      It really is! We will see how it holds up at the track

    I have the same issue with my lowered NC. Did these untimely help on the track and did you keep them? Did you do 10 or 15MM?

      Yes they did. Especially since I have no power steering. Coupled with my good shocks now, the car is definitely much improved on actual drivability, where I’m not fighting the wheel anymore. I can focus on driving line and throttle/ brake inputs. I did the larger amount at 15mm.

    I was unclear what bumpsteer is and found it is the toe change when the wheel moves up and down, causing the car to change directions. So the goal is to minimize the toe change with wheel movement.

      Correct! In the description I posted a video I really liked that explained it well at least to me it felt like.

    How are these holding up ? Would you recommend?

      Still holding up good no complaints. If your NC is lowered drastically then I recommend!

    The simplest explanation of bumpsteer is toe angle changes under shock compression. Hey Mitchel, what was your street drive impression?

    • @MitchelYardley
      @MitchelYardley  2 роки тому +1

      Initial driving impression is the car "seems" to be taking bumps better... as in the roads here are pretty bad lots of imperfections and divots. So It seems might car isn't darting to one side as easy... im sure it would be even better with the alignment perfect. I also noticed getting up to around 60-70mph and then doing a hard braking zone, the steering stays pretty straight, where before I would feel the steering wheel fight me? if that makes sense.

    Hey Mitchel, great video! I know you recently deleted your power steering; what are you thoughts on doing that to a street car? Yay or nay?

      Nay for a street car haha

      The NC has a really good power rack out of the box. Lots of feel and has good weight I definitely wouldn't want to delete it on a street car especially if you upgrade tires or wheel width and want to run lots of castor.
