provare la Giulia Veloce ( 280 ) ,sta volta guido io...non vedo l'ora . Complimenti agli ingegneri della Alfa .

P.S. Was the car stable at speeds? What the hell were you doing with soft suspension turned on while trying to do top speed?
The Autobahn unfortunately is not very smooth at 295 km/h..
AutoTopNL makes sense, but still, that soft mode, is for cruising, the dynamic would be the indicated, as it would adjust the suspension to the speeds and do it's trickery

why not it has a rev limiter for a reason, if alfa didn’t want you to go past they would’ve put the rev limiter at 6500 where the redline is

They say the Top Speed is 306km/h, but i'm not sure you can even get that on the speedo, let alone GPS.

+King Nassro Manuals are generally faster (greater top speed) because there is less weight to carry, and also less drivetrain loss.
Maybe in the 60s ? Nowdays the automatic gearbox is more refined and having 8 speeds helps a lot. The 6th here is quite long, it wasn't even at redline when doing 293km/h, with the 7th speed (which is for top speed in the auto) the car will reach 300 more easily. It will also accelerate faster, just look at the 7 seconds difference between the automatic Giulia and the manual one on the Nurburgring. If you'll watch the video you'll see that the automatic version made a huge mistake in the last fast corner.. so it can go even 2 / 2.5 seconds faster than that. Hope you've get my point of view
TheLOL4DUDE It's still true, and the difference depends of the type of transmission. In gear, the manual cars have better acceleration anyway because they're lighter.
The fact that it has 8 speeds doesn't mean that the gear ratio is better suited for top speed. In general, the 7th and the 8th are overdrives for fuel economy but pointless for performance driving.
For the most cars i've seen, the top speed was higher in the manual version, even if the acceleration, up to the top speed gear, is better with the automatic because well it shifts faster.
The Nurburgring argument is pointless for several reasons: first there is no actual video evidence of the first lap done by the car, second there is no spec for the first lap done by the car (it was pre-production), third how would a nurburgring laptime define a difference in top speed ?
And btw no, he wouldn't have get "2/2.5" seconds off of that. Maybe 0.2 lol. Plus i don't think the car in the lap was the same car they sell to the public, more like one with 50hp more, 100kg less, and some trofeo Rs.

Tires were stock for both the manual and the automatic. So here you are saying the opposite. Sliding in the middle of a fast corner of course takes away 2 seconds at least, at this point i guess, have you even saw the video of the laptime?... I suggest you to search better, and one last thing, i've already saied that 7th gear here is for high speed and 8th is for overdrive, so the automatic not only has a better gear ratio but also a higher top speed. Future videos will show you that bro. Oh and btw, the Panamera was the one without rear seats and rollbar cage. see ya LOL guy.

I thought only the throttle response, the shocks and the turning in is modyfied and not the engine power? Race modus on a straight line on legal streets is maybe not the best option.
