Ok Olaplex has no protein so idk what he’s talking about. If anything what’s making ppl’s hair dry is all the silicone in their products from overuse & not clarifying/detoxing.
some of the olaplex products have protein e.g. olaplex 4c, olaplex no 6 so he's right. you use it too much and it's bad
@@toyinaina6747 Girl no, I have a bottle of Olaplex 4c- again there is NO PROTEIN in it. Lol Also, in this video he’s actually talking about No. 3 vs. K18, both are the known bond builders for each brand, so not the shampoos or stylers, etc. The video title doesn’t say “No. 3” so I can see your confusion. As for No. 6, yes it has protein but it’s literally the 22nd ingredient on the list, so very little! Even if you overused that it probably wouldn’t do much. 4c is a clarifier so the only bad thing that can happen with overusing that is your hair becoming dry.
Olaplex shampoo contains ONE PROTEIN that’s HYDROLYZED VEGETABLE PROTEIN other products don’t contain PROTEIN 😮
@@lovelite6737 That may be No. 4. That’s not No. 4c. Again I’m sure it’s very little. If overusing it, more damage would probably come from all the silicone in it vs. the hydrolyzed vegetable protein.
@@lovelite6737 That protein is a high molecular protein so it does build up, in particular on lower porosity hair. So if those grils have low porosity hair and are using it with protein somewhere else in the regimen like leave in it would explain. I only have that protein in one leave in and my hair Felt sooo dry the first 2 times I used it so had to give it up to buy another one after realizing the pb. I only use low molecular weight protein on my hair nowadays like silk proteins or amino acids as we all need proteins for hair strength. Just need to find the right one for your hair type.
Funny that he says that olaplex has "too much protein" and then proceeds to say that k18 is full of peptides (which is protein)
To his credit, he did differentiate between the fact there were multiple different types of peptides in K18 vs Olaplex
Olaplex, at least the treatment number 3, doesn't have protein.
K18=HORRIBLE FOR CURLS AND TEXTURE. Olaplex isn't protein. It is hydrating. But balance is everything
Why do you say that?
If you don’t have chemically treated hair do not use bond builders all the time
Hmm, Think this was the wrong person to ask.
K18 is full of protein thoooo 😏
Olaplex does not have protein, and it is also not a protein treatment.
I know a style that uses both in a treatment.
I wounded what would be the reason 🤔
Did he just graduate or is he licensed at all ? Olaplex does not have a lot of protein
Seeing this video reminds me why I love being a stylist - witnessing transformations like these is what it's all about. Nutree B24 helps me deliver these kinds of results consistently. Its innovative formula restores elasticity and shine, making hair more manageable and healthy-looking.❤
Olaplex doesn’t have protein
Dude is repping for K18 🤣🤣🤣
