This past June 2022 I flew in from Atlanta and had no idea LGA had been renovated.. rebuilt.. and was amazed! I expected dark and cramped.. At first I thought.. “is this… the right airport?” I’m going back in a few weeks!
Thank you for the great video! The new terminal is absolutely amazing. It's very European in how well it uses all the space and levels. And that Sky Lounge! Good stuff my man!
What a masterpiece of a video, Peter. I flew out just one day before the first day it was open. Arrival was exciting but it's so cool to see the full tour!
Flying out of la Guardia next month for thanksgiving. I used to work in the old terminal, I’m pleased the government finally took action. The new facelift is absolutely astonishing 💕
Beauty, they say, lies--- "in the eyes of the beholder" ! Peter, YOU have that vision to capture the aesthetics on ground at the terminal, and of course, needless to overemphasize, the supreme perspectives of our planet beneath that you have been presenting us once airborne, along with the technical underpinnings elucidated ! The new "avatar" of LGA Terminal C is simply stunning--- especially the surprising, positive visual impact gives one jolts of joy, after comparing with its previous counterpart (which is history !). Even in this breeze-through of LGA Terminal C you have so meticulously noted so many features which normally would go unnoticed. You always have made aviation an enjoyable, lively, vibrant experience and not some run of the mill travel !!! Bravo! Please keep up the Good Work !
Guess what... I will be traveling from ORD to LGA in the 4th week of this August ! Hope to see the new rejuvenated LGA ! Thanks for taking the time to reply !!! Please keep up the Good Work !!!
😃" HELLO PETER!..... Glad to see and hear Someone very enthusiastic and pleased about the new LaGuardia transformation. Nowadays, so many airport users are so quick to look for a reason to find fault and gripe about new airport improvements and upgrades. Just like the Wandering Israelites in The Book of Exodus, there's simply no pleasing them. You're definitely a ' breath of fresh air ' . Best Regards! "
Good work, Peter. Like you, I am excited about the refurbished LGA. It is now a sensational airport. Now the New York authorities need to build a train connection from LGA to NYC.
Thank you, Peter, for your dazzling videography of the completed Delta Headhouse at LGA. I was there a couple of days after the opening. As you noted, the Terminal C is not yet fully completed and some old D gates are still in use, which are even more miserable than ever because the shops and restaurants in that area are closed. Passengers should be prepared for sky-high prices in the new restaurants. The architecture and art are gorgeous, especially the changing LED display panels above the TSA checkpoints. The airconditioning and ventilation are superb throughout the new sections. There is a lot more long-corridor walking to do than in the old Terminals C and D, and the stop for the Q70 LaGuardia Link bus is a long hike from the headhouse. But overall, the new headhouse and concourses are simply fabulous!
Wow. At 1:31 all I saw was "Sex Burger" and had to go back to see it again, but realized there was more to the sign. What a transformation of LaGuardia!
We just came back from a week in NYC. I loved the clean and open look of LGA. I did walk quite a bit more than previously however everything was easy access. I was sad to see some of the "pandemic" restaurants and shops that closed since my last (2020) visit.
the security going through there is so much smoother, I like that new age mural 8:44 you can tell its intentionally reminiscent of old art deco style murals of workers
Wow is right! Truly world class! I was also fortunate enough to have seen the work progress since 2020, last time I used the airport was on a departure back home to Omaha last February. Cool update! Now I really, really want to visit that SkyClub! - Red
Thank you for uploading these videos and for wonderfully narrating your flight trajectory. Do you ever fly to the west coast of Florida such as Tampa or Sarasota? If you ever do I would appreciate it if you could please upload a video of your flight to either of those cities. Thank you Peter for your wonderful and hard work!
Agree with many of the positive comments in this nice video. More gates allow for more timely departures so I think that is the real benefit. There are some negatives to Terminal C, specifically if you have a departure from the distant gates , they are very long walks. Where are the moving sidewalks to serve these areas? ( gates 61,66, 97 ) Even the signs posted after TSA entry state 11-15 minute walks to these gates. With children/carry bags/ elderly , a real trek. And that jet bridge walkway to gate 61 featured in this video, that is an uphill incline to get there, though a temporary access for now. Also, I take the q70 bus to LGA and nearest bus stop is at west end of old terminal C. Travelers using the q70 must backtrack to new Terminal . A makeshift bus stop really should have been made in front of new entrance, though I guess there will be one after construction zone is cleaned up. From bus stop to clearing TSA to departure gate, I clocked 24 minutes walking a normal pace and no line at all at TSA. For now, I prefer Terminal B American flights as that terminal is finished and a better match for me.
The new Terminal C at LaGuardia looks stunning I can't wait to see it in person one day! So now that you've seen both the new terminals at LGA which one do you like better B or C and why do you like that one better than the other?
@@PeterMasella I haven't seen C yet so I won't know until I see it in person! I did see B this past March it was really nice and I love their cool fountain they have! It wasn't turned on when I was there unfortunately! 😕 But both are really nice much big improvement from the old LGA!
Interesting that a majority of airports in america are being redone, whether they need it or not. All of that government free money and also the government subsidized airline gate fees. Sorry but, compare the best airports in america to the best airports anywhere else.

It's such a great place now!
It's so mind boggling wow. Cannot believe it's night and day
So true!
I'm flying to LGA on American on Friday at 6:30 am out of O'hare.. Say a prayer for those people shoot in Highland Park at the 4th of July parade.
Thanks for making this video. This is the most informative video about the new terminal I have seen.
Thank you for watching! I appreciate it!
Some amazing aerial views you got for us! Excellent video man 👌🏾
Thanks a lot!
Can't believe that's Lag. Shocking. It's beautiful! Thanks, Peter.

Great tour! What a beautiful terminal.
Music was very nice as usual.
Thanks so much!
What an amazing transformation! It’s truly a far cry from what was once in use. Thanks for the great look!
Thanks for watching!

There are plans to build an Airtrain to the 7 at Mets-Willets to let Long Islanders go to LaGuardia easier
Lol wait a couple decades. It's very easy to get there and close to Manhattan.
Thank you for sharing..
Thank you for watching..
@@PeterMasella You are welcome.
I have not been in the Billion Dollar terminal area yet!! It looks nice there.
Just went today - amazing is an understatement!
So true!
Thank you for the video. I never like LaGuardia, but maybe after the renovation, I may give it another try.

Finally, been waiting for this Peter... you know it mate!
Thank you!
Excellent content! Beautiful transformation of LAG! Well deserved makeover. New subscriber.
Thanks for the sub!
Wow. At 1:31 all I saw was "Sex Burger" and had to go back to see it again, but realized there was more to the sign. What a transformation of LaGuardia!
That sign is now gone! LGA is still transforming!
Wow beautiful new terminal 👍🏻👍🏻
Sure is!
top notch as always
Thanks so much!
Wow, just Beautiful❤️❤️
Thanks for watching!
I can't wait to fly out of the new terminal. Can't believe that is Laguardia. Great video.
Thanks!
Thanks Peter! Hows the power/USB outlet situation?
I don't know. I always carry a portable charger.

I already booked my flight from NY to DTW via Delta Airlines at LGA airport. I'm soooo excited. Love from Philippines
So excited for you!

Love your videos Peter!
Thanks!
Another awesome video!
Thanks!!!
Let's not forget to thanks the men who built this...I mean the physical part & design engineering
What amazing work they did!
Nice video and congratulations on being the human being who actually wants to be at (Flushing's) airport at 5 AM.
I love LGA! Thanks for watching!

If I ever do I will! I have flown to TPA many times.
What is the distance to JFK airport..Peter it's useful video
Do you know where the public buses stop at the terminal?
I do not, sorry. But from what I hear they are not very close.
glad to see a new vid, I hope you are well?
Doing well! Thanks!
Agree with many of the positive comments in this nice video. More gates allow for more timely departures so I think that is the real benefit.

I wouldn't really call it stunning but certainly a huge improvement.
A lot better than the old one
wow! gj LGA!
Looks cool I’d like a side by side to what the old terminal looked like. It’s been years. Also, Why the mask?
Miss you.
i cant be the only one that saw that sign 1:31
That sign is no longer there! Lol
Isn’t Terminal B the new one though?
Both B and C are new terminals. I also have a video about the new B on my channel.
@@PeterMasella Shame they didn’t integrate them a bit better architecturally. The original renders had C flowing into B if I remember.
This is how the New Terminal A looks in Newark.
Cool!
President Trump has always said our airports needed updating. LAG and EWR need it the most.
7:28 threw me off with the music i thought i was taking a survey for a second
lol
I greatly prefer terminal B
Why's that
wow I am surprised how US government spend that amount of money for their citizens , LaGuardia is mostly regional , instead of Tourist spots😂
LOL it's not just tourists, it's daily commuters.
The mask is ridiculous.
Interesting that a majority of airports in america are being redone, whether they need it or not. All of that government free money and also the government subsidized airline gate fees.

Thank you Trump!
Lose the mask, honey.
