@@nikkorivas6091 so depending where you live, it’ll vary. I started with a DSP. In an official Amazon marked van/truck. Had to take a break from 200+ stops per day due to personal health issues. Now to continue paying bills, I do flex and other hustles. I pick up a 4 hour route every single day 7 days/week for $108. Most of the time I’m sent out an hour away. (I live in North Dakota) I can get 4 hour routes done in an hour and a half. Then I pick up another route if available. Supposed to blizzard today and tomorrow witch flexers don’t like to drive in it. So more jobs for me cause I’ll drive in it. Two jobs per day, $216/day. For 4 hours of deliveries as I always get 4 hour route done in 1-2hours. Except the routes where each stop is 15+ min apart. Those routes suck.
We love Amazon flex it’s becoming our top favorite next to spark. Our last shift was 44 mins away we do live in a high traffic area we also had 44 packages we finished 1 min early lol. Only thing about flex is Night Shift lots off ppl do not have their Address visible so definitely need a flashlight. Other than that it’s great we will be doing plenty more shifts 💪🏼💪🏼

My husband and I do our shifts together... we put all packages 2-10 usually in front, he runs them up... then we have 11-30 in the backseat, not completely organized but like all the 10s on one side, 20s on the other, and the rest in the back... basically like zones. Doing Flex for a few months and if a route is more than 30 mins away I refuse the route. Ive done this a few times and they still give me offers. There comes a point where the gig is not profitable.

It’s really hit or miss depending on the area. Yesterday was 26 miles one way to deliver a single package for 3hr route. Nice and quick. Today was 102.19 miles for 12 stops in the middle of Wisconsin and 54 miles to return home. 3 hour route done in 3 hr 54 sec…. With an hour drive back. Really sucked and couldn’t claim the return miles or time. I’ve had several of these and Amazon NEVER reimburses you even at Fantastic rating.
I am about to start working with a DSP but i stooped doing flex because i was never making much and always getting blocks that took longer than expected. and lyft just pays better than flex time wise
I live in the Bay Area and packages havent been so heavy. I just started. 5 hour block I have about 30ish stops. I picked up a last minute shift for about $120 and had 1 package next day I had a 5 hour route and go 9 stops.
Watch the app while you wait at McDonald's for a Doordash order or whatever lol. They do surge the blocks way before the last minute, I get them hours or a day in advance sometimes, but someone will grab them if they get to the local threshold and you have to watch to know what that is. Only exceptions are for days people really don't want to drive, be outside, or be away from family for various reasons
I started two weeks ago, and I just had my easiest (and worst) route ever yesterday. 4 packages, 4 stops, 3 hours, $70. It was the first time getting to the warehouse and having to wait for a route. Which isn’t too bad because I spent no time organizing or dealing with the cart. But of course the first stop was far. About 40 minutes away, but it was only 4 packages, so whatever. Unfortunately the gps on the Amazon app messed up and I missed the exit. Because there was no exit where it was telling me on the app. And the next was 10 minutes out of the way. So I lost 20 minutes there. Luckily the second stop was only a few minutes away and the third was just one street down from there. And then I got seriously fucked. The fourth stop was in an entirely different area. I’ve always had packages within a similar vicinity. This 1 package was 50 minutes out from where I was. And from there I was another 30 minutes from home. 128 miles. Has anyone else had this type of route? I still don’t understand why they gave me that one package for a completely different area.
Same here!!! Today was my first time doing flex I had a route early morning 41 packages 5 hours $90 I got done in 4 hours. I just had a evening block $96 3 hours 6 packages took almost the entire 3 hours. They were so spaced apart. Horrible

Signed up for Flex here in Minneapolis, there's been no spots. Tried the Target Shipt package delivery, and most of the routes are crap. I'd only do them if there's a bonus available. 15 minutes to get there, wait 10-15 to get in, 10 to put everything in your car organized (the way I do it), then actually start the route, it's like an hour overhead on bad days.
I just had my first 2 really bad blocks today. They were both 45 min 46 miles away $107 and $92.50 30 miles with 22 stops and 15 which were 5-10 miles apart. The 2nd one made me want to quit no gas stations the roads are farm roads in souther ill which are terrible plus I'm an hour from home after. I got them done early but the drive to the first drop is what kills it. Esp when people are telling me I'm by your house and you're going out by my house. They want my route and I want there route😡. Its kinda dumb.
Do you pay for the flex driving insurance? Hire or reward or. Whatever it’s called? And how do you do it,? Daily ...monthly for instance? Great informative vids btw! 👏
As an independent contractor, with your home as your business location and the location where you accepted the shift to deliver packages, shouldn't the miles from your home to the warehouse count as tax deductible too? You aren't actually commuting at that point, you are driving unreimbursed miles to the 1st stop on your route. The fact that you are following the app directions to the location to pick up the packages would indicate that you are already under their control and therefor "working".
I only do 2hr blocks and grocery orders. Had a block where I had 39 stops for a 4 hr and then 43 stops for a 3 hr, plus 30 minutes away. It just seems like the longer blocks can be a headache most of the time. Whole food orders and Dash, most profitable in my opinion 💯

I signed up but I’m very afraid that I may end up delivering to a dangerous area? What should I do if I have a delivery to a dangerous area? It’s not worth my life or safety. At least with Uber eats I know the area.
You would have to decline the route after you scan your QR code at the warehouse. The staff might not give you another route from what I've hear though plus too many rejects could lead to deactivation
they deactivated my account and I did appeal many times but can’t work with them no more , how I can do to get back to amazon Felix ? Plz help if you can thx
Why did they deactivate it? I did this years ago, they deactivated it bc after I stopped, I didn't update my license in time. When I came back to it, I had to call and they reactivated it.
Guys I want to ask you, if I do Uber eat order from Walmart in same time I take another order by Walmart spark, both delivery to same directions! do you think this is gonna work? Since Uber doesn’t track you
When you’re active on a delivery app, you’re being tracked. They will go back and investigate your location history during a particular delivery only if there was an issue or complaint from the customer or merchant. As far as picking up 2 different deliveries on two different apps at the same pick up location, as long as both drop offs are in the same direction it’s doable. If the drop offs are in opposite directions, it’s not a good idea since both customers can track you in real time. If you do accept both deliveries (going in the same direction), be sure not to acknowledge possession of the order on the delivery app until you have both orders in your possession. You may have to wait awhile to get the second order.
29 stops for just $22 an hour that really is less than that when you acct for taxes, gas, and wear on your car??? Youre making around $18 hour. Most of you are just getting fleeced by amazon. Hard pass on flex for me.
You're only getting fleeced if you take a low ball route like he did. I consistently get 3 hour blocks for $90+ with 15 - 20 packages. A lot of those routes take me right back to the area where I live.
Maybe it's depending on the area. But $90 for a 3 hour block sounds way way better. After taxes, gas and wear and tear put aside you're making at least $20 an hour.

I am trying to get a flex job for several weeks.. Can not get a meaningfull respons from them. Is there a secret way to contact them in Elkhart Indiana ? ?
30 stops is about an hour if you're fast.
That sucks!! When you factor in gas and wear and tear on your vehicle over time, devaluation from miles…. That’s a crap deal
Does anyone know how frequent the payouts are ? i’m too lazy to look it up
i would assume you get paid like every monday or something but any fast pay options??
They pay every Tuesday and every Friday.
Too lazy to look it up but spent triple the time to type the question on UA-cam. Makes sense.
In Florida, we pick 3 days a week... minus the weekends. I chose mon, wed and fri.. my payments are usually in my account on those days late afternoon.
If you delivering to down town are u just expected to pay for your own parking spot? Like bro i trying to make money, not use money while trying to make money
Signed up in LA area there's never any batches any tips on how to pick up a shift?
Any one know about Amazon flex encounted a technical error. Please try it again?
Trust me guys, Amazon flex isn't worth it at all.
Do you think a Bluetooth finger scanner will work with flex?
What documents I need to work with amazon flex?
I signed up but I’m very afraid that I may end up delivering to a dangerous area? What should I do if I have a delivery to a dangerous area? It’s not worth my life or safety. At least with Uber eats I know the area.
You would have to decline the route after you scan your QR code at the warehouse. The staff might not give you another route from what I've hear though plus too many rejects could lead to deactivation
Do you have any heavy duty parcel to deliver?
i just joined amazon flex and i never see any offers at all on my app, anyone else having this problem??
It's probably slow in your area
they deactivated my account and I did appeal many times but can’t work with them no more , how I can do to get back to amazon Felix ? Plz help if you can thx
Why did they deactivate it? I did this years ago, they deactivated it bc after I stopped, I didn't update my license in time. When I came back to it, I had to call and they reactivated it.
How does one become a driver for Amazon?
I just do doordash because how random it is
Driving one hour away to deliver one package is ridiculous. This Amazon Flex gig definitely sounds like a waste of time.
Yo mike man do they take out taxes already out your shift pay
@@broncobob36 I think I will try it and see how is goes, thank you
My Amazon flex account is deactivated can I het it back ?
Yes you can
@@benillasmith6697 how ?
@@eren1994. he will Activate it for you
@@benillasmith6697 who will ?
@@Praisekeeper I will come to America in 6 months. I'll do this job after I get my license. At least for a while. But I haven't decided which state to go to yet. A lot of people go to big cities, there are definitely a lot of blocks there. And you earn 3000/4000 monthly. Except for the costs, of course. The question I want to ask you as a friend is, Where do you think I can win best at places like Amazon flex doordash and Uber? Miami ? Chicago? Boston? Houston? I will be very pleased if you answer.
I don't wear the vest. Too many gig workers shot and killed these days and I have zero desire to advertise what I'm doing. Food for thought.
Amazon flex Freaking sucks, work overtime all the time and no pay also it's always driver's fault for being late.... Amazon blame everything on flex driver. Shady company and very unprofessional!!
Heading towards the DP Warehouse? Pause!
If anyone says they make money from Amazon flex, they better go to the math class again.end of the day you make only $20 or $30
and $30 for gas
Well now everyone knows this strategy. So anyone new is screwed lol.
22$/1h not bad
I hate gated communities and a lot of times they don't give the gate code. 🤬😡
Or it’s the wrong gate code or a million old gate codes still listed 😅
Mike...if at all possible I would like to have a discussion with you...I am in the same general area as you. My name is J.
hi my mike driver! i think i'm on the amazon flex waitlist for life. i'm in one of the top 5 biggest cities in usa i'm surprised i'm still on this waitlist..
You would be surprised about how many users signed up to drive for Amazon Flex. I was on the waitlist for nearly a year
