This is why I love this game. Underpowered cars can still fight despite the low power,. The weight and handling is what gets these cars succeeding in a lot of the events. Like I had gone through most of this game with a CR-X that has good power to weigh ratio. I'd highly recommend playing this with manual next time since the automatic transmission tends to get weird in this game. I'd also recommend checking the weight of the parts you equip on the car too. As stuff like body kits add weight, while new rims lowers it and etc.
That spoiler placement hurts me inside but all things considered it did really well. It really surprised me with how far it got despite the horsepower difference, just goes to show that a FWD meme car can still be used effectively in the right hands. Great video as always Dove, really liked the editing and commentary.
Did you know that if you mix and match the brands for performance parts you can get a bonus power from the performance parts which could push the Daihatsu to being powerful enough to take on the rest of the bosses!
That spoiler look absolutely out of place, but that body kit is the real deal. I'm not familiar with this game, but the replay angles gave me old gran turismo vibes.
That spoiler... hurts... Like so very much it hurts to see it like that. That said, I loved this game so much. Several of the videos I had on my old channel were runs of this. A truly underrated game that gave you so many options in how to approach the challenge.
Please do a "Can you beat TXRD2 with only Mazdas?" vid. Then maybe a EU only run? I've recently discovered you and DustinEden and I love the collab of you two with the randomizer!
@@ToyotaSPRINTERTRUENO1986koukiYou're explaining 99.99% of spoilers. They apply downforce to the chassis, which has to go through the suspension. Same as this. There are only a few cars ever that apply downforce directly to the tires through the chassis. In this case it's just applying downforce 50/50 front/rear.
@@jonathans.972 I suppose my original comment was too simplified. What I meant by it is that applying downforce in that region of the chassis was probably to minimal traction benefit as the downforce is being applied too far from both front and rear suspensions. Granted I'm not an expert in any way but it would seem to me that that's definitely suboptimal wing placement.
@@ToyotaSPRINTERTRUENO1986kouki Thank you for responding. I agree it would be suboptimal. Going with what you said, it would probably also alter steering in corners when the chassis is tilting forward and backward for braking and accelerating. Again, thanks for responding.
I can’t imagine how much I’d be seething if I blew all of my daddys money on a customised unique super car, put down a fat bet and get absolutely humiliated by a glorified mobility scooter

Id remove that wing for a tiny extra final speed. Nice video! There are more possible challenges possible on this game, including become a hired driver to use NPCs cars (friendship mechanics)
@@DoVe_7 I completely understand. The criteria or conditions for becoming friends of NPCs and even the limits of friends by playthrough are mostly speculative. Same as the nicknames, all I know is that if you have a long streaks of loses, appears a 🔰 (beginner driver badge) next to your nick.
Dove, it's hard to concentrate on the content when my brain goes into Missile Alert Nostalgia in the background. PS2 Arcade-Flight-Shooter Videos when?
Great run, I foolishly choose the AE86 as my starter car but it just wasnt competitive with, had to switch to the CRX. And this guy races with a Midget, its gets pretty fast fully tuned tho :) Great game, so many obscure cars to choose from, if only the economy would be better, stuff cost alot yen in this game... Also the great fat JDM legends ( 350Z, Chasers, Supra) are there but on these Touges they are just to heavy and clumsy to drive, would have been nice to also have some Wangan racing in the game to use these proper.

I'm gonna beat those 12 kingdom 13 devils and Slasher and Final Boss with Pink Yaris at the end of month
Pink Yaris Master Race
not even a challenge
Pink Yaris GR? XD

Midget 2 is RWD.
@@julianturberfield7101 I was always under the impression it was FWD, the way it understeered made me think that. Either way, Noted. 👍
Babe wake up, Dove has uploaded again
That Daihatsu will be remembered as a legend! Not much you can do against those starts with the long straights unfortunately. Great video buddy!
Now you gotta try this challenge Jak 🗣️👀

We need more TXRD2 content. Its soo much fun!
What Dove did is every gran turismo and Daihatsu enthusiast's dream, except he did it in another game
TXRD2 is almost like a GT game anyway
Midget Supremacy (nearly)!
That wing is so goddamn cursed though, Forza Aero finally has a challenger 😂
The spoiler on the Daihatsu is so cursed.

wasn't expecting Do or Die at 7:30, your taste in music is top shelf

Bro took on the racing scene with his dads pickup/company car
i love the spoiler, its right on the top where the most air is so pushes down the hardest too
Yeah, but that airflow is mostly useless as it doesn't really apply that downforce to any wheels...
@@ToyotaSPRINTERTRUENO1986kouki the shitbox only weighs 800kg, any downforce is better than none lol

7:10-7:12
I thought of this as the Daihatsu Midget Pog Car because of the front face.
Man that's hilarious. Imagine having a decked out NSX only to lose to a nobody with a utility vehicle
Rear- wheel- drive, mid- engined, center- driving- position: Even more like a McLaren F1 than a Toyota Previa :)
Yooo, shoutout to using Do It For Takumi from the Art of Rally soundtrack!
That spoiler probably provides more drag than down force 😂
Now this, this is a challenge.
Low weight tiny cars with a good handling can be unbeatable on tracks with a lot of corners
I did most my game in an AZ-1, but there were some battles I straight up needed more power, unfortunately, as they would start on uphill straights.
who needs spoilers when you can have roof spoilers?

We love the wing
That's a nice spoiler.
The mid-wing 😆
Initial D if Daihatsu had bought Toyota instead of the other way around

you know the spoiler sitting on top of the roof makes sense but it still upsets me to look at

How does that spoiler even work 😂
k let's do the Suzuki Carry challenge
I'm still annoyed that the opening cinematic lies to us. There are no neons in the game! >:(
u should do ac tougue
