i had no idea you could run a CVT swap in this game, might have to go back and replay it now!
It's really refreshing to see normal cars being used and being good here, the Saab and Porsche especially. Just goes to show that underpowered cars are still viable in the right hands. I'd like to see more of these challenges being attempted if possible because it gives you cars you wouldn't usually use, pretty interesting to watch through imo. Great video as always Dove, another banger video!
I have a Datsun 510 set up for drifting. It has 120 hp lol. I drift it like a mad man, the new game suck ass

Great playthrough. Many say the F- Class shopping carts at the start are the only slow one but FM4 has alot of even slower cars that can only win by keeping momentum through the corners or other special " Forza" manouvers. But its always nice to use lesser known cars and If they are too slow thats what the upgrade system is for...
Cars being stuck in 1st gear has something to do with the tunable gear ratios, or this game saw the future and has EV conversions :)
similar concept I built up an A class prius that was an absolute animal. The CVT is good because it keeps the engine operating at peak power the entire time.
Man this game looks so much better than the reboot.

As I know the full event list is an astounding nearly 1000 events :D But never tried out how much time it takes
FM4 is my favorite racing game of all time, I play it for a few years and I found out that you get money too easy. Once you reach driver level 4 you unlock everything wth the manufacturer so it's easy if you stick with a brand.
Now I play FM3 and I like how it's a better reward level and you have to grind. Also I stared Gran Turismo 4 and I'm trying to get the hangs of the control.
I played this nonstop for 2 years.. I was top 500 on most tracks top 100 on fujimi. 4wd swap drops some cars a class focus was op in E class with 4wd swap and heavy Crome wheels
those cvt must have the strongest belt and pulley that ever existed for managing to go 300+KM/h LOL

I love these cheap car challenges since FM4 has such fantastic options to facilitate them.
It's still possible in the newer games but unfortunately the Car options aren't as interesting.
No idea wtf is up with your Gears though, never seen the game make a CVT before lmao

I can tell you why you always feel, that you have lack of power. It‘s because you have. The higher you set the difficulty of the AI they gets a increase of power even if the max. PI (A700 for example) is reached. So they will always have an advantage on straights. On Tracks with long high Speed sections (Le Mans or Sebring for ex.) it‘s nearly impossible to beat them with only good driving. On the other hand when it‘s a Track with hard breaking zones and tight corners (Long Beach for ex.) you win with multiple seconds ahead. You can easily proof that. Take a X999 car, set all Opponents to the same car, Drive a lap or two around Le mans, watch the replay and look at the telemetry. The AI is not harder it just cheats more. They did that up to FM7 and in the FH Series also. Cheap and lazy programming/development.

i have gotten 100% of the achievements for this game and alone the bucket list achievement (finish 1st in every race in the event list) took me about 200hrs racing each race myself, im not sure how many events total that was. My Favourite and still the best forza motorsport game to date

There’s gotta be some way to come up with more older forza challenges. Im doing my own challenges for instance beating the game with one specific brand maybe even do a challenge with specific decades for instance can only use cars up to 1970 or something
I think there are north of 1000 races to do to complete everything. I have to do well over 20k races to 100% real racing 3on my tablet, and they add to it every 6-8 weeks

Was this a glitch or is there actually a CVT upgrade that I've never come across before? NGL, it seems really cool, especially for swapping into the Prius or Lexus CT200h
It appeared anytime I upgraded a car to its highest possible class with the auto upgrade feature so its probably possible in other cars

Its super easy get lamborghini sesto elemento spend $50 upgrade on it and you win just detune it
or just like in gran turismo, get the bugatti veyron and detune it
