Lisbon Diaries: First few weeks back, settling in and daily routine

- I've been back in my apartment in Lisbon for about three weeks now and am making new friends, getting involved in social activities and slowly decorating and furnishing my home. It has felt so good to be back here with the spring weather absolutely delightful and ample sunshine that makes the days so long.

It’s refreshing to hear once again from another UA-camr who expresses his own sentiments about LGBTQ+ men. Setting good boundaries seems to work and you know who you are.
I had the same experience with Duolingo. I've found that using Pimsleur has helped me get more confident with conversation. I'm definitely a masochist so I'm always learning multiple languages, but I digress. I was in Mexico recently and one of my friends was so impressed with my conversational Spanish that he asked how I've gotten so good at it! And I was thinking wow, Pimsleur must be working. 😅

Just to point out that even if in Bali there are a lot of influencer types and in gyms in the popular influencer areas - like Canggu, Seminyak, Kerobokan - you see many people with their phones and posing, that doesn't happen everywhere in Bali. It's in those types of areas mostly. Bali is not only these areas, fortunately.
Anyway, I enjoy your videos Adrien, they are interesting as I have lived in Lisbon myself and Portugal is my favourite place to live in Europe and I currently live in Ubud, Bali for nearly 2 years now. So it"s nice to see someone else's perspective on these two places, which are both home for me.

feel you, grew up in nyc. been a "digital nomad" for 4 years - my partner's from germany, my best friends are from finland/ukraine/russia. i've also had some people try to be my friend, pushing really hard when it just wasn't there. like girl, it's cool you're from ohio but when has that ever mattered lmao

Why is it that you are telling us that you are happy there? I've found happiness is a state of being. I don't think you are as happy as you could be, because I don't know if you are allowing yourself to be happy.
