India is very big as compared to other nations in South Asia with very troubled neighbourhood with economically and politically fragile Pakistan, politically unstable Nepal, Civil War in Myanmar, economically fragile Sri Lanka and now unstable Bangladesh. While India is stable and growing with 7-8%, so it is natural that they will be anxious about India. So we Indian should stop pleasing them, and handing over free money to them. And Nepal has nearly 10-15% population living in India and taking foreign remittance from India and still will hate India. We should just focus on our growth and at the end Mexico or Nicaragua can't do much to USA.

Useless interview by Sirohiya's media. The interviewer did not have the guts to ask tough questions about Indian highhandedness. Afterall Sirohiya has to please his Indian masters in RAW.

India should send seasoned politician as an ambassador to Nepal who understands people to people relationships, not a foreign service babus with British raj mentality.

The bureaucratic structure in India clearly demarcates the job descriptions of the various civil servants. It is the duty of the officers in the Indian Foreign Service (IFS) to deal with 'people to people relationships'. They receive special training on the art of diplomacy. The IAS (Indian Administrative Service) officers, for instance, are required to assist in matters of policy and governance. India, much like Nepal, follows an experience-based promotion system unlike the United States for example. Mr. Ranjit Rae is a seasoned diplomat having dedicated his life to this field. His experience should not be underestimated by any means.

The narrative that Nepal will be richer selling hydroelectricity to India or even to Bangladesh is such a nonsense argument !
We are on of the least energy consuming people ! We need electricity for our domestic and industrial revolution ! Selling electricity to India and building items made in those Indian factories doesn’t make any sense !!

@@myfirstjourney7802 Nepal was already in Industrial era during time of King Mahendra when India was not even Liberalized - India is open market economy only after ManMohan Singh reform in 1991 ! Nepal had some of the oldest tires 🛞 jutt ( dhaga) industries ! It is the bloody so called democracy of Nepal that ruined the hundreds of Industrial estate made during Kings regime ! Later so called communist-Maoist Terrorist were born who not just demolished industries but highways and schools and guess who was supporting them ? India congress and their Christian missionary bar dancer Sonia Gandhi ! Yes you read it correct ! Indian intelligence gave shelter and food to Moaist Terrorist leaders Prachanda and Baburam in Noida but to be “politically correct “ , they leved maoist as “Terrorist” same as the USA created Taliban !
I don’t know which part of India you are from, but most of the Indian consider Nepal as only a mountainous country, lack of flat land and resources ! Almost 20 percent of our lands are flat Terrai region, Vallys and Inner hill -suitable for agriculture and industries ! Imagine King Mahendra 50 years ago made 7 cities as industrial estate with hundreds of industries within on estate ! Now imagine the potential in today’s time !
Of course, I do understand Nepal and India can never be compared in economy but that doesn’t simply mean Nepal can’t be industrialized countries-people will laugh at you ! The problem is politics in Nepal, these cheap leaders created and funded by wester secularist have created weak mentality in people that Nepal can’t produce anything and should depend on India only ! Looks how small -mountainous countries like Japan and Korea are developed because of “economic of scale” model !
And when it comes industrialization revolution it is nit just about big buildings , chimneys, fire 🔥, iron , etc whatever it comes to your mind ! Industry is also about IT, Service, Religion, Hospitality ! Just a fact a country called Belgium or even Thailand who are so small in size compare to India is visited by more Tourists than India !
Nepal is f**ked up bro ! Our politics sucks ! Nepal was way developed during Hindu Kingdom ! The western style of depicting doesn’t work in Nepal ! Neharu Made big mistake not making India as a Hindu nation but a secular country even though Muslims already got their lands in name of west and east Pakistan !
India thinks unstable Nepal is better for them to play in the ground but that would be backfire to them !

@@myfirstjourney7802 Nepal had already entered the industrial era during the reign of King Mahendra, while India had not even liberalized its economy-India only became an open-market economy after Manmohan Singh’s reforms in 1991! Nepal boasted some of the oldest tire and thread (jute) industries. It was the so-called democracy in Nepal that destroyed the hundreds of industrial estates developed during the monarchy. Later, the so-called Communist-Maoist terrorists emerged, not only demolishing industries but also highways and schools. And guess who supported them? The Indian National Congress and Christian missionary Sonia Gandhi. Yes, you read that right! Indian intelligence provided shelter and food to Maoist leaders Prachanda and Baburam in Noida. However, to be “politically correct,” they labeled the Maoists as “terrorists,” similar to how the USA created the Taliban.
I’m not sure which part of India you are from, but many Indians see Nepal as just a mountainous country, lacking flat land and resources. In reality, almost 20% of Nepal’s land is flat-regions like the Terai, valleys, and inner hills, which are suitable for both agriculture and industry. Imagine, 50 years ago, King Mahendra established seven industrial estates with hundreds of factories. Think of the potential that holds today!
Of course, I understand that Nepal cannot be directly compared to India in terms of economy. But that doesn’t mean Nepal can’t become an industrialized country-people would laugh if you said that! The problem lies in Nepal’s politics. These cheap leaders, funded and influenced by Western secularists, have fostered a weak mentality among people, making them believe that Nepal can’t produce anything and should rely solely on India. Look at how small, mountainous countries like Japan and South Korea have developed using the “economies of scale” model!
Industrialization isn’t just about big factories, chimneys, fire, and iron-it’s also about IT, services, religion, and hospitality. Just as a fact, small countries like Belgium and Thailand attract more tourists than India, despite being far smaller in size!
Nepal is messed up, bro. Our politics is terrible. Nepal was far more advanced during the Hindu Kingdom era. The Western model doesn’t work here. Nehru made a grave mistake by not declaring India a Hindu nation, especially since Muslims had already been given their own lands with the creation of West and East Pakistan.
India may think an unstable Nepal benefits them strategically, but that will backfire on them!

    Your excellency,
i hope you have learned from the history that, if you try to invade nepal you will have to face horrific problems. Like you used Maoist to serve your interest in nepal but at last India and china came together to send UNMIN away isn’t that true. You speak about love and try to stab us always. You may fool our leaders but believe that those leaders are made by you for your interests not by us. How long you think your drama will go on. Loot around you what is happening. If you continue such dadagiri you will end up on many pieces like before british era. You are the most ambitious and vulnerable country in the world. So help nepal to be strong and you will be strong.

All you lot have done, is backstab us on every level. People to people, and on a state level as well. I genuinely believe this overrated relationship needs to be thoroughly downgraded. I got no sympathies with you lot, that khukhri is a great representation of the type of people you are.
All these resources could have been used to strengthen our bonds elsewhere, sri lanka, indonesia and malaysia should have seen more attention. Its a absolutely fruitless relationship for india, and should end.

I would say your leaders are fooling you outrightly and opposition always pursue anti india as votebank card
In fact Nepal's politics is cowardly managed by USA and recent MCC which passed above Nepal's constitutional framework and give immunity proves that
Your politician have major investments in USA so they can run away if any situation arises
Focus on Nepal will help you not India
By the way you can still blame India for every failure that suits your politician because they get votes for that
