I still remember feeling bad for Four when I first got to this point. Then I found out more about her and she became the character I liked the least in the entire Drakengard/Nier universe. But hey, well done on the game's part with that at least.
I know it’s strange to say but after four’s dlc I still feel bad for her sadly lol kinda, I mean she’s insecure person with issues and she’s young too 🥺
@@darlingxluxii7977I concur, she cared so much for her sisters yet resented herself for having resentments towards herself for having those resentments. She’s my favorite
Did not care much about that DLC much. That kind of ruined Zero’s complex motivations as a character when having to kill her sisters. There was no indication she was really like that in the main game….it felt like a cheap way to make her less sympathetic in comparison to zero. I liked it better when she was still nice and Zero had to kill her anyways…funnier that way too. Cause she knew that intoners by nature are very much volatile. They will eventually destroy the world.
Even if Four is a psycho and racist, I still feel bad for her. The reason she wanted so hard to connect to Zero was exactly because she thought of all people, she'd truly understand where Four was coming from, as they both hate the world and kill for their respective reasons as weapons.
I did kind of get a kick out of the "Did you really think that I was like this" bit, but at the same time, it's been one subversion of tropes after another lately.

Yeah, that's one thing this series does quite well: no one is likable. :-P

Yeah, all of the sisters have some sort of tragedy. Nobody is happy in Drakengard.
Zero and Michael feel like Rick and Morty…
Oh, man. :-D
@@lotus-prince "You look different Morty." "woah." "WooooAhh." "WooooAAAHhhh."
Ok we’re going in to kill Four just a 20 minute adventure
And the Oscar goes tooooo....
God damn, Zero's dialogue is just...cringe inducing

I really liked her English dialogue with Tara’s voice 🥺❤️❤️✨
Its plain Yoko Taro´s writing. Edginess and shock value every 3 seconds.
