Another great idea! You can keep the hose and tools inside. I am looking to cut the base off the basket version and use it to securely attach a vacuum to my stack.
I did that using locker anchor locks to hold the vacuum in place. Completely removable from the basket base. U will have to use plywood to build the base up, to clear the tube extensions when packed. Mount the anchors off center so the tubes don't interfere with the rolling tool box handle when stacked. I made a rolling base from the top part of the basket with the latchinghandles. This will allow u to lock your vacuum onto it so it will now roll.
So the pvc intake is under water? What is the notch for? Is that so it doesn’t stick to the bottom? Is there an optimal water level? I have an extra box that I could use.
