Michael's story resonates with me, my father always said you need 3 months work ahead to even think about employing staff, and machines are costly being idle, can only be worthwhile if they are being used
So having a day job to finance a virgin business, is the only way to get started
Such an outlay, as trailers are so varied difficult to have a trailer for all jobs, so you end up with a variety of trailers, but you can only pull 1 at a time
Hats off to your hard work and dedication to get off the ground

    I seriously enjoyed this one.
Felt bad for the questions, heck I didn't know most of them this time.
He puts his head down and works, not at the stage to look around.. Good Man.
Cammy hope you are doing well

Never clicked on a video so fast!! Another fab video! Cannot wait to see how many people couldn’t understand stand him haha I love hearing how people can’t understand us he does what I do, try and speak “proper” then slides right back into the thick accent with our own way of speaking haha!

We have stopped lambing ewe lambs due to the fact that we found it stunted her growth and if she had twins she didn't have enough milk for two and if one was not taken away she did not regain condition for tupping again , but the deciding factor was that the majority of our texel cross mules ewelambs would abandon the lamb at birth or would not mother it. But if you have the right type it does cover the replacement cost.

Thank you, Iona and Cammy! Brilliant podcast with Michael. No too spurd on the sheep vermin comment though! 🤔 It may sound ironic, but with the speed and the amount of deer fencing, flying up around the countryside for trees. Maybe Michael J Fox might be more palatable... no offence 😉 Canny eat Trees!!😥 ps. Cammy's Jammies!!! They'd Fly oot the Door for Christmas!!!😮 All the best! ❤🐑👏🏻👏🏻

Do you have cement or blue fiberglass silos for corn or grass silage? There was a farmer who left a stone jug in the bottom of the silo and had a jug of pretty raw hooch come spring from the corn silage 😂

Like your idea of trying a smaller ram of the hogs
We did that with our smaller heifers he would cry though if he got a heifer on a cross breed😂😂

Usually the subsidy pays to get started then they undercut genuine contractors who didn't get help from any subsidy
