Cool Patrick! Leather Keychains were one of the first things I made along with knife sheaths for the knives I make.

Good. I cut and engraved leather with the mk1 no problem.
are they belt clip key chains
You could get the right hardware to make that style no problem
Hi Patrick made some key fob for my son with Ford focus r/s engraved on it but I have noticed that there is some soot coming off the words, can you tell me if you sealed your engraving with anything to stop this from happening.

i did not seal it, i rinse with water then wipe clean after engraving.

I've heard some people will soak leather in water before engraving. Is this something you recommend?
I like to rinse on both sides first. Then rinse after engraving. Definitely recommended
