A few questions:
1. Why do you mark it not for sale? This means others cannot share it.
2. Noticed your category is Free People. Do you alter the category in order to share to certain parties?
3. Why do you make the original price so high? What about the listing price?

And of course no answers. What I want to know is how does she reach out to 400 or more people and “email” which she quoted??? Great idea but so confused on how to actually finish the work
She did say she listed it at whatever the highest price PM would allow, which I assume is because it’s not an actual listing for sale. It’s eye catching that way I would expect. I think the size/ category choice may be altered based off what is popular/trending or what she has a lot of in her closet (most people search and the default is for PM to show most recently listed items, so that’s what made me think that). As far as the “not for sale” v “for sale,” I believe that’s just logistics related to how you post items. Not sure. I’m just doing research before opening my store.

Really enjoyed this video! I’m not sure if you touch in this on other videos, but I’m be really interested to know what your profit margin is after COG and Posh fees. We’ve considered doing these kinds of sales, but we’re not sure our margins could support it.

ALENA LYDIA hi! That’s awesome! I also started selling my own stuff for what I would personally pay for them if I was a seller. Experiment with prices and you’ll start to get the hang of it. You can also look at the recent Sold items for an idea on pricing

I literally get only 1 to 2 sales per month on PM. I hate it!
I guess if you buy by pounds or you put very high price you can go 50% off other way if I pay 7-10 $ in Goodwill for item and put low price I would make nothing
Luba R I understand what you’re saying but this is just an idea for a sale. Your sale could be totally different , example Bundle 2 items and get 30% off, how you run the sale is up to you. This is just an idea on how you could potentially make the concept of running a sale on poshmark work for you.
