Because a lot of those young guys don't have the passion he spoke of. They don't want to learn or listen. They just want to play wrestler and hit their "cool" spots, whether they make sense or not.

Put some discipline back into this business and get these guys to earn their spot and not act like spoiled children anymore. Adam Page has been a perfect example of someone who refuses to listen to veterans and that's why he's just floating around doing nothing.
I totally agree with you, but Punk was the exact same way in the WWE, I believe it was 2005, he blew off Arn Anderson from some lecturing, and Tony Atlas was yelling at him at the Davis Arena a week later, because he now about that. I'm just going to say this. Seems like CM Punk has spoken his side of how things played out, and that's fair. He's had to listen to people call him unprofessional, and he clearly snapped. It happens to us all. However, the fact that Tony Khan allowed this to happen at one of his media scrums makes Tony look like an idiot. He should have squashed this backstage months ago when he had a chance. It doesn't really feel like Tony can control his wrestlers. That in of itself is a huge problem.
This is why you need a Vince, but without the unnecessary bullshit.

@@WalkWithWyatt When they hired Regal, I truly believed he was going to be hired as the main booker of the promotion, or at least become the main advisor, like Tony's right hand man. I'm not complaining about the work he did with the Blackpool Combat Club because I think it's one of the best stables AEW has created, but Regal has such a tremendous amount of experience and he went through all aspects of the business, there's a lot of wasted potential here to simply have him as one more guy on the roster.

This whole time we've only heard from the Bucks camp and the other side's story, now we get to hear from the man that's been accused of everything under the sun. The fact is Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks are not a massive draw of fans and always believe they are the top guys when they aren't. They do belong there and put on some great matches but that could be said about a lot of people on rosters in all companies who never held titles.

I believe the reports back then were that punk refused to pay Scotty his part of the earnings and so Scotty ended up suing him. I don't know something's not adding up here
He quit WWE january 2014.first Raw after Royal Rumble , got suspended for no showing and later in june the same year they terminate his contract and send him letter of termination.He did pocast with Colt same year in October or November something like that and they of course were friends. After wwe sued Colt and Punk in 2015.they go through this bs what Punk said . Didnt know details but I know that doctor sued both and I dont know what happened later.But this is time frame. Nothing like Punk said 2013 or 2014.In 2013 he was still in WWE .

@@NateMonoxide I would disagree on terms of how hard they worked. I think all of them had roughly the same level of difficulty but, under different circumstances. Punk struggled to warm himself to a lot of higher up people throughout his entire time, Cena had the same problem at first but during the last half of his time there struggled to get fans on his side, and Miz struggled to get the entire locker room on his side because of how he got into wrestling. So I'm not saying one struggled more but that they did overcome strong challenges.

Punk had a falling out with Colt Cabana. Colt Cabana who was barely used in AEW got moved to ROH EVP's use that as an excuse to bury Punk to the dirt sheets and Page went into business for himself. The EVP's are probably threatened by Punk being more over then them, since they feed shit to Meltzer a lot of what he reports is there side of things which is where the internet marks get there information from so yeah.

Judging from this uhh... tell all? It's easy to surmise why TK has been stripping power from the EVP's. It all makes sense now, also tells of what the real reasons might have been that lead to Cody leaving. I didn't think it was just TK, he felt to me like he was just the fall guy in the drama that lead to Cody leaving.
So then who is really to blame if Punk and TK are sitting side by side, and TK is trying to take responsibility for what other guys did? By Punks own words, TK is a good guy in this situation and it sucks that he has to take up for his friends, which he fully understands.

As far as Punk goes out with a torn pectorial muscle and had surgery that takes him out for the rest of the year and part of next year . Whether he'll come back remains to be seen . Omega and TYB who knows ? AEW obviously moving on with business so there ya go .
