Our countdown includes Palutena from the “Kid Icarus” franchise (1987-2012), Bowser from the “Super Mario” franchise (1985-), Arceus from the “Pokémon” franchise (1998-), Ridley from “Metroid” franchise (1987-), and more! With the Warp Star, Kirby can run over 100 MPH.
Hyper Kirby can only last for few minutes.
Back in mid 1990s, the preadolescent Boo (simply known as Kid Buu or the original Majin Boo version) was obviously the 2nd most powerful version, but also both dangerous and uncontrollable, plus he was far beyond galaxy-level and billions of times FTL.

Also the warp star can travel faster then light when completely necessary. ALSO he was defeated by the thing that supposedly killed him in dragon ball. (Even though I haven't watched it).
But it is not TOTAL bs, in fact it isn't any bs, in one of the pause screens in one of his games it literally says that Kirby has INFINITE power. (Most likely to draw from)
ALSO Kirby can easily defeat almost anyone. Especially if they are largely constant of negative emotions or energy, which Kid Buu supposedly is.
Plus, for anyone that doesn't know.
In Kirby Lore, the most powerful energy in the universe is Chaos, and is actually what births most of the Gods/Primordial Beings that Kirby faces and kills.
But there's also entries that state Chaos CAN birth Good Entities. And that it wonders what they'd look like, but figures that they'd enjoy naps and food.

Samus should be on the list, she held up her own against the space pirates, x parasites, and Raven Beak.
One could argue that, but one could also argue that she only did so because of her weapons, whereas many on this list are accounting for a character's strength outside of their gear. Not to belittle Samus herself, since even the strongest of weapons are useless in feckless hands, but most of her feats are achieved more because of her power suit than her own strength.

@@vibesof303 I believe that would be redundantly specific. Especially since a lot of the characters probably weren't born with super abilities. They just belong to races that are more capable than an unarmed human in a fight. Regardless of that though, those abilities are their own, not the result of equipment. To take gear into account would be like saying a young child is stronger than a heavyweight boxer because the child has a gun.

Ever since using Kirby in smash brothers I’ve always found Kirby to be the most powerful character by far, The copy-ability alone puts him on equal footing with anyone.
Even Snake Pliskin and or Ganon or whoever.

Thats because you haven’t played any of the dlc characters yet there’s so many characters that are better than kirby. Kirby is good but not the best.

Kirby's feats and accomplishments are absolutely ridiculous when you look at them:
- Accidently blew up half the moon when defeating Nightmare
- Can crack the planet in half without a copy-ability
- Defeated Drawcia and Dark Crafter in a ball form
- He only takes a moderate portion of damage from getting sucked into a black hole Marx created
- Hypernova Kirby is so powerful that as he was sucking up Sectonia's final attack, he even sucked up her pedals, the floating platforms and broke the 4th wall by sucking up her health bar and then spat out a planet-destroying attack that destroyed Floralia
- Kirby destroyed two planet-size clockwork creatures by spitting Marx into it and then on the 2nd occasion used a Robobot to drive a massive drill through it and survived the ensuing explosion head one
- Star Allies gives us some sort of explanation of Kirby's strength by implying that he's actually a god of darkness but was exposed to positive energy at birth
Bowser almost destroyed the universe accidentally in mario galaxy 1 with his galaxy reactor
The lore behind Kirby is equivalent to some H.P. Lovecraft tales. Crazy stuff, no doubt he was on the #1
Other reasons why Kirby is freaking powerful:
He shattered entire planets!
He murders all powerful deities
He whacked a METEOR with a wooden baseball bat so hard it travels in LIGHTYEARS!!
Here's another powerful character I think of: Rosalina. Besides the incredibly beautiful look of her, she controls the cosmos like the goddess she is. She even turns her floating castle into a spaceship. And that is so what got me hooked on this out-of-this-world beauty

@@MegaFan5 This is a good point. The statements in this video are more about lore, rather than in-game statistics. This video itself even briefly brings up how most of Arceus' power comes not from his strength in battle, but his strength in story.

Pretty amazing. All those characters are certainly strong, especially Bowser and Kirby.
Kirby deserves number 1 but Link deserves a spot on this list
Also yeah Palutena is strong, but Hades and the Chaos Kin are confirmed stronger than her (mainly Hades because even with Pit's Great Sacred Treasure wasn't enough to defeat him and it took him and Palutena charging up their strongest blast to even beat him (which is implied he is still alive)).
Hell it took the efforts of 4 gods to even kill hades
What about Dyntos? he can create copies of every enemy from any army in the game which are much more powerful than the originals, even copies of gods like Palutena herself, and he create almost every weapon in the game including the three sacred treasures and great sacred treasure, If he had wanted, he would have ended the war on his own, even Palutena threat him with respect and seems to be nervous when talking to him trying to not get him angry.

At first I thought there's no way Kirby would be so powerful, but then realized he can escape from god powers and destroy anything in his ways and use the enemy's own powers against them. I also endure Arceus since it's the god of pokemon and the fact that it created a pokemon universe it is sure take on anything through space and time. The real question is who would win in a fight: Kirby or Arceus? Who do you think?

People disappointed about Byleth being in Smash not realizing he/she is OP as hell in Fire Emblem and Smash. That’s why he/she is my main.
Yes like people when talking about there power don’t realize that even if just talking base power (not including stuff like the the crest items as you can give them all the crest then) but they have magic of all elements, strength o a god, literally broke out of a pocket dimension when awakening fully which is very powerful thing to do but can also go back in time like 10 times per battle and can try all there different stuff and this going back in time works on death mean you need to kill them like 10 times
Forgot to care about the fact Byleth is strong lore wise, a waste of a character is still a waste, most ppl just want different characters than just lots of fire emblems.

Y'all already know Kirby is gonna' be #1. The prime video game example of the idea of appearances being deceiving.
I would have gone with Mario and Samus instead of Ridley and Bowser.
Bowser may technically be physically stronger in terms of raw strength (same with Wario), but Mario has some notable accomplishments. Tearing a castle out of the ground and discarding it in Super Mario World, being able to swing around Bowser like he is nothing in Super Mario 64, able to ground pound from such high distances and survive that in Sunshine, surviving a multitude of space related dangers in Galaxy 1 + 2, and taking on an actual realistic dragon and surviving (even if Bowser was unable to have full control of it). What he can accomplish with his brother in Mario&Luigi is also pretty impressive.
Also, Bowser almost died permanently in Galaxy and New Super Mario Bros DS. He does occasionally need magic to be brought back.
Samus has lead to the destruction of multiple planets (even if not all those cases were entirely her fault). She is no normal human; she a hybrid of a human and chozo. Making her more capable than the typical human and has access to technology not available to normal humans (there is concept art of a unused Galactic Federation version of her power suit and their version looks notably more bulky for obvious reasons). Especially with her new abilities in Dread. She has survived having phazon pumping through her veins and arteries. She is already threat in her power suit and is a major destructive force when fully powered up. She is also quite athletic despite running around a heavy suit in armor (at least in the 2D games).
Also, the real Ridley died in Super Metroid and any version of him after that in the timeline just simply shares the drive and memories of the original.

What makes Kirby all the more impressive is that he is literally only 8 inches tall!
Ridley is powerful, but I think the honor for that franchise should’ve gone to Metroid Prime/Dark Samus. The source of Phazon, a living mutagen blight, who corrupts and poisons entire worlds, one of which was dimensionally split in half, deserves an honorable mention.
Dark Samus even wound her corrupted tendrils into Samus twice! First, upon Metroid Prime’s defeat to steal the Phazon in her suit (and a sliver of her DNA). Second time was actually corrupting her with Phazon. Tap it too much and Samus won’t just die, she’ll become another Dark Samus.
Even Ridley was corrupted and enhanced by Phazon.
Where’s Dr. Wright? Man can summon tornados, earthquakes and even Bowser himself.
Don't know how Samus wasn't picked over Ridley seeing how she beats him everytime but oh well

Glad byleth Deserves to be on the list because we initially hated him/her bc smash ultimate But grew to love her (yes I love the female one bc she’s cute) in three houses. Reading through jeralt journal Her/his backstory was pretty tragic born with no heartbeat and never has any emotions and it’s pretty sad. In three hopes Depending on the player we get to experience more of byleth She/he starts off as a villain in the beginning of the game I won’t spoil chapter 10 of the game if you haven’t played the game yet but It depends on the player. But after three hopes I’m gonna miss byleth gonna miss her I feel like byleth era of games is the best in the series,

I had no such doubt whatsoever when Kirby from the Nintendo gaming franchise under the same name would be listed as the Number 1 most powerful Nintendo character ever. 😏 this is only part of the reason why Kirby himself from Nintendo’s “Kirby” franchise is (in my opinion especially) considered my favorite video game based childhood hero 🙂

Link has his own; but deserves a better one. Or better yet, The Legend of Zelda is one of the few Nintendo IPs that work well as a movie.
Pit has showed up in a few animated shorts, but a longer animation project inspired by Palutena's Revolting Dinner (my favorite of the three shorts) would be pretty nice.
There is an adaption of the comedy focused Splatoon manga, but I want a different adaption that focuses more on the life-and-death side of things; but not give up on comedy all together.
Fire Emblem has a short lived anime (the company that made it went bankrupt). There are different stories they could tell. Like a Tellius saga prequel focusing on characters like Greil.
My money is on Kirby being number 1. That pink puff ball is ridiculously OP. Don't even take my word for it, the Deathbattle guys had him going up against Majin Buu from DBZ.
Krystal of Star Fox has such potential, don't waste it again, Nintendo.

ALL OF THESE CHARACTERS ARE SO POWERFUL!
The thing worth noting about Mario always defeating Bowser is that Mario almost always has to rely on some sort of gimmick, or oversight on Bowser's part in order to do so. In very few games, if any, are we shown Mario being able to defeat Bowser using nothing but his own strengths.
Bowser is very strong alright but sometimes he's an idiot.

I'm going with Luigi and Yoshi and Kirby from the Super Mario and Kirby franchises Throughout the Years of Nintendo Entertainment. These three are definitely and totally THE Most Powerful Nintendo characters I've ever seen. Luigi and Yoshi bested Bowser and King Boo in the Mario and Luigi's Mansion franchises, and Kirby has defeated and bested MANY Powerful Bosses Throughout the Years of his Video Game series, including Outsmarting His Evil Longtime Archenemy, King Dedede of Dream Land. These guys definitely and totally have my Upmost Respect and Appreciation.
Fox: I've bested a scientific ape that became a Demi-God and a Space Bug Queen Entity that brought the Lylat System and higher to its knees!
Captain Falcon: I've out-raced everyone in my world and bested my God.

Fighting enemies that destroy multiple dimensions is like a typical Tuesday for Kirby. His warpstar can also travel several hundreds of times faster than light. It makes sense that he'd be the only one to be able to outrun light and survive. His warpstar vanishing in that cutscene was probably it moving so quickly that you can't see it, escaping the galaxy-sized explosion by flying away far enough, then flying back all in the span of a couple seconds.

Samus deserves a spot on this list over bowser and ridley and while ridley has one of the highest kill counts of any Nintendo villain, Samus has an equal kill count simply from how many planets she's destroyed plus that if Galeem and darkon are on here simply for how they destroyed multiple universes then why isn't dimentio on this list

What is the criteria for this list besides surface level research?
Galeem and Dharkon cannot grasp the true form of Giygas’s attack!
I say Giygas is #1 because no one can grasp the true form of His Attack. He is also the embodiment of EVIL 👹. And on his final form he has ♾️ HP. Well they can just use the cross on him.
Where do I begin with Kirby? He's able to
-Copy the abilites and powers of his enemies
-Crack planets in half
-Hit a meteor at max 9,999 light years with a measly baseball bat
-wield the power of a black hole within him
-Survive explosions
-defeat universe-level threat deities
The list goes on.
I like Number 10, Number 9, Number 8, Number 7, Number 6, Number 5, Number 4, Number 3, Number 2 and Number 1. I like all the above.
People may raise an eyebrow for Kirby unless you are a Kirby fan.

The female version of this character is one of my favorite Waifu’s and i love her! She’s still badass and hot.

I feel like Midna should be in the Legend of Zelda slot on this list. What she's capable of with the Fused Shadows is insane.
I do not care what people said but Nintendo needs to consider the Age of Calamity timeline canon. We have seen how time can be split into two through The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Sot it's very oblivious that time travel has become a part of the Legend of Zelda lore/mythology.
When OoT send Link back to the past to relive his childhood, it split into 2 timelines: The Adult Timeline and the Child Timeline.
So depending on which time frame the player choose to follow, it would be fun to explore infinite possibilities like see the Champions of Hyrule are saved from their tragic fates in the AoC timeline.
It may sound confusing but I can only hope we get a side quest in BOTW2 where we fight fight alongside with the current Champions (Riju, Teba, Sidon and Yunobo) to protect their respective villages / domains from monsters and share their memories from events of Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity.

Yoshi is very powerful too. He can eat just almost about anything, and poops out eggs with power-ups inside of them. He's physically stronger than Mario, and Luigi being able to lift huge giant eggs running at fast paces with them. Even though in the games it's never shown with him using the same power-ups as the Mario brothers he could possibly use them as well. Also he's highly intelligent being able to solve many problems that he faces. His durability is impressive too taking many blows from other opponents, and getting right back up to finish the fight. Just like Mario, and Luigi he's universal + being able to survive through the galaxy, and outswim a black hole. Listen I understand with your name and profile pic that your biased to Yoshi as a character and it’s ok to love a character. But No , he’s not physically more powerful than Mario I disagree. He’s incapable of breaking through bricks in Super Mario 64 DS and Mario is. He lacks kill power compared to Mario in the smash series. He has less feats. The egg stuff you mentioned is impressive but don’t forget that Mario has been able to lift and throw Bowser, and even a giant castle which im sure both weigh more than that Egg do
