Childhood? Shit I still play it. I'm part of a Facebook group with 30,000 people, and people on there are having WoW weddingS and such. Long live WORLD OF WARCRAFT!!!!
People who play the game without sound are really missing out. This is probably what makes WoW the best game of all time. The fulfilment when you start as a Night Elf in Darnassus and go out and hunt for some spiders in a cave, the graphic environment, very characteristic. The music. It's like being thrown into another galaxy. Some LSD shit. I feel deep emotions and rejoice as I look back 8 years when I started playing. Too bad the game easily becomes greater than reality and your real life suffer. I'm glad I can still connect with this music as I take on other activities in life. Thx!
Hearing this music brings me back 10 years ago, all of those good memories, when I was just a noob leveling, the first time I entered a BG, my first arena, my first raids. Now I don't really listen to the music because I only grind mythic 20+ or above, but I always come back to this old music, the good oldtimes. WoW is just the best game I have ever played in my life, this game will always be my comfort zone. FOR THE HORDE!
This music still gives me a uplifiting spirit....Wondering around in Azeroth as a little Gnome mage... wonderfull adventures in a digital world. Still a part of me, thnx Blizzard and all the wonderfull people... Ishnu-alah
I hope that one day I would have the time to return back to WoW.....I originally played the game between 2005-2007 (quit shortly after TBC came out)...and I just cant describe the feeling and excitment to first of all get the game after waiting almost 2 months for new shipment to get to the stores after the initial release (they hold back shipments because they needed update servers to handle the player capacity)....and so many great memories from those times...and so many great things yet to see with all the expansions that have come after that time. For sure I was completely fed up with WoW when I quit, but back when Cataclysm was released and I created free account, I completely fell in love with the game again, thanks to re-designed lvl 1-60 areas and quests. The unfortunate fact just is that in my current life situation I just dont have the time to invest on WoW..if I want to play it, I want it to be several hours per day, not just 1 or 2 hours. I simply cant enjoy WoW in such short sessions. My dream is that after my studies are finished and I have full-time job, that THEN I would have time to play it on my freetime again with my girlfriend.....before we start a family and have kids that is... But some part of me feels that Im just fooling myself by thinking that I would have that kind of time anymore...atleast not before I would retire...especially cause I have without lying, over 100 other games waiting on self to be played.....I mean right now the only game I have time to play is few matches of Hearthstone each day, If im lucky....but that is my dream, hoping to see all of WoW one day (cause heck even WoW has come its end one day) and hopefully there still be enough players by then.
Sumanyu Kakar sry, but I simply cant enjoy it that way, especially not when WoW is still monthly fee game....for me its either investing LOT of time to it or not at all.
Wa can always meet up in wow when we all have the sparetime at retirement homes ^^. Just imagine the epic LAN parties and wow sessions with all the oldies that have experienced the same games :)
Hardly see why you cant enjoy a game with 2 hours. 2 hours is alot of time lol. They made it alot more casual friendly as well so you dont HAVE to be a hard core raider to get to the end game content.
I wouldn't say so, World of Warcraft still IS the best MMO ever made, and it will be so for very long time. I think Warlords of Draenor will bring old greatness, many old features are coming back with it, many new and bad features are going away. Blizzard is still very good at making games.
yea, i meant everything now a days, i wasn't even thinking about WoD. I know WoD will be one of the best expansions ever because of all the new features. It WOULD be cool if Blizzard took all the bad stuff out of the game and be like it was back in WotLK and if they took all the Cata and MoP stuff out of the game but the gear sets & races and put all the old vanilla world content in and just put WoD content from 80-90 because of the new models
Tomek Jarosz I hope they revert the talent system in WoD. I know I'm kinda picky, but I really dislike the "Congratulations, you leveled up. Here's NOTHING for the next 30 levels". I mean, really? I would prefer the old system of "1% haste" or some bs stat like that. At least it feels like you gained something from all that grinding, kinda like an achievement.
01:42:33 storm peaks.. these endless hours looking for the time lost protodrake.. while this epic piece of art is playing in the background.. priceless
This is so epic. Whoever put this together did an amazing job transitioning from one song to the other. It's like one, really long, amazingly awesome track of WoW music :D
I was listening to this while doing calculus homework and...I couldn't help but cry when the music of Teldrassil came. I miss those times so much, roleplaying back in vanilla/tbc. Good things don't last forever, I guess. Had to move on.
Thank you Blizzard, for giving me one of my best experiances in life so far :`) im only 18 but my 5 years of playing wow will always be one of my best moments, one of my happies moments.
I don't regret all the time I spent on this game. I have such fond memories of how much FUN it was. I made so many friends and since we originally met online these are the friends who have actually remained close friends, even the ones who moved away from my city, as we continue to game and chat online regularly.
With my eyes closed, every single tune of that soundtrack generates thousands of pictures in my mind. But WoW finally lost me with Pandaria. I miss the good old times.
The huge nerf right after MoP models started showing up during the pre-release killed the game for me. Couldn't tank on my tankadin (no more 'taunt 3 mobs off a party member') and my DW Frost DK was doing the least damage of every group I was in when I used to be top DPS. Completely ruined the experience for me. Haven't touched it since.
Just thought of an idea that could make this even cooler than it already is. When a song plays, not only would the name pop up, but it would be cool if the title logo from which patch its from would light up too, therefore letting the viewers know where the song comes from if they liked it. Great playlist though. Very much loved how you only provided tastes of the songs rather than putting them all full in making it a 7 hr video. This way it really keeps you wanting more, and get a more wide view of what to listen too. Good job.
1:28:25 How many times have I heard this music while in Stormwind, wondering about the Light (yes, I used to play as a Paladin) and admiring the structures they built in the game. WoW was a game that really caught me, it surely leaved a mark in the memories of my childhood and teenage. This game brought me some very special moments o joy and relief, I wished I could have played it more and more wisely.
My heart aches saying my goodbyes to Russell Brower, the man responsible for what's in my opinion the peak of video game music. Since Vanilla he's brought us some of the most memorable and iconic music to which we have listened throughout our adventures across Azeroth. He has helped in shaping the fantasy that we've all known and loved for over a decade of our lives. WoW has had its fair share of lackluster expansions, but never thanks to the music. No, the soundtrack was always spot-on. Once again, thank you Russell Brower. Azeroth wouldn't be what it is and was without your music.
Ashenvele! The first time I visited that zone I got impressed! My favorite zone in the game, well, before Cataclysm. The horde is destroying that beautiful place.
Jorge Fuentes The first time I stepped foot in it I was scratching my head looking at the border between the giant forest and barrens literally drawn a border by dirt in the floor.
Ah, I remember my first toon, NE Druid stepping into Ashenvale, that place was huge! I got lost so many times. When they revamped the place in Cata, I felt so sad, the horde destroying my favourite zone.
Sumanyu Kakar Well yeah say what you want about cata but atleast they changed old world and the first raid tier atleast was rather difficult, unfortunately the entire xpac gets hate just because dragonsoul
4 months of listening to video game music with morning coffee, and this is still the best single compilation on my playlist. Thanks so much for putting it together.
Warlords of Draenor will be like bringing back the old WoW, but more revolutionized. And also, have you noticed that every expansion that gave you 10 levels to level up in has done SIGNIFICANTLY better than Cataclysm or MoP? (And no, don't worry about having a raid instance like MC, that won't happen again. lol)
You should. I recommend you try starting out as a Pandaren first. Its starting zone and story quests are beautiful and spectacular. Yes there are a few flaws here and there, but it is great.
I can never see why people say WoW is addictive, it's fun, I like to play it, I just sometimes cant be bothered playing it because it gets boring after a while.
I know, right? Its so confusing why the hell would billions of people have different psychological characteristics towards certain aspects of life... I mean, since we all have identical bodies, we also should have identical psyche configurations, right?
15:03 I read the title and mouthed Thrall the Earth-Warder but thought Green Jesus. When my mind instinctively says Green Jesus for Thrall than they're probably going too far. "Cough cough" trailer Mosses scene "cough cough."
Sodapoppin was listening this yesterday on stream and it gave me memories *_* As far i can remember, my biggest challenge in vanilla was to find Jasperlode mine. Dunno why but the fact that you need to read a quest to find a place was the shit. RIP wow BibleThump
everytime when a "ulduar" song is playing, a small tear rolls out of my eye, and i get goosebump. Big part of my childhood. by the way im hearing this compilation every time im questing ^^
I'd love it if the creator, or anyone else talented enough, updated this. More selections of music not included and also more recent patch music from Throne of Thunder and Siege. And of course, the released music from Warlords of Draenor! Who's with me!?
This is such a beautiful Compilation. Even with the lacking of the content in WoD, The art team and music creators have poured their soul into the game. Go around and admire the landscape, and listen to the music. Check the skyboxes, and find those awesome views. It's one of my favorite things to do. I still explore in WoW, merely for the beautiful factor. I'll never quit WoW, not until the servers are unplugged. The game is so great, even in it's current form. The poor art team is must be crushed with the beautiful landscapes they create only to realize everyone is in their Garrisons all the time, and not exploring their beautiful world. So, just go around once in awhile. Check for new views. Check for awesome peaks. You just might find something you've never seen or heard of before.
I was SO afraid when this mix started. Opening up with A call to arms and follow up by Arthas? Two best tracks right in the beginning? Means rest of the mix will just suck. Well, I have never been so wrong(TM). This is a masterpiece and you deserve a medal. I am so glad that there are so many people who enjoy that kind of music or entertainment as a whole. Because, after all, it's the people like you who made WoW so amazing past these years. You people are the best.
This compliation is so good. I listen to this while reading through the warcraft books. First war of the ancients atm, makes it 10x better with this video. thanks for uploading
THE MUSIC THEY SHOULD BE USING FOR THE MOVIE TRAILERS INSTEAD OF THE GENERIC GARBAGE LEGENDARY STUDIOS IS SPEWING. GENERIC DUBSTEP OVER THIS?? REALLY??
At 0:09:40 you say the title is called "Twillight's Hammer", however i didn't found the part with the xylophon on youtube yet. Are you sure it's not some different version of the song?
There are two versions of 'Twililght's Hammer' in MPQ files: the first from patch 4.0 (called 'Eventide' on Cata OST) and the second from 4.3 Dragon Soul (this one is at 0:09:40)
LOK'TAR OGAR! VICTORY OR DEATH! FOR THE HORDE! FOR WARCHIEF VOL'JIN! DEATH TO THE ALLIANCE! DEATH TO THE IRON HORDE! BLOOD AND THUNDER! *Raises twin axes*
1:42:33 Damn i just so LOVE this one, Storm Peaks is still my favorite zone not just for TLPD and Skoll, but also for proffs, i really enjoy mining there while listening to this one ;D ^^ combining work whit awesome music makes it even more enjoyable to do, aswel as more gold ;DD 1:50:38 Ah yes, the nostalgia, my first ever character was a blood elf... wish those first excitment moments could come back ....
The music is one of the many reasons I love this game.
JÚLIA
same.
Its sad they ruined it
+Puella Magi Homura Akemi they haven't ruin good music.
+Kirby Pines They all have awesome music.
It may sound stupid but this game is a huge part of my childhood. It gave me fantasy and has inspired me to do so many things in life
Me too, and i discoverd it when i was 7.
Victoria Salcedo you cant "discover" a pay to play game at the age of 7

Childhood? Shit I still play it. I'm part of a Facebook group with 30,000 people, and people on there are having WoW weddingS and such. Long live WORLD OF WARCRAFT!!!!

02:13 ; The Shattering is the best song for me..
It's sooooo epic !
At (3:07)
That is one of best themes if not THE best one in WoW. If only it were longer with more chorus
You should remake this and add the songs that got released since then, by far best comp gj.
***** Its hangin on barely.

You can enjoy WoW in short bursts, that's how I play it. Unless it's a weekend haha
Sumanyu Kakar sry, but I simply cant enjoy it that way, especially not when WoW is still monthly fee game....for me its either investing LOT of time to it or not at all.
Balnazzardi Just gonna put this out, but WoD is AMAZING!!!

That's one thing Blizzard is still very good at, making good music
Actually I liked Heartstone.
I wouldn't say so, World of Warcraft still IS the best MMO ever made, and it will be so for very long time. I think Warlords of Draenor will bring old greatness, many old features are coming back with it, many new and bad features are going away. Blizzard is still very good at making games.

Call To Arms
Holy fuck,
How do your explain it...
They NEED to put A Call to Arms in Warcraft: The Beginning!
Best music
wrath of the lich king. no doubt the best expansion ever created.
Agreed
J20p00 I liked TBC more, but thats just me :D.
of course
Indeed
you misspelled TBC
This is so epic. Whoever put this together did an amazing job transitioning from one song to the other. It's like one, really long, amazingly awesome track of WoW music :D
The best thing of WoW has always been it´s music. It´s legendary. And hypnotizing too.
Dalaran makes me cry
i remember when i first time heard that song. great memories.

I was listening to this while doing calculus homework and...I couldn't help but cry when the music of Teldrassil came. I miss those times so much, roleplaying back in vanilla/tbc. Good things don't last forever, I guess. Had to move on.

@Jutunheim mead What expansions did you play?
Is 5 years only a moment??
Sad life XD but agreed
Ah Invincible, you give me chills every single goddamn time, even after all these years
I agree
I don't regret all the time I spent on this game. I have such fond memories of how much FUN it was. I made so many friends and since we originally met online these are the friends who have actually remained close friends, even the ones who moved away from my city, as we continue to game and chat online regularly.

The mists of pandaria music is actually amazing and underrated. Some of the best and individual.

Nightsong(Ashenvale) makes me cry I dont know why, I dont have that many strong mempories of the place ;) even that I still play the game

Latin chanting is the easy mode of epic music.
Thats why Blizard composes music in Common, Darnassian, Orchish, and Latin ;)
I think I start again, and level 1-85 without heirlooms.
+Seb Min Go for 1-90. Mists has some great quests.
+Writer Shard after that, fuck WoD?
Sage Or Murderer? WoD's actually got a pretty good questing chain. Gets old after the first time though.
This is my all time favorite game
4 months of listening to video game music with morning coffee, and this is still the best single compilation on my playlist. Thanks so much for putting it together.

Back when Vanilla and TBC was godlike times
Listening to this makes me want to come back so badly.
So. So. Badly.
Do so :) we can use all the scribers we can get and WOD looks VERY promising.. it is going back to the old days

I never played WoW but after listening to soundtrack i think i should purchase it...
Do it mate :)
You should definitely do it :D
It will maybe take you a little bit of time to dig it but it will be worth it :) It's one of a kind!
You should. I recommend you try starting out as a Pandaren first. Its starting zone and story quests are beautiful and spectacular. Yes there are a few flaws here and there, but it is great.
OH MY GOD the finale with the main vanilla theme. Excellent collection, great phasing.
People may not think that WoW is as good as it once was, but the music sure has the same EPICNESS as it always has
I can never see why people say WoW is addictive, it's fun, I like to play it, I just sometimes cant be bothered playing it because it gets boring after a while.
well thats why people unsub during droughts then resub when new content comes in
Just go on moon guard if u wanna see something interesting....
Mr.tutorial guy Hence the constant expansion releases
Mr.tutorial guy Whatever you do! DON"T TAKE THE TRAM EVER ON THAT SERVER!
I know, right? Its so confusing why the hell would billions of people have different psychological characteristics towards certain aspects of life... I mean, since we all have identical bodies, we also should have identical psyche configurations, right?

great :D
dude, after all these years... when you search 4 wow music your vid is on the top of the list
When I heard "The Legends of Azeroth" I knew that it had to be the last one!
And great job, mate, these were the best, keep em coming!
Yeah I admired the trees in Ashenvale up close . A blocky outdated mess
Echoes in the end 2:04:40 ... Long live Warcraft II !!!
Rise up! Sons of the Horde
Blood and glory await us
Lok'tar ogar! For the Horde!
now i have played alliance. lol
but i never forgot Horde's honor and glory and everything
I want to back to Horde.
Damn my friends
REALLY??
Yes.. The movie music is pathetic. Among other things, one of the strongest points of the franchise is the music.
Well the movie's soundtrack is quite good tho
Dubstep? Where did you hear Dubstep in Warcraft Movie? :D
At 0:09:40 you say the title is called "Twillight's Hammer", however i didn't found the part with the xylophon on youtube yet. Are you sure it's not some different version of the song?
There are two versions of 'Twililght's Hammer' in MPQ files: the first from patch 4.0 (called 'Eventide' on Cata OST) and the second from 4.3 Dragon Soul (this one is at 0:09:40)
If you want those music ingame get the add-on Epicmusicplayer easy 2 find music :-D
Zuhaib khan how to add in game ??
Wow Gamer just unpack the folders from a Add-On in the AddOn Folder within Interface in your WoW Directory.
thanks :)
I miss Russel Brower’s style. (Still like Neil Acree, Russel just symbolises what made WoW great)
This is so majestic. WoW remains unbeaten.
This MMO Can't be defeated by others!

Only played wow for a short time, but I always loved the epic music that followed you on your journey. Maybe I'll have to get back into it.
Only 6 minutes in, already the most epic soundtrack I've ever listened to.
Only 10 seconds in, already the most epic soundtrack ever.
