If there was any word with which to describe Ennio Morricone's Western soundtracks, it would be 'raw'. The cries and calls sound almost animal-like in their rawness. It's a fantastic effect in such films as Sergio Leone's Dollars trilogy, "Navajo Joe", and "My Name is Nobody"
