I think I found a editing booboo. 5:55 and 9:44 is the same section of video. Once you see it repeat at 9:44, then just skip to 14:09 to keep the video going.

there is a short standalone expansion called "Alan Wake American Nightmare" which is super cheap , and worth playing. Alan wake pulls from the Twilight Zone and Outer Limits and look out for the TV's
Ehh, it's kind of a weak copy of the combat mechanics and a detriment to the original vibe. The only good thing is Club Foot for the music.
I still recommend to people to play the original. It still holds up and the plus side is you get the real world advertising in the game for extra immersion, which were sadly removed from the remaster due to expired licensing

@@phoenixvance6642 I know it's a little weird, but it was part of Remedy's intention to make the game feel realistic. They even wanted Shell gas stations for the second game
If anyone has played Control, just so you know that game and Alan Wake share the same world. So cool man, I love this game.
Lol i love how 90% of the video is him screaming "alan! Alan!". Rememdy games are fantastic and deserve some more love. Im so stoked for the sequel and hope we get some Control easter eggs and or connections
We actually might get Control tie-ins because they're both in the same world, so we could see presence of the FBC.
Alan Wake’s gameplay loop of chipping away the darkness with light then shooting the enemy is very satisfying. It doesn’t always work, but when it does it just scratches a certain itch (especially if you pull it off with consecutive enemies dodging their projectiles… in a Viking concert) I can’t wait for their modern take on it in the sequel.
I loved how the Vikings turned up in Control as well

I just finished this yesterday for the first time too and genuinely enjoyed myself. I think my favorite part was when he angrily threw that lamp over and it barely made any noise.

Proud to be Finnish :D this is one of the better videogames coming from Finland, alongside the Max Payne series
I really like finding the story pages and it being read in a different voice.
It's weird how glitchy the game is here. I don't recall having any of these issues when I played it
probably issues with whatever software he uses for capturing gameplay. I'm also playing through the Steam version right now, I'm 2 levels from finishing it and never once ran into these glitches

There were already easter egg crossovers of Alan Wake in the game control
Dude Control has one entire DLC about Alan wake. It's not rumored that they are gonna cross universe, they already crossed.
They've definitely already full cemented a shared universe. Alan Wake was literally in control. You're way behind

I really enjoyed the early parts of the game but the later stages are just repeating fights and got to where I just wanted it over

This the remaster, right?
Keep an eye out for hints of gold symbols and arrows that are only visible by the light of your flashlight. Beam doesn't need to be boosted, but you won't see the hints under normal (lack of) lighting.
Also, the QR codes in the game, are live.
Weird how you're having so many visual glitches with the game
Would highly recommend to play the original. Yay, the faces of the characters aren't as detailed but everything else is pretty much just as good
And you won't have those annoying streaks over the screen constantly
the weird thing is I played both the remaster version on Xbox series x and PC and haven't encountered a single visual issues that popped up in this video. One small audio bug I noticed on the Series X is whenever your setting are set to "stereos" you get no audio during the cutscenes only, changing the audio to mono seems to fix that.
I think it was a rendering issue with whatever software he uses

If you get hate for an opinion, the people hating are the ones that are wrong, not you. Disagreeing is normal, hating isnt
compared to what though? Alan Wake is more of an interactive story than an actual game. I mean I find fortnite extremely repetitive and filled with shills, but that's my opinion lol
