I would be interested in hearing your opinions on all of the platforms, but especially Etsy! I sell quite a bit there, but occasionally they will have a glitch which throws a wrench in the works.
All I’ll say is that Etsy is not what it once was. I used to be their biggest cheerleader and happily recommended them. Just don’t like the direction they’ve gone with allowing a lot of fake vintage in…and taking away the personal touch. They’ve never really promoted vintage but I was used to that. I still make sales but I’ve lost a lot of enthusiasm for that site.
I sale mostly hard goods. A lot of it but not all is vintage. I’d like to try another platform but I don’t feel I’m ready for multiple platforms or a cross listing service. In your opinion would Poshmark be the best site for me to branch out onto.

Your subject is very timely as I, and other resellers (I’m certain), are toying with expanding our reach to other sites other than eBay. I only sell part-time but have a huge amount of inventory to list. I currently have 888 items in my eBay store but sales are soooo slow. I’m hesitant to learn all new platforms but am seriously considering my options. Thanks for all of your efforts in making these videos. They are most appreciated.

I didn’t know Etsy had bought DePop. I did see they have their own money processing system now. No more PP. I’m interested in trying Mercari. 😎

I’d probably try Mercari first. It’s a pretty easy site and hard goods do better there for us than clothing.
