Jeremy your Casio CT-400 Best Price & Info link isn't working.
would you buy the CT-S400 or CT-S1 today? Is it true that CT-S1 has the German Concert Grand Piano sound that CT-S400 doesn't have?
Bought this one a week ago and love it! I'm a guitar player and new to piano - had to try this due to some neuropathy in my left hand from cancer surgeries... it's been a blast! Thanks for the review.
How are You ?
Hope you are doing well King 👑
Got my 400 out for delivery right now and I can’t wait to get off work and try my first lessons
I got the same exact keyboard back in December after Christmas and I absolutely love it, and I am still playing, definitely worth the $200
Finally, Jeremy see is back in action. Good to see you after a long time man.
Great review by the way😀😀😀👍👍👍👋👌👌
Welcome back my friend. It's always good to have a break, especially when the time is spent with your family.
Hey Jeremy! Love ur videos Man! Thanks for all the effort you put! I can watch you all day, Perfect explained, This Is real content. Good job!!
I just bought the CT-S410 at Guitar Center as a second keyboard to have fun with. I always love your videos. I recognized the song you began with. "Above All". Love it.
Casio actually started listening to you about the LCD Screen you objected about back then on the comparision between the PSR-S670 and CT-X9000IN. More informative LCD. I love this move from them.
Love your song choices 😊
Thanks again, Jeremy for pointing me to this keyboard. I just tonight figured out that I can mute the voice and layer and just use the rhythm and accompaniment with my DAW's instruments, playing the backup through the keyboard's speakers. Very handy for trying out songs using the software instruments. I've always wanted some kind of workstation function for with my DAW, and this keyboard provides just what I need without having to program in drum patterns in the DAW. Such good value in this keyboard.
can't we mute the voice coming out of keyboard's speaker in casio cts300? any idea?
Casio keyboards sound much better now
And that means Yamaha has to level up their game
That again means better products for all of us! 😉
Indeed!
They did improve especially on the piano and epiano sounds and better DSP, but it still feels lacking compared to the Yamaha, especially if you listen to the styles. The percussions and other sounds still sounds tinny.
Good thing though is Casio knows how to price their product so it's still competitive with Yamaha so i wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to beginners.
Amen to that!
Another great video. Along with the Yamaha PSR-E373, the Casio CT-S400 is the best two arranger keyboards for the same price, or best value. The Yamaha had it's great features, but the Casio has a smaller footprint, or slimmer portable form factor, with the guitar strap pegs, textured keys and the wireless BT capability with the optional dongle, plus the pitch bend wheel, and is great for playing worship & praise music 🎶 ✝️ 🕊 🙏 😇 .
Lots of great tones, rhythms and such. I think it will be best to get this one, after the CT-S1.
The tones and effects are even more incredible, especially in layers that I haven't heard in other keyboard in anywhere near the price until you get to about $1000+ like the the Roland V-Combo, RD 88 and comparable keyboards in the price range. These two Casios are both wins, depending as mentioned previously, when features you need, but great if you can get both, and the Yamaha PSS-A50 makes a great, compact and affordable partner to the CT-S1 for rhythm, bass or backing parts, and second keyboard to play another part.
Masataka Kono has mastered that and his latest video epitomizes what I just mention above and previously about the sound and utilization of the PSS-A50...
This shows why you should get the CT-S1, over the CT-S400 if you are focused on playing with the 61 tones over the 600 tones, rhythms, pitch bend and arranger functions.
Masataka Kono has seemless tone changes thoughout his arrangements not using just the same sounds throughout the song, particularly with the PSS-A50, where you can hold notes and switch to another tone and pkay both until you release the first tone, and keep switching like he does on other songs, like when he plays the PSS-A50 alone, sounding like a full multitrack arrangement played in real time.
But the CT-S400 is great if you do need those features, especially if you write, record, need the extra tones, pitch bend, etc. Both being so affordable, you could get both, like I plan to. Plus, having the Roland Go:Keys and JD-Xi, and maybe get the Yamaha Reface CP will round out what I would need and want without going to the more expensive keyboards I mentioned if I was a professional gigging keyboardist.

Beautiful playing ☺️🥰
Hello Jeremy,I saw your review of the Casio CDP-S350 and bought it,awaiting arrival now :),i only played a bit for 1 year when i was 6 yrs old lol,now im 37,time to start from scratch and start practicing heavy :),keep going Jeremy you have an excellent channel, all the best for you :) Sandro
Our church got ine a few months ago, and it is great. And I can use it anytime after hours when not being used, since I have 24/7 access if I want to do music stuff when no one is there.
Beautifully played!
Great video! I love the songs you play. What is the songbook seen in the video?
Great review!
I think the CTS 1 is a great choice to learn piano, and is the ultimate portable 2nd instrument for practice outside of classical
Great vid just bought this keyboard
That starting song reminds me of the ending to Chrono Trigger. Great playing as usual.
Hello Jeremiah. Congratulations for the excellent videos. Casio has released the CT-S500, with many improvements. But I have a question that I couldn't solve by watching videos. In terms of tones, does the CT-S400 lose a lot to the CT-S500? Thanks!
Hi Jeremy. I want to start learning to play the piano. I Saw your review on the Yamaha EZ 300 with the light up keys. Is that a good beginner piano? Is that the best way to learn? What would your approach be as a beginner?
Hey Jeremy! Love your channel. I have a question. Between Casio cdps350 and Casio Privia PX-360. Which do you pick?
I've bought this keyboard, it sounds very good! And yeah it is quite underwhelming that it didn't had a felt strip over the keys, but that is an easy fix, I asked my grandma if she had some soft red fabric, almost the same as an actual felt strip, good thing she got some left overs from her sewing cloths and I added it to my keyboard, and to my surprise, the keyboard absolutely looked more attractive and the key bed's noise got muted so much!!
Like even if I'm playing it at it's lowest volume, I do not hear any key noises.
Great hack! ❤️
Did you have to take out the keybed?
@@JeremySee can you download sounds onto the keyboard?
Me encantan tus videos!, saludos desde México 😼
Long time no see. Everything seems to be nice
Go on jeremy
Hi wonderful review does the Cts-400 have a registration freeze? please let me know its kinda important for me when using registration.
How about the brand new PX-S3100? Do you have any review on this model?
Hi jeremy. Are the dual and split volumes adjustable on the cts models?
Can you please suggest me which keyboard I should buy - CTX 700 or CTX 870IN?? Any help will be appreciated...
you reveal to me how wonderfully you play!!!!!
Great informational video as always Jeremy! I have a question, I already own a CASIO CT-X5000 arranger kayboard - is there any reason to get the CT-S400 for me in this case? Thanks!
The CT-X5000 is far more advanced but you might use the CT-S400 as a second, very light and portable keyboard, if you like the CT-X tones.
felicitaciones, las canciones que tocaste en el piano tienen una letra muy poderosa, saludos desde Perú, me sirvió mucho tus videos para tomar una buena decisión , Aquí en Perú seguiré esperando la llegada de Casio CT-S500.
Hey Jeremy... Is there any way where we can use the sustain feature without the sustain peddle in the Casio ctx870in.
Digno es el Señor. Marcela Gandara. Nice play. Jeremy what do you think, is Casio XT5000 a good option today?
Hello Jeremy
Which should I buy, PSR E373 or CT S400?
Hello sir..
Should I wait for upgrading yamaha p 125.
When this will upgrade..?🤔
What is your opinion..?
Hi. Thx for your videos
They are so helpful. Can anyone tell me which color the screen is? Is it blue, green, purple? Thx, regards
Love it!!!
What piano book are you playing from please?
hello, i have a problem with saving direct to registration bank on usb flash card... only the chosen registration bank text is saving but not the content of the chosen registration I did mount the usb first and than format in the casio... and used severall usb sticks what could be the problem? and how can i reset the casio in the factory setting?
Hi Jeremy, you never answered the question, should you buy it? I can't decide between the Yamaha e463 and the Casio s400. I'm thinking the Yamaha tones might be dated, but that I might have some trouble with the Casio interface, I am a singer, keyboard beginner. Any thoughts would be sincerely appreciated, thank you
Hi jeremy. Does the casio ct s400 have built-in audio interface?
Hey man do a comparison video of yamaha psr i500 vs casio ctx 9000in need the answer quick and staight forward for which keyboard to buy i bought casio ctx 9000in need help whether to change to yamaha or not
Wasn't expecting Hillsong to come out of that thing! Very nice rendition of Worthy Is The Lamb. What was that sax piece you played? I've listened to it a couple of times, but I can't get a lock on it.
Hello, thank you very much , I just bought it, but I have a pedal problem: I did everything, put the pedal on "sostenuto" and switched off the U1 U2 and lower part, also in" TONE" but the sustain pedal does still not work after keys played , I have a small hand, and am used and need to use the pedal, what am I doing wrong please? thank you very much for your help
hi there! compared to the CTX-580, wich would be best?
Dear Jeremy, can we edit our style/rythm for cts400. Is there any software. Thx.
For the past one year, I've been using Yamaha PSR e263 Keyboard for learning. Now I feel like I'm in need of an upgrade. What should I do, upgrade to a yamaha psr e463 or Yamaha PSR I400 or Yamaha PSR I500 or Casio CT-X 8000in or Casio CT-X9000in? Can anyone please help me.
Hello there...Can we loop using the recording function?
I was just wondering if any of the casitone keyboards can be connected via midi or bluetooth to another keyboard, say like an 88 keyboard. Can this be done? I couldn't find any info on this. I was interested in the ct-s500 model and wanted to be able to connect it to my roland fp30 so I have the casio sounds but the weighted keys of the roland.
Hi Sir, please make a review for KETRON SD9 if this keyboard is better than sx900
Thanks!
what's the bluetooth adapter called?
Blessings brother, excellent your videos, and beautiful music, I have a doubt between the CTx800 series and this CTs400 I don't know which one to choose, thank you very much
Same issue bro
in that model, is there a way to adjust layer volumes?
Can you mute style parts on the CTS-400?
Cts400 or Yamaha e373? The Yamaha has a better piano sample?
Hi Jeremy. Just bought this keyboard and 3 buttons are not working. Menu, Songs and Tone. Am I missing anything here before I return it?
Awe the PT30, still have mine
Jeremyy!! I fell in LOVE with the first song you played. May I ask what song it is? Hoping it is not too late for a reply 😅. Cheers 🎉
What’s the difference between the cts400 and the 410?
Excellent review, Jeremy! For the CT-S400 or 300, will a DAW or soft synth detect the pitch-bend wheel? If so, can it be mapped to a mod-wheel function? Thank you.
I own cts 300 and yes daw detects midi signal for pitch bend
Hello Jeremy, How I can I do to get your Song Book, Thank a lot..
Ctx9000in and Yamaha i500 which one is better performance
I wood like buy a keabeard for begenning and learn piano what instrument i have to buy please? Thanksss
Does the CT-S400 has a Vox Continental-like tone?
Hi Jeremy! Thanks for your good reviews and clear opinions, I'm about to buy a new keyboard but can't decide between Casio CT-S400 and CT-S500 I would like to choose the one that has better quality sound.
What would be your advise for me?
The CT-S500 dude... It have a lot of sounds and some cool stuff
How does the grand piano sound compare with the Yamaha psr 373?
hmm, now they have the CT-S500...will you be doing a review of that in comparison? So many Casio models out right now!
can you loop your recording?
This keyboard looks great. I am looking to mainly using this as a Midi controller. Most of the Midi controllers I have tried in this price range have a terrible keybed action.
I thought buying the CTX-S400 would allow the best of both worlds.
Is this a smart idea?
I'm undecided between CTK-3500, CT-X700 and CT-S400. Which one is better?
i wanna buy myself a new casio piano but i am so confused as what is the difference between casios "ct-x" keyboards and "ct-s" ones. more specifically this, the casio CT-S400 and casio CT-X800... a little help anyone?
What voice are you using in the intro?
Im torn between the ct x3000 and the ct s400.theyre almost the same price in the UK.so I should go fpr the 3000 right because it has more features and higher polyphony
Hello sir. I'm a beginner that wants to learn piano, And my oh my have these Casio pianos that have grabbed my attention. I want to know which Keyboard offers the best piano sound out of the CT-S400 or the CT-S1. which one do you think has a more rich and pure piano experience.
If your focus is piano (and perhaps similar instruments like electric pianos) and not arranger features ("band in a box"), I'd go with the CT-S1.
CT-S400 has way more sounds, but most of them are rahter "generic" (from other Casio keyboars).
Many of the 61 sounds on the CT-S1 on the other hand are designed and tuned specifically for that keyboard. I think the DSP effects are also better on the CT-S1. I don't know weather that keyboard has more preccing power for DSP or weather the effects are just tuned more carefully.
Piano experience is very good without having to tweak anything. The piano sounds cover classic and contempoary piano music well.
CT-S1 also has a higher polyphony count, it can play and sustain more notes at one without "dropouts".
Be sure to get a sustaun pedal as well (doesn't have to be from Casio, the generic ones work just as well).
CT-S400 is the better choice if you want lots of options to tweak, rhythms, many sounds (especially sounds not related to piano) etc.
Jeremy also has a video that compares both keyboards directly.
Intro with Above All ❤️
When i saw the keyboard, i had no idea that it was a nostalgic series of keyboard,i just liked the price tag lol
Does CT S400 connect with Windows 7 ?
Good to see that you also cover gospel songs... Nice👍👍
It is better than casio ctx700 in sound?
I can pick up CT-S400 for the same price as CT-S1. I am most interested in piano sounds, but having other options is tempting. Are piano samples the same in both units? Or is there any advantage by going with S1?
Not enough variety
Can you try the chacha beat sir? Thank you ❤️
Hiii, can you help me out?
I wanna play Rush E but the 88 keys keyboard is too expensive here in my country, can an 61 keys work as well or not- thank you in advance!
Buy an used 88 key digital piano.
Came for the review, stayed for the serenade. 😄
Welcome aboard!
What's the title of the song in 5:55?
hello Jeremy, im hesitating between Casio CDP S100 and Casio CT S1. Would you give me some advices, I want to know which one sound better, in your opinion, thanks a lot!
Well if you’re into graded hammer action, the cdp is where it’s at. If you want a good keyboard with great pro sounds, without graded hammer action, the cts 1 is where it’s at. The cts series have some truly great sound.
Yes, I was torn between the exact two keyboards. I went with the ct-s1, because I am hearing amazing things about the unique and quality sounds for the money. I do wish it had weighted keys but I like the slim and lightweight nature of the keyboard and the overall design. I figure if I stick with the piano long enough I can upgrade later on to a weighted electric piano. And when i do that I may just go for a Previa.
I need help on choosing! I have zero experience on keyboard. And i am confused if i should get 100/200/300 or the 400. Which would be just fine for me?:(
300 or 400,but 400 is better, never 100 or 200.
If you don’t need ultra-portability, Casio has another keyboard which is up to $100 cheaper than the CT-S400 & LK-S450, has the same tones, rhythms, features, and functionality as well as the ability to save 32 registrations without sacrificing the lesson mode.
Please tell me the exact model
Thank you
Welp, guess this keyboard is now my pick, I was debating over choosing this or the CT-S1, the functions on the 400 is just much more suitable for my needs, guess it's tims for me to kiss goodbye to the Tape-flute and vintage sounds of the CT-S1 :
Great choice. Have fun!
Yep, too bad they didn’t put the tape flute and the CZ tones in the CT-S400… maybe later in a more advanced CT-S500?
Cts1 is great though, amazing sounds for a $200 board…
Hi Jeremy. The CTS400 just seems like a CTX700 thats been reconfigured for portability. You briefly mentioned that the keys feel better, but is it better enough to justify the additional cost? Maybe a headon comparison video, eh? Cheers!
They keys are noticeably better. 😉
@@JeremySee ... I best get hands on ... thanks!
I meant to get one of these but I bought an mx 49 from Yamaha. I’m still wanting one of these tho.
Praise God for your Videos.. :D Worthy is the review :P Love from Nepal :D
You are so kind
Thank you.
Can you transpose it? I haven't been able to find that function.
Thank you very much in advance.
All you have to do is press MENU, scroll through until you see SETTING, and then it'll be the first setting you'll see.
@@Mr.Face222 Thank you.
Does anybody know how to connect the CT-s400 to a macbook pro? I have the midi cable but it isn't working. I'd rather not have to go out and by the bluetooth option if I could just connect it with a cable.
Bluetooth won't work for that for recording purposes due to audio latency which should be inside 10ms. Do you have an audio interface connected and had a look at Logic Pro/Control Surfaces/Setup?
good for playing as a piano but pretty dismal as an arranger keyboard. The beats and fill-ins are left to be desired. This one is going back to Guitar Center
I am a 11 years old boy and want to buy the keyboard not piano from biginer to intermidiate piano player undrer 10,000 indian ruppese means around 170 us doleres.so i was going to buy casio ctx 700.I know that you alyays said not that to not buy casio ctx 700 but you recomended yamaha psr e373 in this prize range but i have a craze of that full size keys means there should not be space under all keys that yamaha has so i choose and not this but i want more i know that i am loosing the voice but i am aldi geting more functuns.what should i tell to my mummy to get me?please recomend.and i am thinking that to buy your corse means say to mymmy to get it.i love your videos and please reply.Bye have a nice day.
