I've been writing my fic take on the whole "DrakeNier", starting by "Drakengard 3". I finished writing Five's chapter/verses a few days ago. Because of a few differences in this branch of mine, her last words before being possessed by Galgaliel were "Daddy". She was screaming for the man who was like a father to the Intoners to help her, hopeful Galgaliel, being an angel who possesses bodies, could somehow bring him back at the last second. Does this make it more tragic ?
@@Mortabluntthanks. The name is "Drakengard: [W]ild Dreams of Deluded Children". The first story in my "DrakeNier" series, which I designated as route W.
Definitely one of my favourite games and one of the weirdest experiences I had, even for Yoko Taro's standard. Sadly the game performamce was just horrendous. I'm not gonna spoil anything but I'm curious what your thougts on the final boss will be, since I have a love-hate relationship with it myself.
Ah yes this game. While i appreciate the lore that it introduced to the world itself, the game itself was such a massive disappointment to me. I couldn't even finish it with how broken it was and how much the FPS dipped
If you got a-OK computer, the RPCS3 can quite easily run it at steady 30fps, even at 4K res. I bet that 60fps patch is just a matter of time too. NieR already got one not too long ago.
@Lotus Prince yeah you can tell on this very video, it was the main reason i never beat the game. That and...well, it's inferior to the first game BY A MILE
@@Ashurman666 The first game is dull as dirt. The story is incredible, but otherwise, every level is exactly the same, and because levels are based on kills rather than experience, grinding just meant going to level 3 and killing a bunch of low level goons over and over again, for hours.
I love this game! Yoko Taro is just a gem!
For real!
She's half the woman she used to be
Doh ho ho!
The one game no one will truly beat on their own ...
unless you have the superior Asian genes or super powers.
I'll give it a shot!

This story sounds intense!

Hah I remember this game. Never did play the other scenarios. Still the voice acting and music are both good.
Indeed!

I really don't understand why the performance is so bad. So far, though, the story and characters are intriguing and entertaining. :)
@@lotus-prince That's good then, cause when I played it, it was lagging quite a bit and when you started your special mode it was even worse.

The FPS dips are brutal. They even happen in cutscenes.

@@GugureSux Maybe so, but I'd rather just play the PS3 game on the PS3. I only emulate when there's no reasonable alternative.
