I've watched your video over and over and am simply in awe. As a duck hunter I would like to say thank you for sharing this with us. Thanks also for sharing the main components. I am almost done with my replica of Robert and will be sure to post it here upon completion. It is not as professional as yours. Your skills are much more refined than mine. I plan to try it out in the coming weeks and I'm sure it will pull in the green heads.
that is awesome man.... looking forward to seeing the parts list for the tamiya gear box part number.... seems way more realistic then a spinning wing decoy
Looks good dusquin410, Im from New Zealand and love my duck shooting. I have already shaped the body and head but would be real keen to see a picture of the mechanics. If you have the time to send them it would be much appreciated. Cheers for ya help and sharing your idear, keep up the good work!
For anyone wanting to get one banded mallard company makes the frenzyfeeder2 its the same way just make less noise and more waves but that I dead is so awesome
No, I have only made 2.The parts and pieces, except for the battery which is about $30 are cheap and I would be glad to help anyone interested in duplicating them. I have too many unfinished projects in my head and too little time.Maybe we could find someone in china that could crank them out...
The gearbox is a tamiya 72004 worm gear set, available from tower hobby for $11. The battery is a Hydrimax 4.8v 4200 mah nickle metal hydride battery. I do not have any plans, I do have a two dimensional prototype used to get the mechanics right that I could send you a picture of. The flywheel, connecting rod and head lever were all scratch built of brass wilt oilite bushings.
We have been looking for a movement decoy like this for our creek spread. There is never wind there due to the tree coverage. Can you please sent me some plans and the component names. Thank you
Hello sir, I have just come across this video. Please send me a message on here, I believe this UA-cam video would stand in place of an inventors journal and contest a current patent. Thanks!
Dude quit your day job!!! Make these and sell them!!! I would buy one right now!! Stop letting Hacks steal your idea!!!!! Your Idea you make the profit!!!!
