Really liking this one. Would love to see how the jersey and brass work together. Obviously a jersey goes over this armor but then how does the brace attach?
I am 6 ft tall and about 165 lbs, I got this from overseas at a discount in a large and it seems to be pretty loose, almost baggy. The padding slides around on everything except the chest and the back protector slides up and down. Maybe I am just too skinny. It's my first set of protective gear so I am not sure. Everything I read on this piece said 6 ft tall = L/XL. I wish I would have got a medium but I will keep it and see if it fits me better in a year.
Love leatt products in general. However This low profile products are cool to see, however when you wear them, you will sweat, and will have to wash it, how many times can you disassemble it before it breaks, and also this thing moves all over the body, if you dont have a V-shape type of body.! I you have a little belly like mine that thing is going up all the time.!
motoboy 22 yeah , i don’t think i would help. That thing is way too hot, needs more ventilation. I had it on for like 30min I wasn’t even riding and i was sweeting. In general i love leatt they have great products, however this lineup or protection I really dont like, too much money for wat u getting.!
motoboy 22 after I returned that one, I went for the LEATT 5.5 PRO HD ROOST DEFLECTOR. Which is much much better, the feeling is great, it feels solid in ur body, it doesn’t move at all. It so easy to take off and put on.
3DF pads are present ONLY on elbows and shoulders and on the top removable part of the back which you have to remove in case of wearing a neck brace. The whole rest and what is the most important the back and the chest IS NOT 3DF. It is ordinary plastic or foam which is not highly absorbable. No chances that it could save you from a critical hit.

Wrap clear hockey pad tap to make it tight to your liking
Does it protect well the lower rib cage? Looks like there is some protection missing on the sides, like on the 5.5
Sorry for my question... is this device suitable for motorbikes only? Or it can be used for mountainbiking too? Thanks.
Yes, it can be used for Mt bikes but if you're peddling, I think it would be really warm. For cold weather and downhill it would be fine.
what is the weight of the armour?
From 1.628kg (3.59lbs)
Hey Chase! Is this more low profile/comfortable than the Alpinestars V2 full body protector? Or would you go Alpinsetars? Thanks
So if I put this on first, then put my jersy on , how do I connect the neck brace with my jersy in the way ?
You have to push your collar to the side and pull the tabs out.
For you between the Airfit3df and the Airfit3df Hybrid, which one to choose?
I'd probably go with the 3DF hybrid. - Chase
@@rmatvmc thanks for your advices

It seems it would be better if they made it longer like a Jersey so you could tuck it in.

Do you have a version of the body tee airflex stealth that has hard plastic like this?
The only option in the stealth is the soft body armor.
Mine comes with some kind of an air bag on the elbow protection, i looks a bit strange, is this normal?
Thanks in adv
Is it compatible with the neckbrace 4.5?
How do you wash these?
Hand washing in the sink is the recommended way to wash these.
Good for riding on a Sunday
Are there any model with no neck brace thing
Do you think this breathes as well as the 3df airfit pro? I want the hardshell but worried wearing it in summer.
Yes, the base material is very similar with the two. I think they'll breath pretty close to the same. - Chase

Just hand wash with soap and water and you're set!
@@rmatvmc but do we need removed the 3DF protectors before?

@@rmatvmc amazing!!! Thank you thank you!!
No kidney belt 🫤
Anyone know if you can wear a kidney belt with this?
Leatt protectors are awesome. Until the zipper starts popping (on your second ride), and you have a $200+ piece of trash.
hahaha what? Just send it back and get a new one?
