To me Robotech is Awesome just because of the music from Ulpio Minucci... turn into EPIC every single part where you see and listen. (Several years after try to see Macross, SC and Mospeada... and it is totally different... in my opinion), so an ETERNAL THANKS to Mr Minucci. Ah, incredible work in here. Thanks.
The F-14 was such a beautifully designed and epic machine, that multiple franchises used its profile as a base for their frictional mecha. I'm proud to say my grandfather was on the design team that developed it.
please show him this. My love of Giant Mecha wanes as I grow older. As you learn about physics and forces at play. You’d realize that this technology has to be incredibly strong, flexible and light weight. Able to handle re-entry heat and strong enough to break into orbit. Aerodynamic forces multiply as you switch into Gerwalker mode mid air. You then realize that only the ability to electronically control the air in specific zones is required to remove drag. Nose should rise and dip as the weight of the gun swings back and the legs kick down. Then you remember Robotechnology used protoculture antigravity and power generation along side classical Pure Thrust power. Meaning these have to be hybrid ionic pulse engines. Beneath the skin has to lay environmental encapsulation (ionic repulsion of air). Unless there is a high tech nano laced coating applied to the skin which allows it to prevent aerodynamic interference. The ability to use the protoculture core to generate these fields is most likely. They also would reduce the weight of the craft if it is always slightly hovering. Allowing many of the maneuvers you’d think would be accomplished by a helicopter. Are instead created by a combination of the hybrid fuel/ion dual engines and the small protoculture generator. Or more likely. Small protoculture generators located in each legs section, mid, and arm sections. The gun would also use such a micro-protoculture engine being designed into the casing itself. And it would be a rail machinegun so that the bullets don’t need propellants or casings and many more can be carried. The missiles themselves would also use this technology to be able to work in space and atmosphere. And probably cause the generator to explode as their force. Rather than a sam style aerial shotgun based weapon. Thou projectiles in a cone surrounded by the nose cone. Could be use to that effect.
Yes with a diverse cast free of white straight people. But there can be a white girl dating a black man as a straight couple who are in an open but breeding relationship
Childhood show i loved 430pm , I would love a Robotech movie this quality that wasnt filled with stupid ass cheesy jokes. A serious graphic filled movie
when you going to do other VF's like the VF-11 Thunderbolt the yellow jackets colour scheme would fit well in that VF (to be fair all the other VF's would also look great)

That old jet design has a huge RCS that will get shot down immediately by today's 5th generation fighters. Never mind the new 6th generation fighter from the US. This poor pilot wouldn't know what shot him, much less what snuck behind him. But it's still a beautiful design. It would be awesome to see what type of jet a new cartoon series would come up with taking into account 5th & 6th generation Jet technology in mind.

Cool but the tech behind these planes is already outdated, it was based on the F/A-18C Super Hornet, which is already retired (except for the usmc for some reason).

I watched Robotech, all 3 series, as a kid and it created a lifelong fascination with not only sci-fi, but also space, science, and what is possible.

Many talk about the 3 series but there were more than 3. Macross plus and Macross 7 come to mind.
