It does not give you any rights over the music however, so remixing the music, re-selling it etc. is not allowed. Giving credits is also necessary in commercial projects. Please note that "for free" only applies to the usage license. Music is my full-time job and is where 100% of my earnings come from. So no mater what you use my music for, whether it's commercial or non-commercial use, I appreciate that you purchase the music instead of downloading it for free. Many people misunderstand this part so I need to clear this up. I love making music, but if everyone would just get it for free I would not be able to pay rent, so please understand. It was always my dream to make enough money to survive with music being my only job, and that is only possible because of people who go and buy that music. Remixing, sampling and other forms of altering the original song into a new piece of music is also generally not allowed unless the remix is 100% non-commercial and labelled with the original title and author of the song (me). REQUESTED MUSIC: I generally do not accept offers to make songs on request or to write music for movies, games etc. One reason is that I can't handle it time-wise but even if I had the necessary time I would still stay away from it because I - quite honestly - don't really like to do it.^^ I basically make music to express whatever topic moves me, randomly. I tried it a few times but I have the best creativity and feel the most freedom and happiness when I do that completely alone and without being “employed” by someone. I hope that’s understandable.^^ Important: I do not allow my music to be used in any project that has a clear political, racist or discriminatory message or is pornographic. By that I mean anything that goes from direct political, racist or discriminatory videos or underlining speeches with my music, onto remixing my melodies into a song that has lyrics with clear political, racist or discriminatory message and similar things that clearly promote these things. Same goes for explicit pornography. Media with nude art is allowed, if not pornographic in nature and purpose. I hope you're having an awesome day, and thanks a lot for being interested in my music! =)
My Turtle Diaries his music has become such a big part of my game that I didn’t even realize some of these weren’t original. Thanks so much for all the music you’ve made
Why can not we live in any magical, fantasy-like world? A world full of magical creatures, mages, bards, warriors, fantasy kingdoms and huge enchanted forests,... everytime I listen to a music like this, I feel empty that our world is far far away from the one I would love to be a part of. A place where we can go to an adventure, fight evil, visit taverns with friends, drink ale and play board games. I know that Celts were real but their music reminds me of a beautiful magical forests and so on. I like going for a long walks into the forest (mainly in autumn and winter) which is next to my house accompanied by my 2 dogs and listen to music like this. Especially when I want to escape from a real world full of problems, stress, responsibilities and study. With my headphones on I always imagine that I am walking in a fantasy forest and there are 2 "magical wolves" with me. :) Thanks for this music Mr. Ziegler and wish all of you guys the best :) sorry, english is not my mother language
math is not a sea monster... math is my friend, math is not a sea monster... math is my friend, math is not a sea monster... math is my friend, ....... 2^56 times... math is not a sea monster... math is my friend... :))
I'm a Persian female have no idea how Celtic music boils my blood. every single time I click on Adrian's songs to study with, I feel so excited and can't sit in the library! Wanna go out and accomplish something! If you are an undercover warrior you can relate!!!
Industrialization and urbanization is great and all, but wouldn't life be amazing to live in a small cottage somewhere far away from civilization in Scotland, just being so free and so happy. I feel that that would be a life worth living.
And walking through dark Scottish forests, while playing a flute, and then going to the beach to listen to the endless waves coming ashore, while you look at the dusk, all before going back at home...
And never having warm water, eating the same thing year-round, feeling cold every night, having to work your ass off for every last morsel of food or firewood... There's a reason we live the way we live right now, because the alternative is so hard that it leaves no time for pleasure or relaxation or creativity.
@@arabiannights5301 People have always had warm water, and they didn't eat the same thing all year round. They had a nice, healthy diet that didn't cause nearly as much problem as the sugary and unhealthy garbage we have today. People had fires and houses so it would not be cold every night. "Working your ass off" is subjective as chopping wood when you are in good physical shape would not be considered working, but merely another part of daily life. The last part of your comment reveals the problem plaguing the modern man; all you want is pleasure and relaxation, when even something as simple as chopping wood is considered "hard work" by you. Modern men have become weak and soft. Life back then made sense and existed in harmony with nature and even then people still had time to be creative and make art/music.
I agree 100% with you. Not a bad idea:) Count me in. Would like to visit either Scotland or Ireland someday. I heard only good things from those who traveled or are from those countries.
I always come back to this, even if it takes a few years. It just calls for me. Edit: 2 years after and I'm still here, and currently learning Irish history so that's cool. (I totally knew this was Irish, yup)
Finally a "celtic music" video that doesnt contain a 15 seconds loop for multiple hours. After so many endless hours on the open ocean i finally reached the promised land
+Adrian von Ziegler I love your music and also loved the story of how you started promoting yourself - I can't remember how you did it but I remember it was warming :)
+Adrian von Ziegler I was not a warrior but I took an arrow to the knee when I kicked a box and it exploded on my knee, releasing the arrows that were within. . . Sad moment because I was never great and now I never can be. . .
I remember when I heard this for the first time, I wasn't even 14. Now I'm 22 and I still come back to this, literally the best celtic music album I have ever heard in my life. I love your work
Hi Drovenna, same for me! I'm a bit older but got the same feeling. So many things happened in my life, I've fought stress, breakups, depressions, death. But I'm still here, different but the same inside. Taking a breath listenning to this music made me look back and realize that I've come through a rude journey. But now I'm resting and happy, and that's all that matters.
This music makes me feel like a child looking into a world where dragons, warriors like the Vikings, strange creatures like Gollum and castles on top of great hills, all exist!
I'm glad music exists. Beautiful, inspiring, epic, immortal. They give melody to a old world, a old universe. As Nietzsche told once: "Without music, life would be a mistake" Never stop making music, Adrian. You are doing a great work giving melody to life.
People talk about Rihanna, Justin Bieber, Avicii, and other pop artists.. But you, Adrian, is a better musician than all of them. Thank you for making this fantastic music. It means a lot to all of us.
In your past life you were. Any minority who is drawn to European music was re-incarnated. It's the same way one is also drawn to ancient folk music [Ancient Roman, Ancient Egyptian, etc.]
@@squeekyclean1644 i believe in past lifes and reincarnation but i think people can just be into a genre of music in this life and it doesn't necessarily mean THAT
I'm sorry but I have to say this This type of music is 10 times better than main stream music or the music heard on this radio (you all know the stations) its a beautiful fantasy
Everyone has different taste in music, if you like this much better it doesn't mean that it is actually better. P.S. Though I love this celtic music, awesome pieces ^^
I love this music for calming me down and relaxing. Also helps with concentrating on work. I listen to other songs when I am well, how do I put it...am in a different mood or environment? Different state of mind.
This is the music of my life!!!!! I've read in the comments section that Im not the only one feeling strange listening to celtic music. I am from Albania (in the Balkans) and I dont have the slightest clue if my origin is celtic or not, but I just feel home with this kind of music. Images of mountains come to my mind, fields with grass and flowers, people walking, children laughing, a bonfire, this music playing and me dancing around like crazy and HAPPY! I dont have much words for describing it! Im in awe =D Thank you for this masterpiece!
+IrenaM im the same way, though for me, i have images of a time...long past...memories that i don't really know if they are mine....or from a previous life (yes i believe in that stuff..don't hate me for it) and every time i see those images i get really homesick...it sucks...but so far is the only connection i have left to those times...
+Alex Jensen Kinda like I'm feeling too listening to this music. Visions, long lost memories from ancesters, my brain playing games with me... call it what you want, I just know that its the best feeling. Even though sometimes feels like homesickness I dont feel sad at all. Who knows, maybe someday we will visit the land and really feel the connection to it.

Been listening to your music for years, especially when I study. Hard to believe no one from the entertainment industry has reached out. Too many good TV and movies with shitty musics, your music would works perfectly with "Vikings" "Outlanders" and "Witcher".
This is not Celtic, this is Adrian's unique music and style, and it is a masterpiece. Thank the Lord for this talent you've got! You can hear the beauty.
Adrian von Ziegler Bonjour Adrian! I do LOVE your compositions. Seriously you have a beautiful Soul. You are a precious treasure. You touch my heart. Thanks so much for your gift. Have a nice life.

Can't believe i've listened to this masterpiece for over 10 years now. Thank you, Adrian, for contributing to so many of my most wonderful memories through your music.
I don't know why but everytime im listen to this,@3:20 i can imagine how castles are build up in the middle age, how people dancing outside around the fireplace, green fields, the grass in the wind, knights on horses riding along, the feeling like my heart is going to explode in my own dream world
My mom died back in '97. We have Irish blood running thru our veins and when I listen to music such as this...it reminds me of her. I was just a kid when she passed...and I feel cheated that I lost her at such a young age.
The only thing I have to say is: I listen to your music on a daily basis. They really transport me to a very different point in time. It's really lovely. Congrats on your gift.
***THIS*** Is why I give some time browsing on youtube or manga website. Hidden gems stowed away by the vile algorithms of youtube. Your music echos through my heart and soul. I've been listening to other videos but they were just loops one melody and extending it. Thank you for creating this masterpiece. May your fire burn ever brighter with your passion. And always have a good rest. Stay safe.
My friends and i had many epic nights in which we played adventures in D&D with your music in the background. One of the greatest things you can do. Take a D&D Rulebook, gather your friends and some snacks, have some of Adrians music in the background and you have the recipe for a good time. The might not be the biggest part, but definitely an importent one. Greetings from Germany
None of my friends like to play D&D:( it is so depressing to see what i could have get if there was someone. The closest i can get is with reading fantasy books
Have you ever tried roll20? It's a site that lets you join online groups and play with people from everywhere. Even if you can't get your own group together you could find one there.
Hi there! If you're reading this, I just want you to know that I wish you an incredible day filled with joy and peace. You are wonderful and deserving of all good things! Thanks to Adrian von Ziegler for the beautiful music. Gods bless you all!
To share with ya my story using a poor English skills may be isn't best idea but..) i'm russian studying 3rd year in Germany and you know being abroad i was often feeling melancholy. And i really enjoyed this mood, smoking a cigaret through my window in a small rented apartment, watching at the dark river in the night, which is near and listening to your wonderful music I don't believe in god, miracles, reincarnation and such thing but tonight i feel myself happy while listen this Celtic music, somehow i imagine i'm at home and it's not Russia, but Ireland where i have never ever been) Thanks bro for what you do
Your music is one of the most beautiful sounds i have ever heard. Everything is perfectly balanced. I study paganism and modern age witchcraft, and I always listen to you're music whilst I study. Some people are made to make music, and that's you. Never, ever stop, please
Hakai Li' Sharo same could be said about praying to a god, or indeed ANY religious practice.. fact is everyone is unique and will do whatever makes them feel better about their place in this world... by focussing on whether there's any "real evidence" you are missing the point of spirituality entirely.
+Mijail Jones You are not far from the truth. J. R. R. Tolkien. Was a Freemason, the highest circle. Elves, Hobbits, Dwarves, Orcs. It's not a fantasy of the patient's brain.
+ShadoeTheRandom I'm working on a book as well. This type of celtic music (this video being my favorite) is really helping me get in the mood :b (and also distracting me from actually writing because I'm spending too much time marveling at the music, but oh well.)
@@erica1596 says who? I'll say what I like to whoever I like whenever I like and nothing you say will change that, who do you think you are telling me anything? you don't know me, where I am or anything about me! whats it got to do with you ??? you should look for help, butting into other ppls business is a serious condition that will lead you into all sorts of trouble
I listened to this music a thousand times and every time it was like the first time. It's a pity that I can't put only 1 like. This music is like pure magic, energy and life
Please. Go to Bethesda and help them with the next Elder Scrolls soundtrack. Dude you'd probably make one of the greatest artists yet in the Elder Scrolls trilogy.
Jeremy Soule does a great work (I'll forever be thankful for him composing Morrowind's main theme) but it's true this is the music quality that could fit an ES game. I had first thought of Skyrim but it's true it could also fit in certain places of High Rock, though I tend to imagine the tunes would sound a bit more like Renaissance music around Daggerfall (then usually comes the debate on whether such instruments could be crafted or not and I'm not entering it). TES VI in High Rock could be quite cool (well, they'd better not screw up the witches if they do that!) but for now I bet on Alinor or the Elsweyr Confederacy. I so wish I could get hired to work on lore...
I am German actually from the southern part of Germany we have a lot of Celtic Graves and yes the Celtic tribes that were living in my area assimilated with the Germanic tribes so I'm very fortunate and very proud to be Celtic and Germanic
Anasov97FTW Ah well, many people don't enjoy this type of music. It does sound quite traditional in a sense, I personally can see why people might not like it. Don't rush to judge people for something so simple as their musical preferences, after all you should care about is how you feel, not how others do. Have a nice day :)
Anasov97FTW Relax, neither did I, I was just trying to justify why some people might not like this. I personally love it and study all the time with it playing, but some might just not like at all this music :)
i suffer from insomnia (VERY difficult falling asleep) meaning I'm up sometimes all night, this music is magic, purely because I drift off to sleep by the first one has finished, big help thanks :)
Sorry mind if I ask you Do you recognise any psychological or physical issues in you? Because insomnia is more like a byproduct of a hidden deeper issue Or maybe you simply cannot afford the society s rythms e g sleeping at night Me myself I m sleeping from 5 am to 1pm for years that s my natural rythms
Or Howling Fjord :3 And by the way celtic music and norse music are quite alike. After all Norse came from Celt (as far as I know don't judge me if i'm wrong, just tell me x) )
i'm an italian man. 3 years ago i visited Ireland for 1 month. Needless to say that i was blown away at how warm and kind the people were. I made lots of friends and visited the incredibly beautiful landscapes all over the place. I lived live an Irish for 1 month. I desired to return there in the last 3 years since i returned home in Italy. Then 4 days ago i discovered that i have celt heritage from my mother's side. Well, the rest is history.
Magique, féerique, fantastique... Y-a-t-il d'autres termes ? Moi, je ne vois que ceux-là pour désigner ces musiques! Très très belles et jolies compositions, j'adore les sonorités Celtes. De l'art...
Born in England but with Scottish and Irish blood on mother’s/father’s sides respectively. My soul is Celtic. I am drawn to this music and all it promises. Blessings to you who created and all who hear
Hey you, you're finally awake. You were trying to cross the border, right? Walked right into that Imperial ambush, same as us and that thief over there.
"What we do in life echoes in eternity." What's to say that hasn't already been said? This music echoes into eternity. May it be known for as long as possible.
Since hard times at rehab I listen to this magical masterpiece and it always makes me smile and remember that the world is beautiful. Thanks Adrian you're one of a kind
I've been coming here, on this playlist for 9 years since it was posted. It's my refuge on the worst days, it's the strongest trigger I have to disconnect from problems and remember other times. It's what pulls me out of depression. Thank you Adrian for this incredible work, it may sound silly but it's one of the best things in my life. My greetings, from Brazil
I am Galician and we have also played the bagpipes since the XII century. It is the most wonderful sound in the world. I love all bagpipes and the Irish one is one of the best. The first song starts with one and I'm here.

Finals this week.. Hoping to finally graduate and get my diploma after six years of Dutch high school. Seriously though, the music makes it feel like an epic quest.
I've listened to this whole thing enough times I've basically memorised it. Whenever I feel like listening to a specific song I am almost always able to click right to it. This is how much I adore your music.
I'm native to Scotland but half Nordic from my mothers side and I can tell you that this kind of music even gets my blood pumping and its bred into me from the get go 😁 forever Alba
I have really bad anxiety, and today I woke up in a bad mood. My cousins are here and I don't get along with them because they always act up while they're here. They're 5 and 14, and I know with this and any other trigger that sets off my anxiety, I am grateful to know that I can turn on Adrian's music sets and listen and be able to be transported to the woods of a Celtic land full of magic and myth, and lay upon a lush green patch of grass near a bubbling spring, close my eyes, and be carried away. Always the best. Thank you Adrian
The first song, Prophecy, always gives me a deep and intense feeling of nostalgia. It has for years, every time without fail. The beginning tune just strikes something inside of me and I don’t know what it is. It’s a gorgeous song, and the only song on this playlist that makes me feel that way. I do have lots of Celtic blood in me, so maybe it’s my intuition picking up on something I, or my ancestors heard many lifetimes ago. ☺️
You don't want to do that. They are very racist I tell ya. They hate other races, especially Blacks and Asians. My Asian friends were treated horribly there.
its usually under $900 depends on the time of year and te travel company you use. get a jar hide it in the back of your closet and add money to it as you get paid $20 every two weeks will add up. Test you will power and try what i said.
Despite War and Health Issues, the Middle Ages would be a great time to live. Think about it: so much of the world would have been untouched. No disgusting polluted cities, no cars or electronics, no bills, no schooling, no drugs, no politics, nothing but bliss happy living. Yes, it does have a few major downs, but nothing would be stopping you from running away to the middle of nowhere with family and friends and living off pure land (which you did anyway.) That is what God intended us to do, live off the land he gave us. Not ruining it.
Except for the fact that a lot of cities actually were pretty dumpy and messy, at least in the slums. And politics were definitely a HUGE issue. You could have a king one day who is fine, and the next day have a tyrannical king. And there were taxes and bills just the same as now, and sometimes even more unfair than now (which is saying a lot). Yes, the culture would be quite interesting and you'd feel a little more self-sufficient, but there were a lot of problems back then too. And this is coming from someone who has always wished to visit that time period as well, just make sure you know a bit more before really wanting that haha.
Cities may not of been polluted, but they were DISGUSTING. Far, far worse than cities today. Rome, London and Paris especially. There were no sewers, and if there were (Byzantium had some, which is why Constantinople is not on that list.) they were tiny and reserved to rich parts of the city. There was excrement, human and animal in the streets and during times of plague or siege, it's not unheard of for entire cities to be wiped out or abandoned. Then there's the country, where this is little to no central authority besides taxes. Mob justice is the only justice that prevails, and bandit troops the size of small armies patrol the highlands. (Depends on the land, Russia, Hungary, and Bulgaria were particularly bad) On top of that, there are raiding armies and depending on your time period (early, huns and Vikings) late (mongols and timurids.) That wipe out entire cities. When the mongols conquered china, there was a mountain of rotting corpses visible from miles around.
I don't know, the middle ages would be a simpler time to live in, but are you talking about being born in that time and knowing nothing of the future or going back to a time like that? The latter would no doubt lead to great boredom and then for people like myself a great deal of fun pranking people with simple technology that we can make, at least till we got caught and pressed or burnt for witchcraft (they only burnt females they pressed males under rocks, nice of them huh). Also no one gave us the land, we took it, we are supposed to share it with others not try and own it.
I've been writing a book for a couple years now, and i can say that your music was one of the things that helped me the most. The inspiration that i feel while listening to your music is superb. I just wanna say thank you, and that i expect your work to be recognized for everyone who truly loves music. Thank you, Adrian.
I am too, and it's exactly for that that i can understand the beauty in this music. It's not every song that takes you to another time and age. That's why i admire his work so much
This is the kind of music that evokes a yearning in you. A calling to find peace. It’s beautiful and a delight to listen to. All your music is incredible!

Im in awe =D
Thank you for this masterpiece!

Leaper thx :D
Is that only able for pc, or can you do that on console?
Bruce Gordon I'm not sure, but I'm doing it on PC.
Bruce Gordon You cannot mod on consoles, however if you use an Xbox 360 to play the game you can use the media player to play it in the background.
I am Galician and we have also played the bagpipes since the XII century. It is the most wonderful sound in the world. I love all bagpipes and the Irish one is one of the best. The first song starts with one and I'm here.
Irish bagpipes are called uilleann pipes it means elbow pipe
I feel exhausted and that music makes me feel the life/nature is giving me power to live.
Was thinking the same :)
Gerçekten etkileyici 😯

After 8 years, I still keep coming back to this one.
More than 8...Never gets old!!
as someone who has celtic roots i love your music
These vibes... It makes me feel as if I'm in a medieval movie. Also, it makes my studying much more interesting.
Love it.
Same, makes revising more enjoyable! You doing A Levels or GCSEs or something of the likes?
Finals this week.. Hoping to finally graduate and get my diploma after six years of Dutch high school.
Seriously though, the music makes it feel like an epic quest.
Best of luck in your finals. Mine are in June for high school as well!
MusicShadow715 The Quest For the Graduation.
The Quest for The Graduation sounds like a badass medieval movie !! Lol, that's awesome!! Hahaha!

I see a warm fire on a cold night,
hearty laughter and ale,
hungry wolves in an unforgiving winter,
And good times, And better tales.
Beautiful. I use this to sooth my daughter back to sleep after her early am feedings.
I've listened to this whole thing enough times I've basically memorised it. Whenever I feel like listening to a specific song I am almost always able to click right to it. This is how much I adore your music.
Even after 8 years, I can't get enough of your music. It heals me every night. Thank you for sharing your passion
While listening to this I am drinking whiskey and exploring castles in google map :)
Danny Sounds like a damn good time.
Danny Manliest thing I've ever heard LOL.
Danny thanks for sharing your trip man I think I'll do the same
+Danny Wow really cool castle.
Danny I got lost, can't find the exit, LOL.

Shouldn't you both be checking a doctor for your anxiety if it is this bad? There's nothing wrong with checking a psychiatrist
Cool the way You described that.
As a 19 year old African American from California, I would really love to visit Ireland and Scotland one day!
Stop talking shite Modern Templar. I'm from Scotland and that's not true at all.
modern Templar must be a child, cause how you act and talk to others is how you will be treted as a guest in another country. lil pleb.
@@CipherAes256 What a load of nonsense (coming from a Scot).
Living off pure land is easier said than done mind you.
And this is coming from someone who has always wished to visit that time period as well, just make sure you know a bit more before really wanting that haha.
its called dark ages for a reason, life was pretty bad back ten
Did you write the book while listening to this music?
Yes, adrian's music is very touching and profound. It gave me such inspiration...
You're right! Very inspiring. Also for me being a musician..
I am too, and it's exactly for that that i can understand the beauty in this music. It's not every song that takes you to another time and age. That's why i admire his work so much
Rellyks what is the name of the book?
Greetings to all the celts from a Slav. Your music is great as always
I feel like carving big spears and lighting torches to go and seize a castle in the name of our king!

That should be a saying among the Celts! If not, I will make it a saying for the Vikings!
This is the kind of music that evokes a yearning in you. A calling to find peace. It’s beautiful and a delight to listen to. All your music is incredible!
8 years have passed and I'm still coming back here for these songs... Thank you very much Sir Adrian von Ziegler!
