As someone else mentioned, the dev video answers a lot of questions, But specifically- they mentioned that all numbers in terms of damage values, cooldowns, stacks etc are nowhere close to final. They want people to try the weapons out and test how they feel, not specially be concerned about being under/overpowered. Once they determine the ideal weapon feel, then they will adjust damage values accordingly
That's fair, that's what I expect. I think a lot of my thoughts are pretty much the same - balance aside, the third set for the dw looks by far the most interesting.
Deaths can be like how Zuk handles it, youre not getting that Igneous stone if you lobby or die. But you do get some general loot, kc (if you eventually finish it) and the encounter finishes. So no major penalty, just entices you to not die to practice and get better so you can hit that giga loot table
This the issue about their releases: they keep you in a gaslighting situation where you wonder all day long what content will they actually realease... then the hype turns crap real quick. Man every time they do this "surprise" updates like idk what good thing to say 🙅🏼♂️
Bad luck mitigation for NOT dying please
The dev video answered several of your questions. Might be worth a listen if you find time. Like the number values, afk concerns, etc.

Woulda rather have an effect that reduces cool down of tsunami and the offhand reduced wep special cool down or passive / stacks
My question is do you think that they will scale the upgrades to t99 or cap us out at t97
