Haven't had ANY side effects 😊 I am on 1mg now and doing great. Weightloss is effortless. I DID change my diet to high protein, low carbs. Protein mostly from my food. NO sweets, salty food. NO fast food. I am also talking my multi vitamins, B12, pre and probiotics. I also do free weights. LOTS OF water throughout the day. Electrolytes also. 😁
The nurse did a mistake , so instead of giving me 0,25 the first time , she gave me 0,50 😑 I was womiting all day long , and I could not drink or eat ANYTHING at all!! Because it couldn't stay down.. Now I'm slightly nervous how it Will be next injektion 😢
the initial nausea I felt was mildly unsettling but it was insane how after sitting on the same dose amount because of my concern of the nausea, my body was like "wegovy who?". Had to hop up a dose to keep cravings away.
I've had slight nausea but that has reduced in the past three weeks however the constipation is bad! Started fiber/metamucil to try and help. I'm hoping it helps. I understand that it slows the stomach emptying however, how long is healthy for "stuff" to stay in there?
The heart palpitations are scary at times. The nausea I feel makes me wonder if this is even worth it. I feel so bad but look so good. Was 170 by second dose I was 165. Side effects are horrible for me. Insurance did not approve me for Zepbound.
So just as an update and many doctor's appts, the heart palpitations usually come after bouts of vomitting - due to dehydration. Its hard to stay hydrated when I'm vomitting but I try to eat apple slices, and other fruit/vegetables high in water. I can't really hold water down, but oddly enough I can eat ice. I am on and off wegovy. I have enoug in my refrigerator to last for the rest of the year because I have decided to skip weeks. I am down to 145 height 5'3 size 8. Highest weight 215 size 16.
After the global shortage of Ozempic, thankfully wegovy is available. My last Ozempic those was back in June and I started Wegovy yesterday. I completely forgot about the side-effects of the nausea and retching is uncomfortable. I’m just taking peppermint oil capsules to provide some relief. I’m sure it will pass and like Ozempic, I was very pleased with a Weight loss results.
Took my first injection 1.7 yesterday and have had major vomiting since 1am, last episode was at 5:00p. I can’t drink anything eating anything is not a thought. I had to start on this dose because they are out of the smaller doses. Has anyone else experienced major vomiting. I can’t even sit up. Help! Please tell me this gets better 😔
I had those same side effects when I started last week. Was vomiting for 2 days straight. However on the 3rd day my body adjusted and I started feeling good. Took the second dose this week and only vomited once. Your body will naturally adjust to it.
wegovy 1.7 made me violently ill, even though I was not eating. I only drank small amounts of water, but I vomited all day. Extreme bloating nausea, headaches, tiredness, constipation, and dehydration. I left Wegovy and tried Zepbound. No side effects with Zepbound.
My side effects are virtually non existent. 3 weeks of no symptoms and suddenly I get occasional waves of nausea and a mild stomach ache in the evening after eating
That a diabetic drug that helps with weight right? Except people using it aren't diabetic? Like prescribing Propranolol for anxiety even though it causes massive cardiac side effects, especially if you quit
The first dose of Wegovy was fine, unable to get the next step up, I asked my dr for the 1.7. I have never vomited so much in my life, dehydrated I tried to drink water, but vomited it up. It scared my husband, he wants me to discontinue. But I’m wondering if I will continue to suffer such serious nausea if I do continue…..
Can someone explain to me why this drug is not working on me... i feel like quiting and looking for an alternative route. So ive been on this drug for a year or so and i did lose some weight but then gained it back when i started my antidepressants now i cant lose weight i go down 5 or so punds the gain 2 back and lose 3 gain 1 lose 2 gain 2 its all over the scale and feeling 🤬 is not worth it... i feel exhausted.
Is anyone experiencing THIGH CRAMPS? I just started taking WEGOVY injection for Weightloss last Thursday. Tomorrow will be a week. And Ian experiencing the worst back and upper thigh pain. Something like a Charlie Horse pain.
What can we take for the side effects?…. This is going to be my last week taking it if I can’t get these side effects under control the nausea, diarrhea/ constipation, bloating, belching, acid reflux, & stomach cramps are too much! I’m on week 10..

No heart palpitations but nausea and vomiting now for three days. Will not be continuing as I feel horrible!

I inject 5pm on Friday so I can be sick through the weekend. It's horrible.

Try peppermint tea .. before each meal ... It helped me a lot specially when my stomach is empty

Those possible side effect are the same as every medicine advertised on tv. Why so shocking all of a sudden?

Taking any drug strictly for weight loss is just stupid.
